[X] Brynden Tully, Knight of the Bloody Gate, loyal to the last

The Myrkdreki are just there for special effects and to snipe a few important people as per a hit-list put together by Dalla. They won't really have all that much time to pay attention to the main event.

You people have a seriously warped perception of what constitutes a complicated scheme...
Keep in mind my idea of complex is "wait five minutes before you set off the nuke."

You essentially set up a flesh gundam for a sentient mold to implicate an ancient eldritch evil in the murder of an old man to set up a woman to inflame the passions of the populace to lead to a riot and eventual feud between two factions in order to set the stage for a future conquest.

And it'll be done by brunch.

Christ on a bike, this scheme is so convoluted and ruthless that Palpatine would be mildly amused by it.

It's gonna be great to watch the fallout.

[X] Brynden Tully, Knight of the Bloody Gate, loyal to the last
Let's see....

1. Ser Brynden Tully dead, slain by an "Other-raised giant"
2. Lord Robyn Arryn bereft of his greatest protector
3. The knights of the Vale in a civil war
4. Lord Robyn Arryn and Lady Lysa Arryn fleeing the Eyrie
5. In wake of the Arryns fleeing, claims about of them consorting with dark fey (which is even true in Lysa's case)

Setting the stage for us to swoop in and seize the entire kingdom with minimal resistance.

It's a cruel plan. To use the death of a sibling in order to discredit and weaken a dynasty... I am impressed by the ruthlessness.

Uncle, in this case. Ser Brynden Tully is the uncle to Lady Lysa Arryn nee Tully and Grand Uncle to Lord Robyn Arryn.

With him slain (and Petyr Baelish in King's Landing unable to quickly exploit the situation without Uncle Bloodraven immediately getting tipped off), the Arryns lose their strongest supporter in the Vale and are suddenly stuck in a civil war. 👌

Cue House Royce of Runestone taking charge and marching to restore order.

Yes, but speaking of Hoster Tully. If his brother dies because of a pact (real or not) made with the Others it will end up sending the Vale into civil war and cast suspicion on every Tully as Westeros has the same understanding of magic that I do in regards to the new Yugioh Cards(Wtf is a Pendulum summon?)

A little reminder here that we gave Bloodraven the green light to dispose of old Baelish, who has outlived his usefulness.

So if he actually tries anything in response to the events in the Vale, he will likely have a very unfortunate accident.

Unless Bloodraven decides he needs to defend his Schemer Supreme title, steals the treasury in Kings Landing and then blames it on Baelish, who mysteriously disappears for a few days before being found in brothel near Oldtown with a slit throat.

What treasury? Robert's pile of debts? It isn't as bad as canon thanks to us poking the Iron Bank and telling them to quit loaning to the Baratheon/Lannister regime, but I'm not expecting anything valuable.

As for Baelish, good. Dispose of him as soon as it's convenient.

Bobby B did cut down on feasting and tourneys to focus on his mad training grind in hopes he could out-martial us, although other expenses still add up.

The treasury always has money.
It may be borrowed or already ear-marked for paying of prior mounting interest, but it still exists in the sense that it can be used to pay, or be stolen.

A medival kingdom has a different relation to money from modern states, but the fact that having red numbers in the books can't stop you from spending money remains.

Mind you that most of the money in the treasury these days is from the Lannisters. The largest pile of debts is to an entity that will disappear after the conquest, leaving us with only the IB and the Faith to pay out.

@Goldfish, bit of a side note, but for Soft Strider we should have her take a month or so to actually train the Allosaurus we got her for a mount. It'd make her a hell of a lot more effective in combat. If she has a stealth mission we can bottle it for her until she needs it.

Is there anything mechanically that needs to happen for her to take a mount, or can she just train the Allosaurus without that?

I don't think time needs to be set aside for that. Between her skills and class, it should be an automatic background action.

If anything, she should be setting time aside to refrain from a Ranger to a Mystic Ranger.
