@Duesal does House Royce have a Valyrian sword to their name? If not could we give them one/a magical sword in general?
Yep. They had Lamentation, a Valyrian Steel sword supposedly acquired during the Andal Invasion, but lost in the Dance of the Dragons.

We can give them a magical weapon, but right now we're posing as merchants, so it's a tad expensive as an opening gift. We can certainly do so later in the trip, though.

Fair enough, still will want to give them one in future, like after they swear to help us or something as something of a symbolic gift.

That they will hopefully help us drive Andals from their mountains also fits well.

Armory, I guess since it's a common item?

And didn't have the Smith a ring? I"d bet he was a Wizard.
Yeah, the smith had a ring. He had the lesser star of Sallosh, the Artificer's Gloves, and two Rings. We should ask what the second ring was.

Also yeah, he was totally a wizard. We found out his spellbook is locked away in a secret chest.

Edit: I think the second ring was the Ring of Greater Resistance.

I'm still hoping for an excuse to kill Lyn Corbray and then hand over Lady Forlorn to the Royces. The symbolism is strong there, since the last Royce to hold Lady Forlorn was High King of the First Men of the Vale.

Actually the sword House Royce acquired in the Andal Invasion was Lady Forlorn, which was seized by House Corbray after the Battle of the Seven Stars, Lamentation was acquired at an unknown later date.

There is an excuse, Baelish's comments heavaly imply he's a paedophile, we just need to learn it IC.

We've got our personal crusade. The Seven-worshipping houses in the Vale will be hit the hardest anyway. The fight against us and we strip them of their nobility. No way will they even think to make peace. We are against everything they believe to be right.

That isn't an excuse. The point of an excuse is that it should make everyone else accept his death and the end of his house. Being a paedophile is messed up, but it isn't grounds to lose your castle and heirlooms worth more than your life.
Now that is circumstancial evidence of him being fucked up and we could use it to paint him in a bad light and justify other rumours...

We can make an excuse very easily. This isn't going to be our biggest concern. It's more an issue of timing and the political landscape.

In the society Viserys is creating it's grounds to be put to death I think, so the question is whether he has heirs to inherit his castle.

Well... While I do agree with Vyserys, I must remind you that deep social change (such as changing valued and priorities) takes a while. As in, generations. Doing this without raising an outcry sounds complicated.

To be fair, he might not be pedophile.

Could just be gay and into relativly young guys.
I don't think Baelish mentioned children.

Better find out before acting.

Or get him by his other vices, like provoking him into a duel and killing him then.

Lyn Corbray doesn't have a castle. That would be his older brother, Lyonel Corbray. Lyn is just a knight who got his hands on Lady Forlorn for his valor at the trident, where he killed Lewin Martell.

House Corbray is one I identified as a potential Seven scapegoat, since the Graftons are likely to still harbor loyalist sympathies, and their history is just as drenched in blood.

We might want to just hold onto the Ring of Clarity in case we stumble across a headband upgrade for Lya.

The Greater Ring of Resistance could go to any number of people. I would favor someone who is often gone from SD long enough that their Persistomancy has a chance to expire.

Maybe Maelor? He has piss poor saving throw bonuses.

Baelish said he paid Lyn's bribes in "gold and promises and boys", I think that's fairly good grounds to suspect such a thing.

It's too little to go off of. I mean, you could describe Robert's whores as "girls" and the people in text often do describe whores that way. A young 20 year old male prostitute would also be called a "boy." We shouldn't assume such convenient crimes to fall into our laps.

It would be easier and more convenient to simply push House Corbray to align against us and with the Arryns. We have enough animosity against them and IC incentives (we do need to crush some Andal houses), I would think, to do so.

Yeah, it's not going to be difficult to conveniently find them on the other side of the war.
