"If one of my kin becomes a familiar for long enough, we have a better chance of growing in magic once the wizard who took us in is dead." The little thing shifted its feet. "We live a lot longer than you, sorry for mentioning it."

You know I'd call that creepy if it wasn't for that last bit.

"I'll get some great shit when you die, but I'm willing to wait for natural causes because your kind dies pretty damn quickly."

We traded with the Brazen Throne, who are way worse than the Opaline Vault, we will trade with the Opaline Vault gladly, and we will take mercenary contracts against the Brazen Throne from them as well, because taking down the Brazen Throne, is way higher priority than ending slavery in the Opaline Vault, if we ever become stronger than the Opaline Vault, then we can begin to use political pressure to have them stop using slavery, but we will probably never outright go to war against them, not because we don't believe their form of slavery is wrong, but because their slavery is benignt enough, that there's thousands of policies, that are the greater evil compared to the Opaline Vault.

We will trade with anyone we aren't currently actively at war with, trading with them however, don't mean we wont conquer or kill them in the future, it just mean they have things we want, and we currently can't afford to take them by force.

Our trade fleet trade with the Free cities, that don't mean we don't plan to conquer them in the next decade, all policies that practice slavery or other such vile practices, are on the list of places to be conquered, if we can't talk them into changing voluntarily.

The Opaline Vault is technically on the list too, but it's very much technically, because there's so many higher priority targets on the list, so for now we occasionally work for the Opaline Vault, because they pay well, and their contracts pit us against people far higher on the list than the Opaline Vault are.
So do we plan on conquering Braavos?

"How did you get here little fellow?" she asked the golden-furred puppy which greeted her excitedly.

dawwww

"Nope, I've got more 'mportant stuff to do," the puppy answered. "I wanna become your familiar."

dawwwwwwwwwwwwwww

"If one of my kin becomes a familiar for long enough, we have a better chance of growing in magic once the wizard who took us in is dead." The little thing shifted its feet.

da- The fuck did he just say?

Fucking fey

"Not like that, silly."The strange hound huffed on amusement. "If one of my kin becomes a familiar for long enough, we have a better chance of growing in magic once the wizard who took us in is dead." The little thing shifted its feet. "We live a lot longer than you, sorry for mentioning it."

Is this a problem with our companions, they certainly aren't going to have a normal lifespan.

Anti-Slavery Dany incoming, they signed up for a human's lifespan of service and we've changed the terms to indefinitely.

There are certain perks to indefinite terms of fealty...

This is another case of "It's for your own good, now stop resisting!" isn't it?

Blink dog from PF has quickened dimension door at will.

Charge. Shocking grasp bite. Quickened dimension door away.

Make them suffer.

So does anyone have any ideas of punishment we might want to give to the lannisters once we beat them? especially prince douchebag justin beaber Joffrey?

Leila having the kind of security that a big friendly (teleporting) guard dog would bring is great for her. I'm pretty excited about this development. Mmmm, marriage is going to be tricky for her, since too many men would see it as an opportunity to gain a noble name themselves. Just need to marry her and then assert your rightful place as her husband, etc.

Not sure how to get her a dating pool of the right sorts, really.
