Huh.
It just occured to me that once we capture Illyrio we're going to have a list of questions not unlike that of Bloodraven's to ask of him.
Really, we should start compiling it right now!
We have 2 clerics to torture/mind-wham into telling us about any and all tactical and strategical movements on Golden Cloaks' and Tiamat's part.
The sooner we get the info - the better, really.

Now, that I think about it...
@Everyone is there a way for us to make these clerics spill some sweet sweet ancient valyrian lore to us? They all had very different positions and could cover for blanks Malarys won't be able to answer.

I'm actually at a loss on how to interrogate the clerics. Before we had brainmelting, but now that's gone. @Artemis1992, how hard is it to Dominate a cleric?
 
Shame we don't have Greater Bestow Curse yet. But yeah. A dark, warded hole, a bunch of curses, the Lawful Evil Inquisitor and all the mind rape spells we have available. Sounds like a good time.

We've got the Dark Genie's staff which has Greater Bestow Curse, but I'm hesitant to expend the limited charges here when other means are perfectly satisfactory.
 
Bestow Curse to reduce WIS and saves.
Together with that judgement thing Vee does.
Then Mind Fog from Shadow Enchantment to completly tank mental resistance.

Then Mind Prope so we can get answers without them betraying Tiamat in case that might cause a lockdown/Trance/curse.

Then Dominate to get a more complete story than just direct answers to questions.

All with Malarys waching, using his Sense Motive and Discern Lies.
 
I think that taking a day or two out of our schedule will be totally worth it to get lore and secrets of ancient Valyria out of them. I mean, we can't make Malarys do nothing but dictate valyrian law to dragon pen and note any places of worth, but these two? They're fair game.
Really, between shadow-weaver, Malarys and a battlecleric we are sure to get a ton of good leads to ancient stashes and ton of good books/lore for our library.

    --[X] Ask if dragons have been successfully hatched or not
    -[X] Have him confess everything that has been done in dealing with fiends and undead and any other major crimes he has committed in his time as a sellsword.
