[X] As a dear friend embracing her legacy in the hopes of forging a brighter future

We should probably give some amount of explanation on the lore behind what happened to the old winter. As long as we don't directly address the others it shouldn't be a problem, and we have nothing to gain by concealing that information.

It's not clear to me how much detail about her legacy that option will actually get into, but letting people know at bare minimum that winter used to be normal, was corrupted by something unnatural, and is still redeemable despite its current fuckery will make it easier for the Rhollrists to swallow the idea that she isn't Satan's granddaughter.

On the topic of Rina, @Goldfish can we get her a steady supply of Urea? If possible a slotless Robe of Voidfrost would be nice too. A combined bonus of +2 CL for all effects to cold spells is worth considering at least.

Legacy is plying she had fey blood or otherwise fey conections and became fey, like Viserys became a dragon from becoming dragon-blooded.

That's propably even true.
I mean, between her becoming an Undead through the Others and her uncle inheriting the legacy of some First Men warlorld from the Others in that grave we shook up, I suspect her family might really have some relation in blood or magic to the old winter fey.

But does it get into how winter fey weren't always omnicidal, and that she's a throwback instead of an out and out Other-blooded fey? I just wanted to make sure we weren't going to keep Winter's secrets for it when we stand to benefit more by divorcing the winter fey and the great other from each other in the eyes of the R'hllorists here.

Most people do not really know what a winter fey is. It's more like old legends and creeping dread, when the cold and dark comes fire be thy friend and eyes of ice take heed and warning. People like the Thenns who would know more of the full story have been warned in detail.

It's one thing to seek out individual lords and show them the threat of Winter, but for our full court I'd prefer a grander stage to make that big reveal. Preferably post conquest when we can gather the lords of Westeros in the Imperial Palace and have a gigantic council where we inform them of the various threats we're shielding them from, and where they fit into the picture.

For now, introducing Rina as a trusted friend is perfectly alright.

Imma slep now y'all.
Don't be tempted by DP, he got corrupted by Devil long ago.

finish all the reports and MAs first, then do Qohor.
plz.

I wonder if some wild unaligned fey will start coming up to Rina asking for chance to join her count, if only for bragging rights of being first winter fey in thousands of years.

Actually, @DragonParadox, can I have Progress/Cost numbers on:
A) Lya halping Zathir to reforge Anu-Sim's Hammer?
B) Us doing a breakthrough and getting steam trains?

Adding to this @DragonParadox, while Zathir said it's a bit difficult for gods to cooperate on projects like this, the Old Gods in particular have demonstrated talented in repurposing artifacts via runelore. See Rina's blessed mace which used to be Baelor's before we sacrificed him for the nearest example. Are we correct to assume that they at least would be able to help even if other gods end up not being able to?

Gunpowder is not something I would like to introduce. Steam power is more unique, so assumethe laws of physics are subtly different and gunpowder cannot fire.
That's way beyond "subtly different". The existence of a gunpowder like substance is pretty much guaranteed under any laws of physics vaguely capable of supporting solid planets. Also, we got Explosive Packs, which are functionally the same and pretty clearly a thinly veiled gunpowder analogue.

Also, I feel the gunpowder ban is a bit silly when we got explosives fired from cannons already. At this rate, I'm mainly not caring since we are way beyond simple firearms in many respects, the one exception being small arms, where we still need to do some research.

I believe this is misguided, the principles behind guns are already replicable with what we currently have. Black powder was used as a blasting agent, and with alchemy I'm leaving less doubts that a more stable one with less residue is possible to create too.

It's a bit of a moot point, I'm just saying that we have already broken most of the social implications over our knee and spread their ashes across an entire continent when it comes to what firearms did to Europe. So far around the bend that it will really take time for it to sink in.

Explosive Packs are already a somewhat superior gunpowder. The downside is that you need a solid casing for the liquid, since it explicitly reacts with air, but at the same time, it doesn't separate as gunpowder does, so those casings are viable.

Which means it's basically liquid cordite for all intents and purposes, neatly outperforming 700 years worth of gunpowder obnoxiousness.
