Yeahhh... That thing will Shred us.
Team GEAR or no.
Let's avoid it if we can.
Well we
could actually take it on.
Human GEARs + Nepgear combined, assuming you can synchronize like this against one large foe instead of hundreds of regular sized ones, do 15,870 damage which drops Scops health down to 13,938. Gabrial can pull off two 8,000 damage attacks each of which drop it's health by 6,068 for a combined 12,136 which leaves it with just 1,802 health. Honestly
Truth is the weak link here since unless she uses one of her [Sense] No Evil spells she can't even
scratch the thing let alone do the 3,734 damage required to finish it off.
It's just a stupid move since it seems to be on our side and given what our likely opposition is...
Also, I'm going to campaign for getting Applied Teachings. Yes, I have read the efficiency posts, it's just that I want to get it so we don't have to bring it up anymore. That and for its effects.
Honestly despite my posts on it's inefficiency I don't particular
object to getting Applied Teachings, which I somehow keep misremembering as Applied Techniques. It's just that right now Purifier Beam gives
three times as much bang for your buck and is finally at the point where it starts
rapidly growing.
Personally I recommend grabbing 3 more Levels of Purifier Beam (330 xp) before getting Applied Teachings since that brings Nepgear up to 2,553 Damage per attack which puts her in the upper end of Base Damage we've seen. That leaves her in a good position to then investigate any of the flashy techniques Applied Teachings
might unlock.
@crystalwatcher - I think you, or worse
Nepgear, forgot something
really important:
For a moment, Rei's fury is almost palatable. And you believe she would actually strike the Commander, despite his reasonable argument. Then the moment is past, and she stalks from the tent in a fury.
"Nepgear, once you're done in here, meet me outside." And then she's out the door.
