Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

As Familiar enters the thread, intent on making up for lost time, he takes in his surroundings and freezes mid-step. Is this...? Yes, the time has finally come to spread the truth to the world! Excited grin spreading across his face, he finally completes his halted stride, only to immediately swivel around and run back the direction from whence he came. Minutes later he returns, this time with a parcel wrapped in cloth under his arm; likely painting or a picture frame, if one judges by the shape, though there is an irregular lump on one side.

Upon re-entrance to the thread, Familiar's pace becomes more casual, so as to not draw unwanted attention while he went about his righteous, but unfortunately often misunderstood, cause. Making his way through crowd, weaving between a moral debate and a group admiring baby pictures, Familiar finally reaches the intended congregation. Still taking measures to not be noticed, He begins unwrapping his burden, careful to keep concealed the front of what is now confirmed to be a frame with an easel attached to the back. He extends the legs and sets them to the floor, then adjusts the cloth so that it's draped over the frame properly.

After stepping back a bit to inspect his handiwork, he brings himself to a sharp salute, a proud tear escaping his eye. After a few moments, he turns away, and begins to slink back to the rock he crawled out from under. As he leaves, a whisper escapes his lips, "Purest magical girl did nothing wrong."
At first, I was like poor @crystalwatcher over there. Then I realized who it was supposed to be. All I have to say on this topic can be summed up in two words. YOU MOTHERFUCKER!

[X] Cut her down.
-[X] And then shoot her. She did literally nearly intentionally kick off the Apocalypse, after all, and you don't want her getting dragged off to chest-birth baby monstrosities.

[X] Have Samael Libras her and the array she's hooked into. Be nice to know what she and it can do BEFORE we break it.

Something even more hilarious in retrospect from the update in which Gabriel was introduced:
And besides, considering that you're only with us to get some battle experience, I doubt they'll send us on any big missions for a while.

On Gabriel's first mission she has:
  • Encountered 6 of the top 10 Magical Girls, which she described as murder machines, in existence. (Goddess Gold, Goddess White, Hero WEAPON, Angel WEAPON, Maiden of the East, Maiden of the West).
  • Had not one but two close encounters with Gaia.
  • Fought, and majorly wounded, the ninth strongest Magical Girl in existence.
  • Stopped (?) the release of a virius that would eliminate 99.97% of humanity.
  • Been captured by the Children of Nightmares.
This is just not her day. On the bright side she's survived so far!

Because people have a tendency to think emotionally rather than rationally when they feel hurt? Personally, I actually think the fact that people feel enough hate to act on it by voting to do 'bad things' is very much indicative of investment. The voters care. That is scary as hell to me. It's very good from a story standpoint, but by Rei Mitsubishi (she might as well be Nep's God), I fully expect bad things to happen. Not just because @crystalwatcher always makes those things happen anyway, but because we the voters are likely to vote to take a path leading to the bad things on purpose, out of spite.
I consider it entirely rational to execute enemies. And until you provide a case of an executed corpse who continued to kill people, I will continue to do so.

Well while they weren't executed there are two obvious examples in this quest alone:
  1. Goddess Grey
  2. Candy Heart
both died and are still kill people, just on the wrong side.

Another potential example would be Maiden of the West since she doesn't die when killed:
Maidens of the Apocalypse
Level 300
Attacks Per Turn: N/A
Affinity: Annihilation | Despair | End | Death | World
Ability: Auto Assault | Autonomous Combat | Instant Recovery

Currently redead with her body atomized I think. I have to go check again to make sure. But the point is, she didn't kill people even though she was brought back to life because we killed her pretty much instantly and brutally. That still makes me sad since we knew she was being controlled. Should have done a probing shot so Nep would figure out the seal, and then had her target only that because that is a thing she could do. Or at least disabled Candy Heart.

OK, I only literally just wrote this part but I already wanna cry for this thing.

Update said:
West's eyes open slowly, leaking tears of blood. How she's still alive you have no clue, but she somehow is. Her eyes are dulled with pain, but they find the Nightmare easily. "You are..." You have no idea what passes between the two of them, but you can see the happiness in West's eyes as she dies right then and there.

"Mama? Mama, what's wrong? ... Mama? MAMA!!!"

Just to poke your guy's paranoia button:

If you view the current situation through Video Game logic, what does it look like?
...
Hmmm...
Ah.
We've grabbed an ally from being captured, with little in the way of major opposition. Now we have the chance to potentially recruit additional help, still without major opposition.

This isn't the kind of game where you find ammo and medkits strewn upon the ground, but gaining allies like this? Especially someone we previously encountered as a boss?
Incoming boss battle.

Edit: And, ninja'd. This is going to be Fun.

We probably should have. But we didn't have any IC reason to know about the Control Seals yet. We also seriously upped our firepower due to dying, we didn't really know how little defense she had against us. Hindsight really, and we could've done better, but I still think we made a reasonable (if shitty) call at the time.

...

eh sure why not? Nepgear needs her own little sister! Or something.
That's what I was thinking, and when the scientists try to dissect her/the brass tries to get us to turn her over, we go lightbulb on them. Or, whatever. She's a cute moeblob right up until you realize she's going to be able to stomp your entire army in a week if she needs to. Magical Girls included.

Roaring Rampage of Revenge Ana would be a mess that no one should want if they have a couple of braincells to rub together.

Is this how Crys grants my request to get best girl on our side?
not what I meant, but I can work with it.
