Why?

His CL for Shocking Grasp is 13, which fully translates into dice, useable even vs Mindflayers SR, just using Quickened True Strike or Critical Strike his full attack is also extraordinarily lethal.

He can also kill things very dead with Lightning Lance or Whirling Blade or kill a lot of things fairly dead with Channeled Shocing Grasp.

I want to give him +3 for his Bronze Plate for his knighthood.

Quick question what are our actual long term priorities at the moment and how are we planning on achieving them, this may already have been stated and if so can someone link me the post?

We used the wish to get the tower.
DnD type resurrection has, for most of the spells, the 'must not have died of natural reasons (aka old age)' clause. To circumvent that you need divine intervention.

Who do we take with us? Waymar is a given, Richard as well, Tyene?

Lya has better stuff to do and Dany wouldn't make the right impression, nor would Vee.

I'd rather hold off on going to see Waymar's father. Molten Skies is still top priority after all this is over, and like TNE said I want an appropriate gift for Waymar's knighthood.
 
Question, what is the name of the mind powers Mindflayers naturally use?

What will we do if we encounter people with powers of the mind like that?

Psionics. And we already have encountered people with such powers. The possessed twins we rescued from Volantis and brought back to Sorcerer's Depp are psionically gifted.
 
I wonder if this might lead to meeting the Mountain Clans that are causing ruckus in Vale.

While were at it, lets try to get in touch with the mountain clans. Also the Skagosi bard, if he's still alive.

But yes, after Molten Skies and before the Mindflayer extermination.
 
If we're gonna give Waymar +3 armor, do we want to go with a full +3 Enhancement bonus, or maybe go +2 with a +1 special ability? I've kind of gotten attached to him in the Armor of the Forsaken One.

If his new armor also had the Spell Storing special ability, he could load it up with one of his monster Shocking Grasp spells for maximum carnage on whatever manages to strike him. I think that might be worth one less point to AC?

With the amount of gold we now have we probably need to replan the entire wish list. Especially after the loot we get from the Mindflayers and the Sellsword war.
