Why woud giving the Azure the ability to pop out anywhere in the Reach be a boon to us at this piont?

Maybe (big MAYBE) in a few years when we have a working relationship and there has been soom trustbuilding between us and the Fey, then we could look into that plan for a quicker reaction-time against teleporting threats.

It doesn't, it is blatantly something they can leverage to retain control on the Reach in a wider aspect in some sense, one of the abilities they previously had access to was essentially convenient Fast Travel.

That's a lot of undue influence.

Granted, this is something I want knowledge of. We could exploit it ourselves for the Imperial Deity.

The idea was that it would bind the Azure closer to the material realm and condition the Opening of the Ways to swearing to Viserys (or at least get some sort of privileged alliance).

Wait. They want to haggle an alliance, with one of the terms of that being full, unrestricted and de facto privileged access for them to waltz around in the Reach whenever and wherever they please.

And they think they would get rewarded for that?
 
I just realized that unless theirs magical fast travel is really fast it's already obsolete since we have train which only need infrastructure and is planar-fuckery free

They always did have more ambition than sense. Hopefully the generation after them is wiser.
 
The Tyrells don't know our plans for partition. They assume that it will just be like it was before with a single house ruling a massive part of the continent. So they are trying to not have treason charges drop on their asses and try to use it as a sort of bribe to not revoke or some shit?

Oh, that's the best part. They do know. We told them they're losing basically everything except Highgarden and the lands immediately around it.
 
Sometimes the best path forward is to shut up and sit down. Stop trying to play the game Tyrells, not when you just barely got off our shit list.
 
i really hope margaery Tyrell is better than her family by being tutored by the other adventuring party for the last few months/year. becouse dear lord they just don't know when to put down the cards

We are not having a fay court having fast travel in our empire. Unless it is through the Imperial Diety, or under our full control.
