Why would we? He knew about the two dragons, and telling him about devils and undead etc. makes us look concerned and honest. And part of Azema's existence - perhaps she'd like to kept it secret?

I wouldn't deny having an ex-demon in our service, but we should keep Azema specifically quiet maybe, after all we first worked together to cover up how his brother died...
I want to offer this to him as well, but I want to do right by him and offer him Cyclic Reincarnation the second we get our hands on that. The Pondmaster's statement about being too old to begin a new apprenticeship makes me want to offer him the Reincarnation special.
Not as something that should happen immediately, or any time soon, but merely as a possibility for when he is ready to retire. We can give him a new life and a new identity, no strings attached, so long as he doesn't allow himself to be killed by old age.
Honestly, I dislike 'do you want another life?' handed out like candy.
Sure, adding that in. That said, I don't see why people are so curious about it. Wizard is strictly better.I beg I plead I implore.
@Duesal for the love of all that is holy, ask permission to be told how the silver eye class progresses. We needed permission last time. Just call it curiosity if the Sealord asks.
Please.

And he's one of the few allies that hasn't made us want to tear our hair out at some point. The Pondmaster was our first friendly power for a very long time, and has been our ally longer than anyone except a few actual party members.
Offering him Reincarnation isn't quite the same as some random asshole off the street.
It's added in. I can almost promise you that the knowledge will be underwhelming, though.I don't want to know the how. Just the what. A basic class discription. If you can make that obvious that we don't seek the means, mearly knowledge of what they can do?

Now, accepting our version of life extension includes dying. As such, we are offering a new life, not the continuation of an existing one (hello Yss, how's it going with rebirth?).You have discussed magical life extension to the Sealord before and his reaction was not positive, pointing out that his position is for life and it is not something he would wish to spend centuries doing.

Did he just ask which city is next on our list?"Welcome, my friend," the Sealord clasps your hand as an equal, not bothering with the formality of bows. "A drink? Would you prefer a Lyseni vintage or a Myrish one?"
"I'm still pondering the matter, Serenity," you answer,

@Amrelath, since DP was so specific as to tell us that tge Sealord aants to know about its nature, he probably knows already by Divination and wants to see if we tell him the truth.
Which I have zero problems with either way. He is one of the very few people we know that is trustworthy and level-headed enough to not go into histrionics over random nonsense.
@DragonParadox, would the Sealord be interested in reincarnation after his stint as the Sealord is done? He'd be free of responsibility and the headaches of ruling, and we could give him a great deal if he wants to start up as something else.
He could even study magic if he wanted.
