A hefty sacrifice wouldn't go amiss. So - god of rebirth. What would it take for Yss to do a mass ressurection/reincarnation ritual? Just in case I mean.
I want them too.
Poor Bronn. Don't worry, you'll get paid back in magic items, and when you get home you'll have a snazzy dragonskin cloak to show off.
Also, TOR! Messing with our snake-people?! You're doubly dead, now.
Personally I'm game. It's not like we didn't have a crap-ton of stuff to interrogate him about anyway. Can we please go for capture if reasonable? I really don't want him to come back again.
Hey, we tried. It's not like we actively ignored this. It's just that Yss told us this would be a wasted effort because of Tor's ridiculous spell resistance. Somehow the bastard would have managed to shrug off a freaking Greater Curse.I feel bad we didn't curse Tor earlier since we might have prevented this.
@Duesal can we curse Tor now? Maybe get Yss to help provide more power since he is hurting his children?
Also we should spirit eggs away for safety till this is over and return them to kin when safe.
Maybe we can revive the dreamer Tor killed as well later.

Think GM explained it would have not worked at the time and we could try again later, we could try that now.Hey, we tried. It's not like we actively ignored this. We could, but it's better to secure the eggs and find the living snake-people first. Tor undoubtedly has contingency plans in the event of his fall, and he'd probably be able to murder everyone else if we blindly get him with the curse.Think GM explained it would have not worked at the time and we could try again later, we could try that now.
Resisting the spell isn't really that amazing. Just good luck. The Staff of Ages has a caster level of 15. Viserys, for example, could successfully resist it with a 60% success rate.Personally I'm game. It's not like we didn't have a crap-ton of stuff to interrogate him about anyway.

Wasn't there a spell perfectly matched for breaking his SR, @Goldfish? I think you did find that one.
I think we should split the party, curse Tor to 1 wis and scry-and-loot him, while others capture other important targets.
@DragonParadox Have we got a set of the Titan's Tools with us, or have the new ones been distributed already?
I think that taking Tor out right now is what is most needed, then. It's the True Casting spell, which I had made into a PSoK for Viserys' Grimoire. We have him use that, while Lya uses Harmonic Chorus on him, as he cancels a Moment of Greatness buff to double the bonus. That will increase Viserys' caster level to 20 and add +10 to overcome SR, guaranteeing that he will defeat SR 30 or less.
That's the benefit of using a staff in D&D/Pathfinder. If your stats and/or caster level are better than those of the staff, you use your own.
Propably something to get used to....sorry if I'm being nosy. I hate when dead enemies come back.
Tor was right on top of my "murderblender at sight" list, I can't relay with words how happy I was to get rid of him...
