Not much on the Lannisters and Baratheons? Kinda surprised.

I'm not. If there is one thing he'd keep to himself, it's the whole Lannister bastard children secret, because the very knowledge is dangerous. As soon as it gets out, the war starts, and Bloodraven recognizes that we're not ready yet. It's also more plausible if other mouths propose it, instead of ours. So rather than burden us with that knowledge (when someone might try to read our minds, or we tell someone else in our inner circle and they have a slip of the tongue, etc.), he'll keep it to himself until the time is appropriate. It's sensible infosec. That certainly counts as "need to know," and while he has growing respect and affection for us, he's not going to suddenly start deferring to our judgement in his area of expertise.

So, all "Strategical rumors, courtesy of Bloodraven" will come in a rumor-post later? I can live with that.
Though I hope that at least once we'll have gotten the full info from the source, no bullshit misinterpretation included.

By the way, I gleefully claim credit for this idea. :D
Then Dany asks something that had been much on your mind. "If it is safe for the clansmen of the Mountains of the Moon to possess mages beholden to the Old Gods, then might the same be said for us? After all, the connection would hardly be any more obvious than the Heart Trees grown by bloody sacrifice already make it. I ask because I know of two girls, twins born of an old Volantine family, who can speak to each other in their mind across any distance, and they can hear the voices of the gods."

"Is there anything special about these children besides the obvious?" the ancient sorcerer rasps.

"They are pale of skin and eye," you reply after a moment's thought.

"Odd..." The word is so soft you almost do not hear it, and for the barest moment his attention is elsewhere. "Perhaps they have some affinity. Bid them to spend time near a heart tree. I make no promises save that they will not be harmed by it."
I am going to love whatever this turns out to be.

You know I was expecting Bloodraven to throw us under the bus at a drop of the hat, some lingering doubts and suspicions but instead we find that he loves this granuncle role he has found himself in. You can tell from the updates their is family affection and concerned care when he talks to Dany and Viserys.

He has his own agenda but he's not the cryptic stone cold only in it for himself bastard I was expecting. I dare say he just likes speaking with Dany and Viserys just for thier company as well as the impotent stuff. Though maybe to Bloodraven being able to interact in person with the children he has you could say guided and watched over for years is important in of itself.
I imagine that if you were stuck in a Tree for a couple hundred years, stuck with nothing but Gods screaming in Vengeance in your head and some very long winded fey for company, forced to watch your family slowly crumble as you do a proxy war against the enemies of all who live across the entirety of a continent, known only as a cautionary tale against Bastards.

Then, you have people, blood, who come to you, talk to you.
Seeking information, yes, but also making jokes, talking of history, treating you as a person rather than a Seer.
People who were talking to Brynden Rivers, not Bloodraven.

I imagine that would make you quite happy, and much more willing to cooperate instead of being a "stone cold Bastard (ha)"

I suppose, just this once, I shall have to agree with the Magpie.
I'll try not to make a habit of it :V

Does anyone have any improvements to the vote? Any insights or offers we should make to the Children?
I suppose you could offer them the chance to visit the Feywild?

It sounds like Westeros Pre-First Men was a lot closer to how the Feywild is, with everything changing seemingly at random and nothing being truly "real".
Perhaps the Children who remember those days would be enticed by such as offer?

Other than that, we don't really know much about what the Children want, and thus I'm not sure how we would go about convincing them.
You're plan seems as good a way as any.

That's a good offer, we could give them the chance to visit other planes as they desire.

We still need to get Velen to the Plane of Fire, btw.

All shall be one with the Magpie, in time.

THUS IT WAS WRITTEN!

THUS IT SHALL BE!

ALL HAIL TO THE MIGHT OF THE BLESSED CROWBAR!

THE HOUSE OF DU ESAL SHALL RISE UPON A HOST OF STOLEN GLORIES!

AVE CORVIDAE! AVE CORVIDAE! AVE CORVIDAE!
This might be starting to get away from me. Send help.

Though the Children live long by he messure of man it is nowhere near that long. The only ones likely to remember the Dawn Age are the very oldest part of the gestalt mind of the Old Gods.

@Duesal I demand you add a big thank you and a hug for our great^x grandpa/uncle/whatever he is to us

Ah, so they aren't immortal or anything?

Actually, on the subject, what is the physiology of the Children?
Like, how do they age, reproduce, how long does it take for them to grow "of age", and so on?

We might as well ask while we're here, so long as we can phrase it in a way that isn't creepy of course :V

Also, @DragonParadox, truly and sincerely, thank you for tolerating the massive list of questions and answering them to the best of your ability. We really do appreciate it, and this stuff is all going to be insanely useful to us in the future. This trip did not disappoint. Not one bit. :D
