I played Neverwinter Nights, I know exactly what you're talking about. You need to be a Commoner 10 in Faerun just to survive walking out on your farm without a full party.

And how long she's willing to wait.
Making one out of something as rare/powerful as Horalcum?[] Tinker further with Warforged and their creation.
-[] Artempt creating warforged from various materials, including but no limiting to: Mitrhil, Adamantine, Steel, Bronze, Cold Iron, etc.
-[] Have divination involved, so that no flawed or pain-inducing vessel is created inadvertedly.
--[] Steel/Bronze/Cold Iron (Progress: 10 6 when using Thinaun)
--[] Mithril (Progress: 14 10 when using Thinaun)
--[] Adamantine (Progress: 20 16 when using Thinaun)
We already had this conversation, dude. We already know how to make all those kinds of warforged. Not only have we commissioned literally hundreds of each for this month alone, examples of the proof of concept have existed for longer. And how long she's willing to wait.
Don't forget, that Warforged bodies used to be a pretty hard research topic, even considering the plentiful lore available to us, one that didn't happen only because DP decided to give Anu some agency and experiment in his free time:

Gotta take a shitload of Progress.
You misread me.We already had this conversation, dude. We already know how to make all those kinds of warforged. Not only have we commissioned literally hundreds of each for this month alone, examples of the proof of concept have existed for longer.
No, we started with the ritual that made all of the metals. You misread me.
Try again:
[] We didn't have the RAs done at some point ago.
[] DP gave Anu some agency and he researched all the stuff about the named materials in the background.
[] We made Warforged of said materials.
-[] We didn't do one for Horalcum.
[] Based on numbers we have had previously, and Horalcum's rarity/power, we can extrapolate it'll be significantly long as an RA.
Right from the start the ritual was capable of using Mithril or Adamantine or Cold Iron, etc.Sallosh's Last Gift
School: Transmutation Level 8
Casting Time: 80 minutes
Material Components: 25 lb. of Living Brass to form the core of the construct, 55 lb. of hardened steel (or other more arcane metal for bones and armor), various woods and resins totaling 150 IM for the peripheral internal structures
Blood Component: None
Required Caster: Mage with the Craft Construct feat
Secondary Casters: Up to three
Skill Checks: Craft Metal-working (DC 18) 4 successes; Knowledge Arcana (DC 22) 3 successes
Backlash: Caster becomes lightheaded as the ritual uses his own language skills to teach the newborn war-forged, the jumble of half glimpse memories means they must pass a DC 20 Concentration check to perform any task requiring intense focus over the next day. Casting Sallosh's last Gift a second time is except from this price as the ritual smoothly resonates with the lingering effect
Effect: The creation of a Warforged. All Warforged begin as level 1 fighters though unlike most other beings they find retraining this first level relatively simple.
Failure: The tortured spirits within the living brass resist the transformation damaging the caster's sanity (2d6 Wisdom Drain)

There wasn't additional research from Anu to get access to the arcane metals for Warforged, because he already achieved it.
The research @egoo is citing wasn't so much to develop more Warforged using special materials, but to remove or mitigate the failure condition if the ritual was botched somehow. A failure had pretty significant consequences. No, we started with the ritual that made all of the metals.

As a gesture of good will I'd be perfectly willing to contribute some of our Horcalcum to her body. It depends on how much she has available, and what kind of alloy she wants to make. While that is true for 'common arcane metals' something like Horcalcum qould require some work from Anu, that said it would not have to be work on your dime or your time, he does have some time to himself like everyone in your service and the Queen can pay him well for that time. I'm not going to make you guys pay for someone else's personal improvement process.
Looks like a pretty nice deal for everyone involved, IMO.[X] Significant cultural artifacts which hold no innate value past what a collector might appraise them at will be returned to their point of origin, likely for display in a local museum in the case of Imperial historical articles, or in the case of Sarnor remanded between the cities they trace the most direct point of origin to, to be discussed between those City States you have established contact with as a gesture of good will and cooperation.
[X] Magical items and artifacts found will be remanded into the custody of those who had taken the risk in claiming them, given they have strategic value, with the caveat that those items may be traded for materials or wealth of equal value, pending negotiation, if they have a point of origin for the party in question (past things like sentimental significance, they might be vital for research the polity was conducting before the Doom or be related to magics practiced in the time of legends).
[X] Material wealth (bullion, gems, rare material components and reagents) will be split evenly. More as a gesture of good will than anything else, and the fact that they will need to capital if they wish to fund soul transference on a large scale.
[X] Lay specific claim to the body and equipment of the Charnel God & the Rat King as they fell mostly by your own hand.
-[X] Negotiate with Queen Namaaru for the bulk corpses of the foes slain in battle to feed to the Forges, though of course her own dead are unquestionably hers.
She burned though all her lesser dead, because they were going to be a political liability after the campaign anyway and otherwise got 3.5% losses to the greater dead with most of them being chariots.
So with all of her Lesser Undead wipes out and 3.5% of the sentient Greater Undead destroyed, that should leave Sathar with 3,735 who need Warforged conversion.Armies of Sathar
Lesser Dead:
7000 Skeletons
5000 Skeleton Archers
Greater Dead:
2500 Greater Skeleton Warrior 3
660 Chariots (Greater Skeleton Driver and Archer; Fighter 3)
8 Bone wagons (Lesser Bone Ships CR 12)
12 High Artificers (Mummy Wizard 2/Cleric2/Theurge 6)
38 Artificers (Mummy Wizard 2/Cleric2/Theurge 4)
53 Priests of the Still Waters (Huecuva Cleric 2*)
*cast as cleric 5
DP has not yet decided on the number and kind of civilians I think? So with all of her Lesser Undead wipes out and 3.5% of the sentient Greater Undead destroyed, that should leave Sathar with 3,099 who need Warforged conversion.
Yeah, this is just the army. Who should of course take priority as the first Warforged.DP has not yet decided on the number and kind of civilians I think?
Also, every Chariot has two greater skellies, one driver and one archer, so make that about 600 more.
Yes, and I have a question: Are we going to catch the fucking Illyrio Mopatis already? I am pissed off by this character who eluded already fucking THREE TIMES!!!
Ah, thanks for the reminder. Numbers updated.DP has not yet decided on the number and kind of civilians I think?
Also, every Chariot has two greater skellies, one driver and one archer, so make that about 600 more.
Bronze would probably be the choice for all spellcasters, since it comes with the Spellcasting Prodigy feat and a +2 Charisma bonus without a level adjustment.Yeah, this is just the army. Who should of course take priority as the first Warforged.
Depending on her funds, Queen Namaaru can commission special bodies for her champions. Maybe Mithril for the mage priests, Adamantine for her better warriors, etc.
Everyone else is probably gonna be brass or steel or something.
Given what we've seen of the Sarnori Undead, both how they died, how they were raised as Undead, and how they've unlived since then, I doubt continued Undeath will be even slightly common. I also doubt the Queen will give her subjects a choice in the matter. There also remains the question how many prefer their current state over a Warforged body.
When we finish sentient undead research I want some vassal Mummy Lords to wield against the Deep Ones. This campaign has shown me Mummies can be stupidly powerful. There also remains the question how many prefer their current state over a Warforged body.
