...who called it?
I called it.
And I am in no way happy to pick up this phone, one I called out the moment we learned of Tor's new nature :/

Poor Bronn. Don't worry, you'll get paid back in magic items, and when you get home you'll have a snazzy dragonskin cloak to show off.

Also, TOR! Messing with our snake-people?! You're doubly dead, now.

Can we please go for capture if reasonable? I really don't want him to come back again.

I feel bad we didn't curse Tor earlier since we might have prevented this.

@Duesal can we curse Tor now? Maybe get Yss to help provide more power since he is hurting his children?

Also we should spirit eggs away for safety till this is over and return them to kin when safe.

Maybe we can revive the dreamer Tor killed as well later.

Personally I'm game. It's not like we didn't have a crap-ton of stuff to interrogate him about anyway.

Hey, we tried. It's not like we actively ignored this. It's just that Yss told us this would be a wasted effort because of Tor's ridiculous spell resistance. Somehow the bastard would have managed to shrug off a freaking Greater Curse.

Spell resistance. It was not a will save, but a fucking divine-blessed spell resisting skin.

So better release the Richard so that he bludgeons the serpent-fucker to death

Think GM explained it would have not worked at the time and we could try again later, we could try that now.

We could, but it's better to secure the eggs and find the living snake-people first. Tor undoubtedly has contingency plans in the event of his fall, and he'd probably be able to murder everyone else if we blindly get him with the curse.

Resisting the spell isn't really that amazing. Just good luck. The Staff of Ages has a caster level of 15. Viserys, for example, could successfully resist it with a 60% success rate.

All we learned from Yes was that the next time we used the staff on Tor, the staff would roll poorly on its caster level check.

So spirit away eggs and try to help snakes under siege?

Could get them supplies as well or at least conjure up some food.

Wasn't there a spell perfectly matched for breaking his SR, @Goldfish? I think you did find that one.

I think we should split the party, curse Tor to 1 wis and scry-and-loot him, while others capture other important targets.

It's the True Casting spell, which I had made into a PSoK for Viserys' Grimoire. We have him use that, while Lya uses Harmonic Chorus on him, as he cancels a Moment of Greatness buff to double the bonus. That will increase Viserys' caster level to 20 and add +10 to overcome SR, guaranteeing that he will defeat SR 30 or less.

That's the benefit of using a staff in D&D/Pathfinder. If your stats and/or caster level are better than those of the staff, you use your own.

I think that taking Tor out right now is what is most needed, then.

...sorry if I'm being nosy. I hate when dead enemies come back.
Tor was right on top of my "murderblender at sight" list, I can't relay with words how happy I was to get rid of him...

And yet here this fuck is, clear as day.

Propably something to get used to.
Most enemies worth our time at this level will have at least considered that they might die and they have options to prepare for that case.
Though we are usually thorough enough that the odds are bad for most Rezzing-options.

First things first, can we get the Eggs out of here? I'd rather not risk a chance of something happening to them while we go after this asshole.

Also would the Tree Spirit mind new accommodations once we're finished? I'm sure Yss wouldn't mind a garden or two near his temple and that lizard dryad is basically a priest of Yss.

Here we go. Unless Tor's SR is 35+, which should be blatantly impossible, he is not going to resist this time.

[X] Plan Maximum "Fuck You, Tor old buddy!"
-[X] Ask the Spirit Lizard if it would turn the eggs over to us for safe keeping once this matter is settled. Tell it we are here at the behest of Yss, the Serpent God, who desires the survival of its former worshipers.
--[X] Invite the Spirit Lizard to Sorcerer's Deep, if the tree to which it is bound can be relocated.
-[X] Everyone present quickly enacts relevant buffs (those with a duration that will last for at least 10 minutes/level), while Viserys uses Greater Shadow Enchantment to duplicate the effects of a Grand Destiny spell.
--[X] They will stand guard over Viserys while he performs the ritual with the Staff of Ages to curse Tor.
---[X] Once everyone is ready, Lya casts Harmonic Chorus on Viserys, then begins maintaining the effect with Swift Concentration. When the ritual nears completion, she casts a Moment of Greatness spell.
---[X] Shortly before Viserys completes the ritual, Vee will use her Hallucinogenic Smoke spell to augment an Augury spell in order to determine the results of attempting to Teleport directly to Tor's location after he is cursed.
----[X] Viserys assumes True Dragon form, then uses the Staff of Ages, with Tor's skull as a focus, to target the reincarnated mage with Bestow Greater Curse in order to reduce his Wisdom attribute to 1. To assist with this, Viserys casts the True Casting spell and uses a Grand Destiny charge to provide a +4 bonus to his caster level check to overcome Tor's Spell Resistance and cancels his Moment of Greatness buff to temporarily boost the effect of Harmonic Chorus so that it raises his caster level to 20.

We are cutting his Magic-resistant skin off and throwing him to Yss.

Fuck Tor.
Fuck Tor in particular.
