Hmm, @DragonParadox when Viserys taught the second time in the Scholarium, was there a noticeable decrease in the sense of camadairy, or more than can be attributed to the increase in numbers.

I look to the mages as though they are a big pile of cuddly puppies that we... Then send out to become traumatised. Hmm.

My point is, a culture with ideals of "we are the special ones working together to save the world/make great change*" sounds like a powerful unifier, and very useful for a king to have in his mage guild, so I'm wondering how we can help with that containing while the scholarium expands.
 
@TotallyNotEvil, @Azel, @Goldfish, whoever wins this matters not much to me, as I really don't like any of choices.

But please, add starting to loot the ship to your votes, so that we aren't wasting precious update-time.

I really hope Dany is in her Half-Celestial form, which is sufficiently otherworldly that Siduri might not have made the connection. Is Dany's hair even silver in that form?

I'm really going to have to start specifying in my plansplans combat forms she uses when we go into high danger situations.

She still looks distinctly Valyrian. I think she only gets golden wings.

Looked like Telepath, actually, given she was talking to us through it.
 
In regards to looting:

-[] Start looting:
--[] Collect all petrified devils, starting with the captain.
--[] Collect all corpses and their equipment.
--[] Viserys immediately goes to meet the Coatl.
--[] Take all maps, charts, papers, books and similar from the captain's cabin.
--[] Look for any rare or special materials among the cargo.

Ooh, the books especially will be neat. One of Hell's Oracles would have very interesting writings.

But yeah, the more that I think about it the more I realize how invaluable that Oracle is going to be as a trophy. The things we'll learn via Speak with Dead...

So I am not that well read on the lore on this guy. He worth the effort of a dedicated book to extract all his secrets?

Could be. If so, I would have been exploiting the hell out of it. And if she's using Telepath, which is only a +1 CR adjustment, then she should also be using Precognizant. Telepathic Bond, Mind Blank, Moment of Prescience, etc...

BTW, just had a thought; Blood Wind is cast as part of a Standard Action to make a Full Attack against a target at range. If we cast the Blood Wind as a Swift Action, would we then also make the Full Attack as a Swift Action?

Nah.

The Uniila is worth a book because due to her unique magic she knows all spells of 6th level or lower in the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook, and DP ruled that this would basically turn a bookified Uniila into a proper spellbook. Even setting aside the spellbook component, Uniilas are the researchers of hell. There is a crapton of lore we could get out of her, including Valyrian Dragons, Valyrian Steel, Wildfire, etc. An Uniila book is so valuable that it should outright be considered a strategic asset.

The Xerfilstyx on the other hand, while a prophet of sorts, is still insane. We bookify this guy and all we get is a book of mostly delirious prophecies. Besides, he happens to be a fantastic sacrifice.

EDIT: Not to mention the fact that we have yet to find one scroll of Scribe's Binding.

Also it just hit me from the Interlude that Viserys has ten points more in Knowledge Arcane and the Planes than Lya. Like that's a lot. Yeesh. Any time he is in the library he should consistently make DC50 checks on average. Like hoolie sheet! What are his random ramblings like?
 
@Duesal, what if we feed the Maelephant, the Xerfilstyx, and Tor to revive each of the Nagas? They're CR 13+ each.
Yss is currently awake and not in food coma. This is not ideal.

Can we resume discussion on what to do with Trios? I really want to have Yss subsume the faith, maybe with the nagas fused as a three headed one for a new aspect avatar? Get Messenger in the fold, "ritual to summon a god" act, then declare the Threefold Path of life, death, and rebirth as Aspects of Yss.

Personally I preferred those sacrifices for different things.

Maelephant to the Fungus Forge to unlock the amazing breathweapon for all plant creatures.
Tor to be reserved for Yss helping the Serpentfolk Eggs hatch as full sentients.
And the Xerfilstyx for the Tree of the Dawn Age, doubly so since if we feed this one to Yss then we have to sacrifice all the magic items again, whereas the Old Gods will just spit them back out for us.

We have plenty of time to gather the sacrifices for reviving the Nagas, we'll be fine.

We could grab all the PC's, de-petrify it under the binding heart tree (after putting it under all the curses and debuffs that can affect a statue), beat it unconscious (asr + merciful bloodwish disintergrate, or whatever. we can non-lethal this thing np), strip it, curse it, make it a turtle, and stick it in the bottle for either Yss or the OG :D

Or the snare, to stop people from freaking out.

Dragons can turn into humanoids and it's not that special so the significance of it will be implying we are a fake dragon and human is our real shape after calling the whole species ''lizards" and that "you have seen my shape" comment.
I'm confused why this is desirable.
