Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

What do Auto Max Charge and Rain of Blows do?

Rain of Blows is Full Auto for melee, and Auto Max Charge presumably auto-maxes the MM.
Rain of Blows operates just like Full Auto, but is restricted to melee-only.

Auto Max Charge adds the Magic Modifier to the Modifier Roll when the weapon or spell is used. Stacking them together.

I figure it's reasonable to say Nepgear attacked before Blue Sky was going too fast to catch.

Honestly the counterattack is the weakest part of the omake since it's the most unlikely, Blue Sky would totally fire and dodge, but everything else just leads to Blue Sky blitzing her way to the command center, killing everyone there, and then picking off VIPs until Sega shows up. Best explanation I have for the not dodging is probably that she's still rather dazed from Nepgear's initial attack, it took ~49% of her health, and the explosion it casused.
I had this image of Blue Sky skipping across the ground like a stone across a lake.

Bounce-skid, bounce-skid, bounce-skid...

...

My trauma.

@crystalwatcher, @LostDeviljho, @Gore17, I have a question: what's the highest-tier Insanity or Madness related Affinity? I've been reading Soul Eater, and I've gotten an idea.

Yeah, like...apparently Horror is a corruptive Affinity, and it's higher in that scale than Evil is. Purity is apparently near the top of the positive morality scale, and Summer and Winter are probably higher on their scales than Fire and Ice, respectively. Is there a tier for madness-based Affinities like Insanity and Madness, and what would the top Affinity of that tier be?

Not sure. At a guess, I'd say "insanity" and "madness" are higher up on that scale, while something like "mania" would be lower, but I don't know what would be the tippy-top of the "bugfuck nuts" pile.
A ton of the different Affinities fell pray to my early incompetence when I was piecing together the Affinity Tiers.

Where they rest on tiers and how they interact depends on which sets and groupings you're looking at. The closer the given affinity is for a specific goal, the higher tier it is.

For example: Corruptive Affinities. While 'Evil' is corruptive, 'Horror' tends to be more corruptive and have bigger impacts that just Evil. So when considering the 'Crazy' pile, you want the affinity closest to the 'Crazy' that you're looking for. If you're aiming for 'should be locked in an asylum' then Insanity might be closer to what you're looking for.

Madness probably. *Glances at Wail of Madness* Speaking of, Gehaburn's a fragment of [MADNESS] lodged into our fragment of [PEACE] isn't it.
Um...

Nobody knows. Cosmos and Void splattered whoever it was so hard that not even Crys remembers who they were. :V
Hey! Don't blame me, the splattering happening at the time was immense! :V

The precise flavor of crazy I'm looking for would be something that turns people into gibbering madmen who'd willingly tear out their own tongues.

MG Black Blood's pretty messed up, even when the fact that her Super Ability turns her blood into liquid infectious madness is discounted. When she was younger, she went on a field trip to a place that got attacked by demons, and she and the other kids were captured. Some of the higher demons decided to have a few snacks, and Crona was next on the meal ticket when some Magical Girls managed to break in and rescue them. She's never fully recovered from that, though part of her deal that has her working for the Unified Light is that she goes to a therapist on a regular basis.

i don't know how to deal with people like this.

More seriously, will Nepgear tell people (or will we have the option to) that she tok Truth's soul, and if so is it be destroyed and if the soul has not been can it be retrieved.

Honestly I can't see Crona as UL. Not UD either, probably unaligned.

Sereg, you're tempting me to make a Chiaki Expy. Stop tempting me to make a Chiaki expy, it would be ridiculous.

Alright, my Crona and Maka expies! They met when the Unified Darkness was attack the town they were staying in. They wound up meeting up, then proceeded to kick ass and take names. Black Blood wound up having a major freak out, which Reaper helped end by calming her down. Now Black Blood sticks by Reaper, because Reaper makes her fell not-quite-as-crazy.

Should have used an image from the Emperor Joker arc, where he's totally not an expy of Kefka, because Kefka was already a Joker expy :V

If you can supply a better picture, I'll be happy with that.

EDIT: Incidentally, I see that Galactic President Superstar McAwesomville was never added to the front page, even as a non-canon character. Is there a reason for that?

That's a fuckton of attacks for a not-particularly-fast fighter like Crona.
That's one of the differences I decided to create for the quest. Here, Crona's Base Damage isn't as good as Maka's, but Crona's faster. In addition, Crona can take a lot more damage, thanks to a combination of natural toughness and Crona's Super Ability.

Maka on the other hand hits harder, her spell doesn't slow her down, and if you have one of the crazy Affinities, Hunter of the Insane makes it so it doesn't matter which one you have.
