Aight.
So,
1) one Moonchaser; Hadhayosh, Amy and Bloom for full turn assigned to halping Mel.
2) Free action from them all to burn Qohor.
3) Some sacrifices throw at R'hlor at the start of the month. @DragonParadox, you gotta give us his rules for sacrifices now tho.

Sounds enough to y'all?

That could work, though they would have to reorganize the attack around it, It would probably take longer to smash the palace open like that.
It would take longer, but at the same time that guarantees preserving quite a few more of R'hllor's forces which I think he'd prioritize if he had the option.

Potentially Viserys being called for the throne room fight if we have time, but yeah, more or less.

I'd also toss in the Harbinger and as many Heralds as we can spare for propaganda reasons.

@DragonParadox, do we have enough Fire Mephits and other fire-immune griblies that we can record the whole operation to show the highlights in the Mirror Vision newsreel?

Probably better to use a Moonchaser to suppress minions who try to come to Ymeri's aid than attempt to attack her in the depths of her palace/dungeon/throne room.

That said, y'all seem to be forgetting that the Dauntless will be completed next month. Depending on how the action against Ymeri goes, it could be ready by the time the final assault commences.

You always kept saying that she would be finished to the end of next month, so I assumed the crafting budget is so tight that there is no leeway to have her fully operational by, say, the 15th.

Since I definitely want to hit Norvos and Qohor early in the month, and if Burny is fine with doing the assault late in the month, we might as well bring all three Moonchasers and the Dauntless and just pound Ymeris palace into a pile of rubble.

If we can coordinate with R'hllor to delay the final assault long enough for us to join in force that'd be the best of all worlds. With our direct support he could spare a lot of his own forces.

As much as I would love to gut Ymeri ourselves...we have spread ourselves way too thin. Give them the Alchemical Ice, some military support that isn't a Companion and a sacrifice that rivals the Dawn Tree. If that isn't enough then I don't know what will be.

You don't really have them, but you could hire them easily enough. Mephits are not the most sensible of beings when it comes to personal safety
Didn't we recruit a bunch of those we took as prisoners in various engagements with the Efreeti?

Eh. Doesn't matter. We just need enough to bungle together some video. Cutting it to good quality can be done later in post-production.

Viserys dropping in personally would also mean Viserys not acting against the CoS though. Let's talk about that when the turn-plan rolls around. Right now, I'm mostly brainstorming what we can spare that is not strictly necessary for something else.

It is unfortunate that we do not have the Spell Gorged Zombies. Those would be nice to drop on Ymeri. There are quite a few ice spells that would do a heavy amount of damage.

The assumption is that the enchanting and construction is drawn out over the whole month, since there is still 107,000 IM of enchanting work to be done. I was just mentioning it because there seems to be some variability in when exactly the attack will take place based on background rolls. If it doesn't take place next month, but early into the next, it could be available.

We'll see then. Bringing the entire Imperial Airfleet for this would be nice though, so that everyone gets some experience in fighting in the PoF.

Also, 700d10 HP/round worth of steam cannons should make sure we get something fancy for our efforts.

I have a question. Can that thing solo a Dragon? Like an Adult Dragon?
The 700d10 is the count for the full 3 Moonchasers and the Dauntless put together.
The Dauntless has only 40 cannons, summing up to 400d10 per round.

As fort he dragon, that depends.
A valyrian dragon? That one would be dead before it even knew what was happening. Likely getting sniped at 1km range, long before it could do anything even vaguely threatening to the vessel.
A true dragon? Depends on his known spells, how well he is informed and prepared, and what his goals are. With the right mix of spells, he could survive bombardment long enough to Teleport away, but unless you are talking Elder Wyrm, he has nothing that could breach the hull of the Dauntless before he would be reduced to ground beef.

If any of ya'll happen to live on the Gulf Coast and are in the path of Hurricane Laura, please be careful and consider running the hell away ASAP if you haven't already. She looks like a monster.
