@Duesal, no interest in the Holy Refuge or with the Chaotic Good Goddess of the Moonsingers?
Her "sacrifice" may be in the form of quests that we can set our B and future C&D teams at. We also have to get our reward for solving the missing relic (Mirror Mephit). The Mirrorway is our reward for freeing it, not for finding out what happened to it.

Also, I'm not actually looking for more fetch quests. We already have far more fetch quests than we do baby adventurers. Beyond the Wall, Rhoynish City States, Braavos Swamps, Sothoryos, Dornish Ruins, etc. More on top of that would be way too much.
EDIT: What we really need is more baby adventurers, which is why I want to push for Alysande to come be a guest lecturer. I want our wizards to level up faster.

Only a small percentage are really suited for advancement to PC-level. It takes actual trauma, but also combined with that the inclination to move past that trauma to grasp for power.
Mia is abnormally curious, so while traumatized, her first response was to be better for next time. Most will probably, in the best case, request light duty afterwards, if they actually run into anything horrifying.

1. Crush Lys in open warfare alongside our Dothraki
2. Crush Pentos in open warfare alongside the Braavosi (soon to be our Braavosi)
3. Go on an extended mission into the former Dothraki Sea, fight against undead, get XP
4. Whenever they're strong enough, have them tag along with the baby adventurers wherever they're stationed
5. Sail with Moonsong or Salladhor Saan
6. Spend some time with the Inquisition or the Silver Eye
7. Volunteer to temporarily help out at the Night's Watch
8. Go explore some ruins in Dorne
I really want those guest lecturers, though. Wyla and Alysande will be such a major help when we can convince them to become regulars, and I'm also working to figure out how we can get the Sentient Wax Golem from Tyrosh to lecture as well. Wizards!
It is a damn shame that Lya will almost never have time to personally teach in the Scholarum given all the major projects she's heading, so this is the next best thing.
By the way, I would like to bring Teana along for Sothoryos, at minimum for the first day against the thousands of spiders. Good XP for her, and I want her help to capture sacrifices, and additionally it might help build up her confidence a bit more. Besides, we're bringing the Shadow Tower, so it's not like she wouldn't be there anyway.
Also! @TotallyNotEvil, thoughts on having Waymar buckle down and starting to train Duskblades? We're going to the Plane of Air at the beginning of next turn and presumably we'll be getting those Griffons and Hippogriffs, so maybe we should lay the foundation of that Order of Knights that Waymar was supposed to head.
EDIT: We also need to hurry up and summon those Lesser Phoenixes to serve as teachers and help out at the orphanages.

That's horrible. I love it.
We should make sure that they get a rank in knowledge: nature or two, touching on vipers a month beforehand, and then make them use Viper!Pens, while the magelings are under immunity to poison/vipers are cursed to not actually poison anyone
edit: @Duesal still don't know what an order of knights looks like, or if Waymar knows what it involves, and if he does, if he wants to be the boss dude of it.

It's something that we've already promised him he'd be getting, way way back after we came back from Mantarys. True, we don't have a firm structure in mind just yet, but it's been in the works for years now IRL. And Waymar was pretty excited about it.
Now it's just a matter of actually finding candidates to join. We need to poach some nobles from both Westeros and Essos (as well as any particularly qualified non-nobles, but the nobles are important for appearance's sake), have Waymar whip them into shape and have them learn to ride the Griffons and Hippogriffs without dying, etc.
They won't be as overtly important as the Inquisiton, perhaps, but they'll still be really important. Nobles will trip over themselves to have the chance to make their children griffon riders. Griffons live for centuries and are famously loyal. You ride a griffon and there's a good chance your grandchildren will ride it as well.
EDIT: Also, increasing our Airforce beyond our collection of Dragonlords will never be a bad thing, provided of course that every last one of them is properly indoctrinated.

Also, reading through her PRC's description and seeing "cavernous depths of Braavos archive" part made me doubt a bit what we were doing with Sealord here.
I'm generally disinclined to share lore.
But one way or another, in-character Viserys considers it a good thing, to a certain extent.
Here, however, we set up a "for every book we copy he gets a book".
Which isn't all that great, because our library is strictly magic-oriented, and is superb at that.
But we are still horrendously lagging behind in all mundane subjects, bar geography and law.
And, wouldn't you know it, Braavos Archive has it all.
And it has much, much more books than we have.
So, I'm kind of afraid that we won't even get all the books we want from this exchange, 20/20 or not, let alone copying the entire archives and all lore of Silver Eye.
We're trying in-character not to spread dangerous lore we have, remember.
And we have a lot of it :/

We settled that with the Sealord himself. That's what the Inquisition and Silver Eye working closely together means. I'll go ahead and clarify that again, though. No harm there.
That's what the equal exchange of lore is. A book for a book. The Sealord has already bargained away his archives a long time ago, we don't have to give him anything for that, but anything that the Silver Eye has that the Sealord doesn't I don't mind giving them a bit of arcane lore for. Keep in mind this could just be things like magical bestiaries and commentaries on certain schools of magic or whatever.

oNah, I actually want to write fiction, of all things. Studying a uni career mostly out of societal, family, and personal pressure. I try to rationalize the pain by arguing that knowing psychology should make me able to write more compelling characters. It's a tough sell though, and whether I buy it or not mostly depends on how grumpy I woke up that day.
Should we break out the beers? Quilmes tastes nice, like a vaguely respectable version of budweiser.

I think starting the Order before taking Westeros would be ill advised. We don't want the stupid nobles rationalising their opposition to it by pointing out the lack of actual knights in it, manned by filthy weak essosi. It should be a mixed order sure, but for that we need westerosi on it from the get go, and its kind of difficult to sent young noble sons to SD and survive big bobby b's hammer to the chest.
Also, phoenixes teaching in our orphanages?! Duesal you are a genius! This spawning otherwordly awesome teachers certainly has potential, we could have a superbly educated next generation if we play it right, though convincing the phoenixes to sing our praises (imperial propaganda) is a must.

There is that problem, but what I'm suggesting is that Waymar start teaching so that we actually have some Duskblades. Right now we have a grand total of one -- Waymar himself. When he starts the order whenever we conquer Westeros, the Duskblades he's already trained by then can then teach the nobles we poach. We don't have to start the order itself, but I definitely insist on laying the groundwork and investing in future PCs.
They're pretty much perfect for the job, aren't they? They can rotate between teaching in the Scholarum and presiding over the orphanages.

Breeding habits of the Essosi Hawkmouse Volumes 1, 2 & 3 should not be equivalent to Ultimate Servitude: A primer.
Even spellbook for spellbook isn't nearly even, a One-shot on Teleport could be worth 5 other spells of equivalent level.

I doubt it's something that DP's going to screw us over on. We can just assume that there's roughly the same amount of knowledge per abstract book and leave it at that.
EDIT: So this is our current library:
Each and every point in the library represents dozens of books. How many per point exactly? I dunno, this is all completely abstract. So when we get books from allies, "book for book" while not the most ideal IRL is perfectly fine for abstractions like this since it just translates to an equal exchange of knowledge.
