So, if we commission from our Mage-Smiths to enchant a fabricated Reinforced Aegmented Fullplate, to +1, we want one for:
- Dany (Mithril) - Will need Lya time for a Wildling Clasp (400 IM) and maybe Glammered (270 IM).
- Tyene (Mithril) - Lya time for Glammered.
- Vee (Mithril) - Lya time for Glammered.
- Bronn (steel)

And for shields:
- 5x +1 Extreme Shield, will need 1700 IM in Lya time for Animated.

The Runic Crest is a shield, right? Because then we can equip Richard and Dany with the two made this turn.

@Goldfish, if you want just +1 Armor, we can flat out buy them in SD. Given that we are King Awesome and can pay the smith in steel, we might even get them for free.

Yep. We have mage-smiths for all of our +1 weapon, armor, and shield needs. And that's a great idea about paying them with steel.

Large quantities of high grade steel would b of great worth to blacksmiths who normally have to work with low grade stuff that can barely be considered steel. We could easily afford to overpay them, too, once we get the smelter up and running.

Need a +1 sword? Pay for it with 250 IM worth of steel.

Your grace, I've heard from Commander Pyke, but truth be told did not expect you to return so soon..."
Ah, diplomancing was already in effect. :)

Anyway, here's roughly everything we have to do. My computer's about to die, so whoever makes a plan please make sure you get to all of this stuff.

1. Introduce ourselves as Viserys Targaryen, King in the Stepstones.
2. Let the Night's Watch gawk over the Children of the Forest.
3. Tell the Night's Watch that we're well aware of the rising threats Beyond the Wall and have no intention to leave them without aid. Also confirm any fears that they might have--the Long Night is coming.
4. Dany & any other party members we teleport to the Wall hand out magical healing for free.
5. We brief the Night's Watch on everything we currently know about the Others--that the Wall can hold them back through the might of its magic, that the Others can be slain with dragonglass and dragonsteel.
6. We give the Night's Watch lots of gold.
7. We promise them aid in weapons, armor, supplies, and manpower, and that we will bury them in dragonglass.
8. We speak with Aemon, have our family reunion, copy their library as much as we can.
9. We give them a diluted version of our legendary map--geographically accurate, but without the magical ruins marked or the rewards and enemies therein.
10. We bring up the matter of the giants, the wildlings, and the bear spirit. Bottomline, the giants and wildlings need to be somewhere south of the Wall before the Long Night. We can handle the details on that end.

I had to badger you quite a bit about it, but aren't you glad that Lya is currently finishing that very same fountain of steel? ;)

Yeah, 6000 legion soldiers for 30,000 a month? Sounds insane, even more so for our magical logistics. 2 IM per month and 1 for supply seems more reasonable.

Given that we are talking about the bottomless void of the PoA, we should only take people who can fly on their for a long time.
Viserys, Dany, Lya pretty much.

The wight can craft for Lya just fine while she is gone.

Wrights need daily attention in order to craft, IIRC.

Also, while flight helps immensely on the Plane of Air, gravity is subjective, so once you get the hang of it, you can fall in whatever direction you desire.

Looks like just under 6 centuries, which is a lot better than I was expecting.

Well some of those people are also fit to train others so you would probably get to 2000-2500.

That seems slightly high, given our population. 1500, along with our sailors is pretty much as close to a total mobilization as you can get, unless a lot of our immigration is being shunted directly into legion recruitment.

Dragonscale Cloak, and it normally only costs 500 IM.

Also should commission a +1 Bastard Sword and +1 Kuhkri for Bronn, alongside basic package of PfE, Earring, Healing Belt.
Bronn is in line to get that Enchanted Mithral Bastard sword that we've got sitting in our armory. We can give that to him for now then equip him with a better weapon later on.

Also, Bronn's preference is a Bastard Sword and a dirk, not a Kuhkri.

Your population is set to grow in those months, including fighting men of various sorts who need less training then raw recruits.

"Many are the perils that magi walk, and one is for our companion to speak" -> Imply magical peril from Rhaella speaking.

And the nights watch are definatly being smart. Brillant.

Shall we get asking for a meeting straight away, we don't really have time to hang about?

One thing we should really do is run damage control in eastwick from the ranger hearing our promise to evacuatr the weak wildlings.

I think getting our companions settled safely in the tower, and then having a meeting with the Lord Commander and his officers would be best.

We are openly advertising that we are recruiting people, keeping them well fed, giving them equipment worthy of a Lord, paying them good and offering one hell of a retirement package.

Who would you rather join? The Legion or some unwashed horde that gives you a pointy stick, an armor that at least five people already died in and tells you to fight well if you want another hot meal?

I don't think DP would have time for another update. So probably speech time.

Also, have to go about my plans on this work leave of mine.
Delegating to a random active poster by the roll of a dice....

*whistles*

2000-2500 is far beyond my most hopeful estimates, we really are a boom town. Some we will want to deploy so our own keep is finally properly garrisoned, and to watch over our other holdings, but that should be a solid 20 centuries, or 2 companies and 2 centuries change at minimum (rather, a bit more, since a century only needs 77 combat troops, since they don't need to bring their auxiliaries/support staff for an operation like Tyrosh).
