@Goldfish Should prompt @DragonParadox for all the bounties on shapeshifter corpses people have collected off-plane over the last couple of months. For Umbral Stalker/Spy creation purposes.
Yeah, it would be helpful to churn out a bunch more Umbral Spies. We've been holding onto the last four sets of shapeshifter remains for the much more effective (and much more expensive) Umbral Stalkers, but they're complete overkill for a lot of situations.

Speaking of Umbral Stalkers, does anyone have any objection to Lya having crafted one of those during the 1st month? I held off on filling in her crafting time on the schedule in case of emergencies, but nothing came up than desperately needed her attention so she's free to have made another Umbral Stalker.

That's fine.

So for average rolls on immigration this month, Sorcerer's Deep will have almost around 200,000 inhabitants.

Half of Old Town, 2/5ths King's Landing, 1/5th Braavos and 1/6th of Volantis.

Or to look at it a different way, four times the size of White Harbor, six and a half times the size of Gulltown or about the size of Lannisport. :V

Time to share what I've been working on tonight.

Doing more math, but at the current rate of immigration, Sorcerer's Deep (the city) should break 1 million people near the start of canon, in 298 AC.

So our capital will grow essentially x5 its current size in four years. And it should be the largest city on the Plane before 300 AC.

Imagine the nightmare such a city would be if it was just allowed to grow organically in a typical medieval time period, without planning, anything but the most basic infrastructure, or building standards.

Thankfully, with plenty of undeveloped land, the advantage of being able to plan and include vital infrastructure during expansion, a bureaucracy willing and able to enforce building codes, obscene amounts of magic to bypass the most labor intensive aspects of construction, and the Hardening Chamber to render all building materials virtually indestructible to any natural forces which they may be exposed to, Sorcerer's Deep is going to be the next city to gain the nebulous title of extraplanar metropolis. It'll be a trade hub linking most of the other extraplanar trade hubs.

Add in the city-wide blessings of year round mild weather, the Keep Watch effect to remove the residents' need for sleep, the Greater Age Resistance effect to eliminate the physical infirmities associated with aging, and the Fox's Cunning effect to make everyone more intelligent and capable, and Sorcerer's Deep will be the place to be. It won't just be the wealthy who wish to live here, though. Scholars, artisans, crafters, etc., will continue to settle here, especially those devoted to their chosen vocations, since they'll be able to practice it better, for longer (in both the sense of day to day work and living longer), and for more value.

We'll probably be building magitech arcologies below ground, above it, and under the sea within a decade to account for population growth without causing overcrowding.

We'll probably be building magitech arcologies below ground, above it, and under the sea within a decade to account for population growth without causing overcrowding.

@Goldfish Not that those buildings wouldn't be useful in limited numbers for extreme weather conditions, we won't need to build arcologies for centuries even with continuous outrun population growth. You can fit a lot of people in the amount of space that makes up the island of Manhatten (about as many as will be living in SD in about six years).

SD being on a really big island, even building up and down with taller buildings and an under city, that in effect would make it take longer for arcologies to be a necessity to fit excess population.

To say nothing of the fact that we can literally just magic up some prime real estate...

Oh yeah, we could just expand the landmass if the Island gets a little too crowded can we?

I suppose there's a spell for that. But for something of such magnitude...
Keep in mind we can make skyscapers of hardened steel and glass and stone, we're going to have an expansive Undercity, and there are other islands in the stepstones to put our extra residential areas. We'll be plenty fine.

@DragonParadox, the issue is this doesn't give us much of anything to go off of. We don't have a good idea of the value of what's being offered, so we're kind of floundering in regards to how to deal fairly with them on our end. Compounded with that, this is a Fey, so we can't assume we can just buy our way out of this.
Please no non-sentient mounts and hounds, they have better ones that most of what we can craft:

The beasts and riders of the Hunt are one.
Most of what we could offer might insult them.

On the contrary, with Templates we can make all kinds of nasty business. If not sheer killiness, utility is always nice.

Not that I think we can really offer them anything they'd be interested in for mounts or warbeasts.

Now something to hunt? Hell, we could go on a trip into the jungles and grab some dinosaurs for them to tackle. They'd get a kick out of that.

That I can support, but offering them crafted hounds and horses when they have a strong bond with their already-present hunt-companions might be insulting, so I would prefer to leave that out.
