All of that looks good to me. Just remember to make a list of all that stuff for next turn, because I guarantee you that I won't remember.
I'll be sure to take care of it.

The Quill of Scribing can be knocked out immediately by Valeria (after she Glamers the mithral fullplate of Dany, Vee, and Tyene), and Lya can scribe two or three scrolls whenever.

We're getting the Sealord's entire library so we're good for books, we're getting their fey rituals in exchange for the Identification Ritual, we're getting info on Alysande an the Silver Eye as a whole, we're getting all the cursed magic items, etc.

I think this is it for everything we wanted out of the Silver Eye, but @everyone if I missed anything just tag me about it.

Because succeding in the attempt has, I believe, ultimatly less impact than her hearing the voices of the Old Gods, feeling their anger and what it is directed at and noting no real malice towards mankind in general or Braavos in particular. All while Bloodraven, the only guy with higher level than us we know of, tells her how it is.

People tend to trust their own judgement more than that of others, even charismatic friends.

Yes let's indluge her and set a precedent for wasting our time while we are going out of our way to help them.

We are a King, we founded their organisation, we have private meetings with their Pondmaster and our good relations are favoured over that of a continent.

Dementors...

Hmmm...

I bet Viserys could kill those things if he tried really hard. Maybe hitting them with a blast of Heal.

Short of that they could make the world's most terrifying turtles.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Turtles of DISPAIR!

Yeah, I'm not sure how they could be stopped. Control Winds to gather them in a ball and resilient sphere could buy 15 minutes, but as I understand it, if you put them in a material container, they would just entropy their way out.

And they probably have some sort of spell drain ability like the seeker that would wear away at a permanency effect.

It depends on how they work, if they "cannot be destroyed" then we just burn them, cannot is just another way of saying immune and nothing is Immune to our Fire.

If they reform that's another story but the solution is likely in the details, how long does it take, do they require anything to do so?

Dementors sill have travel time so Teleport shenanigans might be an option and basically outside the bounds of HP Wizard capabilities, or at least recorded results even if somebody was crazy enough to side along apparate one.

I wonder how they like the Sun?

The second we take over Braavos there are several things I want to do:

1. The Sealord and Alysande get their own dragonpens to signify their status as important and trustworthy minions (of course with the understanding that their pens never replicate and are under guard).
2. The Silver Eye gets a massive shipment of Cold Iron weapons "just in case".
3. We grow a second celebratory Heart Tree in Braavos next to the first one.

Are they living creatures? Or some manner of Undead?

If they are Undead, there are all sorts of effective spells that could be used against them, though most of them are Divine in nature.

I'm pretty sure the magic of HP, if it could be broken down like D&D, would all be of the Arcane variety.

[X] Duesal

I wonder if the fact that our Queen is Braavosi will make the integration easier... probably, but I wonder if some reactionaries who would have rebelled, will not do so because of it.

I feel ya.

Been home for nearly a week now, just have to go back tomorrow for a final on mechanics, currently half-heartedly reading some very dry slides on Rotation, Revolution and Torque. Then it's back home on thursday until August.

For some reason, I killed it without even really trying on a subject people fail left and right, even on the seriously dreaded department-wide, all-literal, fully discursive midterm I got like, 27/33.

Very happy that, barring disaster tomorrow of me not managing 7/34, I will have passed straight through on everything this semester.

Of course, that means next one I got the sadistic combo of Calculus III (Multivariable, everything not beyond series or partial derivatives), Eletromagnetism, Waves and Oscilations and Diferential Equations I, with Experimental Physics, a fully practical course with a fabled workload, to top it off.

And that's after I've chipped at the subjects of that particular semester.

Still, happy with everything (hopefully) going through with no mad scramble for the special exam.

I wonder, is it just me here that's on college?

Damn. I'm studying Psychology (even though I plan to never use it) so that makes two at least.

I have to ask, in what way is Cold Iron superior to Adamantium? If Braavos is ours, then they are people under our protection, so their defenders should get the best (to a reasonable degree)

Adamantine is far rarer, and thus more expensive, and doesn't neatly bypass most Fey Damage Reduction like Cold Iron will.

Also this. Adamantium is a material that should be hoarded until we come across a truly exceptional future minion, in which case we still weigh the pros and cons of equipping them.

I'm still waiting for Lya to get to level 18 or more for us to make Ser Richard a set of Reinforced Segmented Adamantium Fullplate with all the best enchantments stacked in there. And unlike freaking Valyrian Steel, it'll have DR, and it won't waste money by having Fire Resistance 30. We're going to get him the greatest artifact armor we can muster.

The best "general use" weapon is probably a +3 adamantine weapon with a Lesser Fiendslayer Crystal, as it bypasses all three common material DRs and DR/Good (of evil outsiders, which is most of everyone with DR good), besides being very hard to destroy. 2100 IM for the whole thing, not counting adamantine prices.

Weren't we considering growing two here anyway, one for the Sealord/Silver Eyes, and another on the Isle of the Gods? Or was that a Yss temple we were going to put there? Why not both?
Currently we only have plans for one Heart Tree, specifically for the Silver Eye. This is due to a limited supply of proper sacrifices, as well as the fact that it's a good idea to let the Silver Eye and Braavos as a whole to get used to the Heart Tree first before we grow more.

When the time comes we can certainly grow the Sealord his own Heart Tree, as well as grow a Heart Tree on the Isle of the Gods.
