Attempting to Fulfill the Plan MNKh Edition

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
I do love how 'back the MFA' has a chance of nuclear war, but invading Austria doesn't.
For a pretty simple reason, Italy does not have nukes!

Made a plan for our nuclear rocket (I think it makes more sense to do so than do a line vote for it) (Nvm, apparently this isn't the case so disregard and vote by line), I think going for a DUMBO design is a lot more interesting than reiterating on NERVA, and this shouldn't cost too much, just an extra 5 RpT.

As for our CI Minister, we shouldn't pass on a fascist killing machine girlboss! Not to mention her skills will be much needed going into the 80s as our easy oil runs out.

And I am all in favor of extracting concessions from Semyonov, and not risking nuclear war. I think that as long as we keep oil prices low on our part in the next couple
years things might work out.

Going with Cryo's ultraconservative plan for the rockets, fishing for a favour, and of course Zuleikha

The thing to remember here is that any nuclear rocket is a big game-changing advance compared to OTL. Making our nuclear rocket design more complex and expensive in pursuit of higher performance, when our space program is trying to get by on incremental progress without "moonshot" levels of super-funding, isn't a great idea.

So I, for one, favor a nuclear rocket design that's based on something we know worked in real life, at least as a prototype, since it's still a huge increase in Isp performance that will be transformative for a lot of space applications.

The chances of nuclear war are overblown, such demonstrations of strength are pretty expected in the moment of crisis. No one's first thought is going to be "There's a crisis in Austria, but this isn't just posturing, that's the moment the Soviets will invade Western Europe". I think the bigger risk here is that police intervention has a chance of being both too much and not enough at the same time, exacerbating the crisis but not having the power to suppress it. Still, this is a pretty acceptable risk, all told.

Thing is, I don't think we can choose less than two. The option certainly doesn't tell us we can. I guess two projects is just the optimal size of the program, and there's no point in downsizing it.

Fearing nuclear war is how you lose the cold one! More seriously, this is the most moderate option (i.e. not hoping things will suddenly sort themselves out or creating an expensive propaganda bonanza).

I like one simple and one ambitious. Also our quality of nuclear cores might increase with a well developed Atomash.

She sounds nice.

Arguments for Seidmamedova are convincing to me, as is taking backing Semyonov. Hopefully it doesn't hurt our alliance with Romanov to badly. I am very much not knowledgeable enough to make a choice regarding our rocketry options, so I'll leave that to others.

Apparently we are supposed to vote by line, so fixed my vote.
