Selyse is still kinda terrible, but she's smart enough to put two and two together, for which I'm glad. I was also getting worried when it was veering towards the seven.

I'm just glad we got around to healing Shireen. I would have been pissed if the Cleric of the Maiden beat us to it, just like Garth the Green beat us to healing Willas Tyrell.

I never thought I would have a surge of fondness for Selyse Baratheon of all people, but when she proved clever enough to figure out what happened and thus prevented our credit from getting stolen by the Seven, she jumped way up in my books.

Know what, should stuff the echo of Meraxxes into Aebys. Maybe it will increase a size category or two and... what was Meraxxes god of again? :V

Edit: I recon we will hear a rumour abouta strange grinding noise heard echoing on the Narrow Sea. That will be Stannis when he hears what Dany did without asking for permission or anything. :p

What are we doing with the rest of our prisoners, or are we just waiting for Stannis to get settled in at home so he can pay the ransom?

How about the arcanums... mechaLyas visit the wall and help Aemon?

There is a huge library there, and many old castles. Plus a really old Targaryen to ask questions, and the wards of the wall are worth studying too.

Fun, independance, and Aemon gets some much needed company.

Oh the pain. The pain!!

We got something better than half the fleet, we probably got at least a full favor from Stannis.

Also I really hope that Robert still dies in this quest, otherwise all those plans and aliances that are waiting for him to kick to bucket will go down the drain, and we can't even kill him ourselves otherwise the whole thing won't work. At most we need someone that not only can assassinate him for us, but will never, even under threat of True Death, will spill the beans.

I wouldn't be too bitter... we're looting the Rock down to the nails when the time of reckoning is finally at hand. And like as not, that'll probably recover some of what they STOLE THAT RIGHTFULLY IS OURS along with their vaaaast, exorbitant wealth.

Bah, their treasury wasn't even enough to pay the 12,000 IM ransom. Getting Stannis in our debt is worth so much more than whatever pittance of gold they could offer up.

Also, I just like Shireen. I would have voted to heal her even without any form of tangible reward.

How much is an IM in Dragons again?

For the purposes of the quest, Iron Marks, Golden Dragons, Volantine Honors, etc, are all the same value. GRRM left an absolute mess of a currency to deal with, so DP just gave up and made all the gold currencies the same value.

Also, one gold coin in the quest is worth 5 gp from D&D.

One could make an argument that we do all of our monetary calculations using the IM as a base because it is the coinage that fluctuates the least and weathers inflation the best.

We then just abstract the relative value of other coinage against the worth in GP, then convert into IMs.
