i feel like young Lydia will fit right in with the fleshforgers in Gogogoss when she get's some proper safety prcedures stamped into her head and maybe lvls a bit more. only lvl 5 and she made a wholly unique species of rat with an extra ordenary ability to boot.
Or we could make Maelor the Secretary of Pest Control, and Lydia his junior minion so that he can farm out most of the work.

Clearly we must call on Yss to release an unreasonable number of slightly magical snakes into our sewers to combat the vermin.
Next year we can then import fleshforges gorillas to hunt down the snakes.
And the winter after that we will ensure extremly cold weather to kill off all the remaining gorillas.

Wow first we had a fresh off the boat knight going for a drink with his new clerk friend and now a Scholarium student accidently making a magic rat infestation. Is today just going to be Sorcerer's Deep Slice of Life? Because that sound wonderful!
I will cry tears of joy if it ends with all the characters meeting up in a tavern and forming an adventuring party. We already have Lydia the Wizard and Loric the Fighter two or three more character and you have got a full party! Maybe Daenar will feel the call to adventure and go from mild mannered clerk to badass adventurer once find out about his ancient Sarnori family legacy?

Also I imagine her Troop would LOVE some nice duplicating rat flesh. I would think Doppelrats would make for a lovely self replenishing food source...
Ooooooh, cheap meat for those in poverty.... Why, with doppelrats ability to replicate it might even work as subsidized meals for those who would otherwise starve.
Yeah, rat wouldn't be the best tasting but it would be meat and filling which is more than they otherwise would get.

well i don't know about Teana but i am very happy about this little dubblerat infestation if only for all this conversation. plus they are very cute. yes that doesn't help with the problem but i certainly understand why she made them. they are also just very cool
