Damn, that is a really good sword. Mag Mar just got a nice taste of "in the right place at the right time".

@DragonParadox, any chance of the Giants becoming Frost Giants?

So from what i can tell the void killed most of the Cloud giants on the material plane during the sundering, something of theirs either a major figure like a king or god was killed which formed the fist of the first men, these giants are decendant from them. the giants/gods were killed beyond return but fragments of their history/knowledge remains within the memory of the westerosi giants (and maybe on other planes). this sound about right?

I think some Frost Dragon memory wiping breath induced ret-goning is in play, but the gist of it sounds about right to me.

[X] Wait for the Moonchaser and the others and then resume your march to the Wall, you are done here

I wonder if Mag Mar would like to be Reincarnated as a Frost Giant? Assuming he's in the right Racial HD range, I mean.

Probably not, but it would be a neat way to restore his youth and heritage.

Honestly that feels like cheating, if that makes sense?

Something about this blade, or rather the way it came to be, speaks of a quest.

Not one we're going to ever be a part of at that. This feels far more personal to the giants, something that we can't just slap a quick fix on.

Ah, but we can cheat. We shall deck the giants out in Bling and whatever blessings we can lay on them. As full citizens they will have the backing of the Imperium.

He would need at least three levels, I think? Depending on what chassis DP is using to reflect their stats. If they are degenerated Frost Giants specifically, then they'd presumably have the same number of HD.

I'm using hill giants with some tweaks to show their greater reliance on smell and weak vision and I got rid of the stone throwing since that does not really make sense as a universal skill. They also get resistance to cold 10 as an Extraordinary ability.

So yeah, at least 3 levels to pass the HD requirements.

But as a giant, it'd be easier to reincarnate into a different type of giant. Something to think about if any of our new giants die.

@DragonParadox, on the subject of Giants, remember that overcrowded village of Stone Giants that was vassalized to House Adjar of the Opaline Vault?

They rebelled against House Adjar and robbed their Mithril Mines, and we were sent there to slap them down (which we did, only needing to slay the rebellion leader). Afterwards we saw that they were very badly overcrowded for any Giant settlement and offered to take on any of them who were willing to come with us as either employees or citizens depending on their preferences. Around seven took us up on the offer.

Since then, once the Terminus has set up, has word spread to the various other Stone Giants? Have we gotten more immigrants there?

Stone Giants x15

To outsiders, stone giants may seem more elemental than truly alive, enigmatic beings of stony silence whose flesh seems hewn from living rock and whose demeanors are as unchanging and tough as the earth itself. Yet the chiseled faces of stone giants are flesh, not rock; their hardened bodies skin, rather than granite; and in their veins runs blood as red as any other, not sand or dust, for all their reverence of the powers of the Earth
@Duesal Actually it was over a dozen.
