-[X] Given that a major tenant of his faith is the war against the Great Other, what can you tell us about R'hllor? Was he perhaps the "fire to the east" the First Men fled from?
--[X] What do you know of the flaming sword Lightbringer and Azor Ahai, the man the Red Priests claim drove back the Long Night? What do you know of the Last Hero? Were Azor Ahai and the Last Hero the same person?
-[X] Ask about Father Storm, what the Old Gods know of him, how that will be in relation to Ysilla Royce who is bound to him and Mya Stone who is born of that divine lineage and who is now in our service.
-[X] Update Bloodraven on Ymeri activity in the Far North, and ask what other powerful spirits and gods he's noticed meddling in the Farthest North.
-[X] Update Bloodraven on the discoveries in Sothoryos and about Lolth and the Underdark. Ask about the passages he's aware of, excluding the one in Old Town.
    [X] Ask more questions
-[X] Ask if It would be possible to harness the power of the heart by wards and rituals, that its power may serve our own workings without risking interference from the enemy.

We can always just teleport him to the wall even if he does not want to go. It's a time honored way to remove unwanted political opponents.

Mmm

I wanted to ask about... What was it... Ah well, damn I hope I remember.

We never did. To be fair it really doesn't look that valuable. Is it worth looking into?

It's basically blood for enchantment, and is apparently very inefficient. Not worth time, and we are betting off feeding blood to the OG.

Also, aren't we supposed to give Dalla a heart tree at some point? *wanders off to find ways for making soil fertile in classic 3.5*

@DragonParadox I don't think we ever asked Vee what resources she needed to make parts of the stepstones fertile, how far the effect spread, or time needed in thread, can you give us an overview from when she did it ages ago?

Ugh, please. We have enough rituals to research to keep them busy for months, and this is what you want to use them for?
Something neat might come of it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

More seriously, we need Lya to research the Divination and Scry rituals next turn.

I think she always just blasted Plant Growth at the place until it stuck.

Probably some sort of ad-hoc blood magic ritual enhancement of it if it was plant growth for either stat damage if it was before we got restoration, or drain, if it was after. And she probably did it without getting the party to lend a hand too. *sigh*

I'm afraid that the very beginning of our visit, especially after the quip about reorganizing reality in a more sensible fashion, made it very clear that human is term that only loosely applies to either Bloodraven or Viserys these days.

We are both apostates. Men who saw the works of gods and decided that they are lacking. That those who wield supreme power are unworthy of it.

It's hard enough for Viserys to remember to sleep more then two hours and eat now and then like the filthy muggles around him. Let's not try to appeal to the human nature of the tree-lich.

Well, replace human with person or sophont then, and my sentiment stands. I'm appealing to "human" because we only know treelich aspect and (his minimal) human aspect. Not much else to work with in terms of approach tbh. Perhaps a focus on "Desire to spend time with kin" then?

Also, the above is just an attempt to broaden the label used so that what I intend to get across fits with the definitions you are using. For me, none of what you said here has much bearing on a person's humanity. Humans... do all the things that you listed - attempt to reorg. reality, being aspotates, judging those with greater power than you, and indeed, even wearing a magic ring are all human activities.

Basically, Bloodraven isn't the type of dude one hugs, but... whatever the appropriate version of that is.

Plant Growth is what you're looking for.

Regarding the Heart Tree, the idea was tossed around half-heartedly, but we never promised anything.

And personally I'd rather get our own kingdom fully taken care of before we grow Dalla her own tree.

We've still got the following to do:
Defense Tree #2 for Sorcerer's Deep
Reviving the petrified Heart Tree in Sorcerer's Deep
A grove of weirwoods for the Children of the Forest
Heart Tree for Deepcleft
Heart Tree for Port Sorrow
Heart Tree for Saltcliff
Heart Tree for Westhaven
Heart Tree for He'Nekar
Heart Tree for Myr
Heart Tree for Pentos
Heart Tree for each of the three castles of the Night's Watch the other two castles of the Night's Watch
Heart Tree for the Nightfort

Tentatively (after all other trees are grown)
Heart Tree for Braavos (yes, a second one)
Heart Tree for House Velaryon
Heart Tree for Essaria
Heart Tree for House Brune
Heart Tree for Sunspear
Heart Tree for the Basilisk Isles (each of the Basilisk Isles)
Heart Tree for the Xorn in the Plane of Earth

To be fair, Dany did hug him, creeping out Rhealla in the process.

Well, yeah, but that's cuz Rhealla was a muggle. I'm just happy that he saved Mia, and wish to express such, and am defaulting to hugs. I really think we should ask what resources he might like having access to that we can drop off/commision off plane for him, in lieu of hugs :D

I'm even happier that he didn't save her until after she was attacked, too. Not because I'm a monster, but because either trauma=trauma, or trauma=traumatised PCs. And I really want me as many PCs as I can get :D

@Duesal, why a second defense tree for SD? That's pretty pointless.
I think that was just a leftover note I had. We don't need a second Defense Tree.

I'd like to poke at Riz'Neth about letting us grow a tree in his ruins, though. I want Bloodraven to have eyes in Sothoryos.

That said, we need to make sure to position the tree so the roots don't accidentally eat the heart of the city.

OK, vote closed. Let's round off exposition day.

Inqusition ideas: alachemy items that do damage like an alechimists flask, but not fire.

And again, concentrated dawn fruit extract. Seriously, i want a party tier product rather than dawn-ale

After we make the Gate to him, I was planning on offering to make Leshys and maybe a Treant for him, to be placed as needed.

Well, maybe ask to do that now for next time we visit/make a gate, and ask if he wants particular magic items made (commissioned*)? Save him having to spend time switching certain spells in, for example.

If we're lucky and the ice-heart = terrifying via implication to the genies, we might get some big things at a significant discount.

Or just surprise him with Smokey Confine'ed troup of Leshies and Treants next time. I mean they're OG servants so he wont probably mind nor havr authority issues.

Edit: Cue the surprise when the Other surround Brynden only to have a veritable flood of Sunflower Leshies sweeping their armies of the dead away. :V
