Damn. It. All.
This whole debacle barely covers making a Heart Tree for Tyrosh.
Fffffffffuuuuuuuuu-

Ya'll need to chill a bit on the sacrifice train. DP has outright said that there were Daemons and cultists captured in other parts of the city, and we know Irony got at least a few of them.

We will have plenty of shit to sacrifice, if not enough to raise a whole orchard of Heart Trees.

It's not all bad. Annoying as this is, Vee's group has actually been diligently collecting sacrifices for us. We need to give them all rewards after this.

According to DP that was "cultists and quite a few lesser daemons".
If we trap them in a stone box, we can keep them contained until Amrelath's Control Undead SLA refreshes.
Oh. Perfect. Let's do that, then.

I was confused about that. Irony has petrified sacrifices... except now he's in a vial? Vee can't do that, only Viserys and Lya can, and neither have seen Irony all day. How'd she do it?

Are we gonna chase after him in the sky?

Wait Amrelath, come back even though I just saw you off and also the invasion is still ongoing, and we've both got places to be and lives and profit relying on that.

Plus I do not believe DP will make it that easy, he allowed those spirits to escape Smoky Confinement, I think a storm of shrapnel can break out of stone.

Stone only has hardness 10 I think. The bonestorms can break out

We need to be carrying hardened adamantine boxes next time

Is there a spell we can Blood Wish to increase hardness? If not, then we should just get this out of the way and sacrifice them back home. Bloodraven might reward us with crafting materials.

I'm mostly a bit salty disappointed that we didn't get all Thanadaemons, really.

Caster is a good catch, though.

We probably should use our standard brainmelting protocols to get every bit of his master's lore from him, though.

I'm still salty we didn't do that to Tiamat priests we captured.
Those guys were sure to hold some priceless secrets of Valyria.

It's disappointing, yeah. :( That said, it's not like we won't keep the skull of the master. We've got this guy and the cultist from Azel's omake, two prime skulls for the collection. Not a bad haul at all.

As for the Tiamat priest... we did interrogate them. I'm confused about why you're salty about them, because you could have suggested anything you wanted as a question and we would have had no reason at that point to say no. Hell, you were even with me when I pushed for feeding them to Yss and permakilling them.

Ya'll making sense is kind of a bummer.

I really don't like the idea of leaving Tyrosh, mid-battle, when the lives of Legion soldiers and PC companions could be on the line, in order to sacrifice three Bonestorms on the off chance that we get something for them. Crafting materials just don't hold the same value for us as they once did, @Duesal.

  • [X] Plan Thanks, but no thanks.
-[X] Tell Amrelath to destroy the Bonestorms.
--[X] We will pay him in gold for the Bonestorms, but only at 50% of the normal value based on their CR, due to his inability to control them for more than a short period of time.
-[X] Speak to the Red Priests
--[X] Thank the priests for offering to help, but order them to keep their forces contained in their temple. We have kept the city from descending into an orgy of chaos and death through meticulous planning and well established lines of communication. The Fiery Hand would not be briefed on our plans, nor have access to our methods of communication, and we do not wish for them to be set upon by any of our forces who might mistake them for enemies. They can rest assured that the institution of slavery will be abolished in Tyrosh within hours.
-[X] Go help one of the other groups after speaking to the Red Priests.
    [X] Plan Focus
    -[X] Let Amrealth keep them.
-[X] Go speak with the Red Priests.
--[X] Thank them for offering to help, but decline. We've always fought against slavery, they can rest assured we are bringing freedom for all. Unfortunately, the sudden influx of troops might cause chaos, so we'd rather they stay out.
    [X] Let Amrelath continue
[X] Speak to the Red Priests
-[X] Tell them that their aid is unnecesary to secure the city and that you already plan on freeing the slaves, that much should be clear.
-[X] Ask if his men know of any places that requieres particular protection, or if he has any advice on how to proceed so that more lives can be saved, we could use his local knowledge.

Well, that's that then. I don't have it in myself to care anymore. There are other sacrifices.

@Goldfish Just destroy them. They can't be used as ritual fodder, and they're a pain in the ass to contain. This is why we usually always sacrifice shit in turtle form.

Amy will destroy them himself, in meanwhile they are useful.

The choice is between talking and helping, so far, it looks like they don't really need help, and avoiding more credit stealing sounds good.

Uh, that's basically my plan. Except I'm going to have us assist one of the groups.

That part was only after thread decided that we can't hold them mind-controlled and/or under a lot of debuffs, while dictating their knowledge to dragonpens, though.
I disagreed then, I disagree now. For all it would've been trouble, it would've been worth it.

@Goldfish, god damn it, it's like this whole campaign made to conjure undue amounts of salt in my veins.
Is there really no way to contain them, at all?
