@Goldfish With the twins, the fact that they have to take Int as their 14 stat hurts a bit what with Wildshape focused druids being a bit MAD.

OTOH, grab a level of Wizard next level and then Alternative Source Spell and they can start picking up Arcane Hierophant Levels and finish with Mystic Theurge (with a few levels of Druid retrained for Theurge for that sweet sweet 9th Level Divine and Arcane loadout).
I'd like to have one of them at least as a proper summon-and-buff focussed Druid.
Need not be heavy into Wildshape, though having it is obviously better than not.

@Crake
For minimal level entry I think Druid 3/Wizard 1 (with Precocious Apprentice for a level 2 spell), then 4 levels Theurge to get the neccessary +4 BAB and then Hierophant until max (following by rounding out with Theurge) would work best.

That means level 19 Druid / 17 Wizard casting at level 20. Both enough for ninth circle. Additionally Wildshape like a Level 13 Druid.
Don't think it gets any better?

Very nice. Super versatile.

  • [X] Reports on the remaining MAs and RAs, preferably as short as possible
[X] You have received Inquisition reports on the humanoid rat creatures you once encountered beneath King's Landing. While your Empire is fairly progressive towards non-humans, the same most assuredly cannot be said of Westeros as it is now. Sooner or later something will happen, either they'll be discovered and rooted out, or some corruption may get to them, those forced to hide away from the rest of the world in fear.
-[X] Have our people visit the Rat-folk beneath the King's Landing, try to convince them to move cities - Sorcerer's Deep will freely offer them a safe haven if they agree to become your subjects. Have the offer include sending some emissaries into our cities so that they could see the places for themselves.

Thirty-First Day of the Twelfth Month 293 AC

Liset and Reva prove as clever and insightful as you might expect from children fortunate enough to learn from Brynden Rivers, skilled not only in sorcery beneath the gaze of the Old Gods, but also history, mathematics and even courtly graces. You doubt there had been many Greenseers over the long ages to be knowledgeable in the ways and doings of humankind.

Thankfully it looks like the girls have learned more than magic in Sorcerer's Deep, being at ease enough with Teana to continue lightly teasing her all even while remaining scrupulously courteous. They likely do not have as many friends as some of your other wards, but they certainly seek out the company of others far more than when they had first arrived in the Deep.

Reva is even quite curious as to when Theon will be coming back, having maintained a correspondence with him. "The look on his face when he figures out I learned more magic right here while he sailed to so many strange lands should be worth the wait," she giggles. "Hope I'll have a dragon too by then."

Her sister rolls her eyes in an exaggerated gesture that is more for your sake and Teana's you suspect. "Set your cap on him already did you?" It was odd to hear the distinctly Westerosi expression in the complex tongue of Volantis, but it has seeped into the common dialect of Sorcerer's Deep through some quirk of linguistics.

Rather than taking the bait Reva snorts. "We'll probably outlive his great-great-grandchildren, it would be rather foolish of me to form such an attachment."

"You could always, you know, bring him back in a new body every time his current one wears out," the younger of the twins suggested.

"That is a potted plant, not a husband," Reva counters gamely

Thus deciding to spend a little more time with your wards you move on into the city to the sounds of sisterly jests and good-natured bickering only spoken aloud for your benefit. The four of you pass under the silvered mirror, feeling the faint shiver of Dany's newly-completed magic ensuring that the listeners understand the show no matter the tongue they are spoken in. You allow the discussion to flow past you, feeling a smile tug at the corners of your mouth...

"I think it's rather short-sighted to cast that enchantment. Now what reason would they have to actually learn languages?"

"The same reasons people have always had, so they can talk to people, or for fun like us."

"The commons do not learn languages for fun."

"Oh, so you think they are stupid?"

"I think they have to work more and have less time to themselves."

...until you encounter an odd envoy. In post places a five foot high humanoid rodent with sleek grey fur, wearing bone and copper goggles that shine an eerie blue would be cause for alarm, in Sorcerer's Deep he merely draws the odd curious look.

This then is the unexpected child of the pyromancers' experiments. You bow in greetings and offer introductions while looking the traveler over with mage-sight. Nothing of great potency, but he is wearing about as much enchantment as a merchant of middling means could afford, which for the envoy of a people living off the leavings of King's Landing is no small feat.

As you had expected the prospect of a home where they can walk under the light of day safe and protected by the law as any other is tempting for these folk, though they do choose to leave a few of their numbers behind in King's Landing. A territorial inclination or a fall-back position in case your offer should prove to be too good to be true? you wonder.

Both will resolve themselves in time you are sure and so welcome the Deep's newest citizens warmly. The Under-City shall be a much more fitting home to them than the sewers and Flea Bottom. No one should have to live in either.

What next?

Haha. :lol::rofl::lol::rofl::lol:

Reva: "Do you have a catalog? I'm in need of a husband with no expiration date."

Qyburn: "...perhaps I could interest you in one of my next generation soulforged Knights? The Obsidian X models are quite lifelike."

Elaheh: "Pfftt! Get out of the way, old man, this is clearly a task for yours truly. Now darling, if you would step right this way, my parlor has a wide assortment of flesh swatches to choose from..."

...until you encounter an odd envoy. In post places a five foot high humanoid rodent with sleek grey fur, wearing bone and copper goggles that shine en eerie blue would be cause for alarm, in Sorcerer's Deep he merely draws the odd curious look.

King's Landing: "DEMON! AAAHHH DEMON RAT! KILL IT WITH FIRE!"

Sorcerer's Deep: "Fancy a kebab? It's got nice spices, for you two copper, eh? Have fun at the Mirror Play!"

Rat People: :???::???:

Remaining MAs:
[X] Look for a way for Viserys to contact the "exiles" of Faceless Men under the false persona of Liu of Qarth - under the pretenses of relaying to them the research of the tablet that "he" completed.
[X] Resolve to spend some more time with Balerion.

[X] Have the 20 lbs of Void-touched Jade handed over to Djinn Cryomancers for their research in cleansing Void Corruption - with the full tale we know of it.
-[X] Preferably, those shouldn't be consumed in the process - but we can live with it if the results would look really promising.

[X] Have the Efreeti Wish-slaves, summoned alongside the Devils last month by their True Names, handed over to Shaitan/Djinn officials - perhaps making them into a propaganda move for all of Genie since the practice is as abhorrent to all of them.

[X] Have school-temples of Zathir opened in Opaline Vault, Armun Kelisk, and Vialesk (and Mardja if possible).

[X] Open a temple of Yss in Vialesk (and Mardja if possible).

[X] Have Bloodraven!Varys get all of the Dragonbone outside of the Red Keep and into our possession and replaced with fleshforged fakes so that they can't be ritually used against the resurrected dragons.

[X] The Faceless Men that left Braavos - and the territory of your Empire - are unlikely to remain civil about practicing their rites with your Empire actively expanding its borders, and leaving them little place to do so. Eventually, they'll have to be dealt with, one way or another.
-[X] Have Inquisition cross-reference cases of Assassinations/"peaceful deaths" that match the patterns of Faceless Men, and work even more closely with House of Mirrors, the Zomok Seer, and even the Divination-capable Companions on free time, if needs be, to find such events outside the Empire's borders.

[X] Meet with the Candlekeep Courtier, hash out what he needs for him and his Fey to be more effective at the task we put him on - we are talking gear, we are talking consumables, we are talking potential House of Mirrors support.
Remaining RAs:
[] The Final Contravention: With how far you have come, and how many you broke off from Hells' leash, perhaps you can go around the Pact Primeval in a way none before you had - and utilise the Lawful nature of all Devils to create a Ritual that would be capable of severing their connection to Hells regardless of their exact kind, or strength. (Progress: 23+??/30, Cost: 20.000 IM)
----Lya [Second body] (4d6 Progress)

[] Elder Arts: An in-depth study of Runelore.
-[] Research the Landwards in Thenn's holdings (Progress: ??/15 Cost: 6000 IM)
----Velen (4d6 Progress), Bloom the Bridjidine (4d6 Progress) --8d6 Progress total.

[] Dreamscaping: The realm of dreams is an odd thing, shaped by the minds of mortals and shaping them in return, though some beings such as Yss have shown you that it can be altered in more direct ways. You will need to learn about such shaping before you can hope to leverage the dreamscape for your grand work. (Progress: ??/20, requires Dany, progress added by other characters is halved)
-----Aenie Caleris (4d6 Progress + 1d6 for specialization)

[] The Forge Restored: Centuries of disuse and the waning of magic it survived done little good to one of the most potent weapons of Valyria... Something you had yet to fix.
-[] Increase in CR of creatures available to create in Fleshforge of Lys to 15 (Progress: ??/10, Cost: )
----Urak the Forgemaster
(4d6 Progress + 1d6 for specialization)

[] Works of Flesh: With the aid of the Flesh-Forge beneath Lys you can craft or improve all manner of beings to better serve your needs and those of your realm:
-[] Create cosmetic variations of Leshys (Progress: ??/2, Cost: None)
-[] Create the adamantine-like bone, using the samples from Rhango's knife (Progress: ??/4, Cost: 5000 IM)
----Aemon Naremos (4d6 Progress)

[] Reforging Anew the Secrets Lost: The technique of making Seeker-constructs was lost alongside Valyria itself... Until you took the forge of Gogoss and it's secrets. However, for all their utility, the method of their creation... is severely lacking.
-[] Re-create the ritual technique necessary to create Seekers, without a need for unborn children, or otherwise equally unethical resources, to be used.
(Progress: ??/25, Cost: )
----Vee (4d6 Progress), Mantarys Scholarum Branch (+2d6 Progress), Tolos Scholarum Branch (+2d6 Progress) -- 8d6 Progress Total

[] Waves of the Sea, on Depths and Fire Turned: research the wardings if the Marid house of Mardja.
-[] Wards that would be able to protect the coastal regions and cities of Plane of Balance (Progress: ??/30, Cost: 80.000 IM)
----Breath Taker (4d6 Progress), Stepstones Scholarum Branch (2d6 Progress), Naria Loreseeker (4d6 progress) - 10d6 Progress Total

[] Forge of Creation: With Anu having finally restored the ritual necessary for the creation of his kin, much may change... But for now, that is but a single ritual. To truly bring his people to life, something yet grander Is needed.
-[] Organise a magi-industrial complex capable of producing Warforged en-mass. (Progress: 18+??/30, Cost: )
----Anu (4d6 Progress)

[] The Heavy Thoughts: The Mindspeak that some creatures wield in this day and age has proven it's utility time and time again - and finding a way to grant the ability to use it holds great promise in most various fields.
-[] Find a way to evoke the ability for Telepathy in those without innate talent for it.
(Progress: ??/8, Cost: 7500 IM)
----Svitran (4d6 Progress)

[] Watchful Eyes, by Aeons Untouched: Attempt to create the Watchman-Creature template (Progress: ??/25, Cost: ??)
----Volantis Scholarum branch (2d6 Progress), Naath Scholarum branch (2d6 Progress) -- 4d6 Progress total.

[] The Stone of Memories, The Stone of Visions: The mysterious Serpentstone Projector you recovered from the deeper parts of Riz'Neth's city may not look like much... But you have learned quite well how much but a little show before the audience as large as cities could mean for a ruler.
-[] Research the Serpentstone Projectors, emphasizing the function of recording visual and auditory signals - something that may well be priceless if a way is found to make more of such "recorders" cheaply, and also searching for a way to integrate them with the MirrorVision network - allowing to both (hopefully) make MirrorVision sets cheaper and easier to make, and to store transmissions shown - perhaps allowing for plays and speeches to be replayed in the future? (Progress: ??/45, Cost: 50.000 IM)
----Riz'Neth (4d6 Progress), Tyrosh Scholarum branch (2d6 Progress) -- 6d6 Progress total.
The ?? signifies we haven't had a number put on the action this month yet.

Here's an edited version of the chapter, DP.

Sorcerer's Deep welcomes its newest citizens! I'm so glad we gave them a nice alternative to the sewers of King's Landing.

If mortality is an issue that she's not willing to use Reincarnation against, she could just marry a Dragon. Or an Outsider. Plenty of choices.

This is something Anu has been working on for a long time, first learning how to ritually create Warforged, then get a true Creation Forge up and running. It deserves some screen time, IMO.

And I want to start producing Warforged en masse.

They aren't anymore immortal than he is, sure they might be able to cast the spells themselves, if they grow strong enough, but they will need the same spells to be immortal he will, unless they get mythic power or something, and Theon is as likely to become mythic as they are.

Or at least I don't think Greenseers are automatically immortal, dragon riders for sure aren't.

Rat meat kebab is horrible !
The real thing is obviously feral cat meat.
Rat-Dude #1: "I don't think we should try the kebabs, no matter how good it smells."

Rat-Dude #2: "That's easy for you to say, but I missed breakfast. Look at the line, surely so many humans would not buy from the cart if the food was overpriced or spoiled."

RD1: "Look, RD2, I didn't want to say anything, because this place seems really nice...but tell me, have you seen any poor humans around town since we arrived? Where are the panhandlers, street whores, unsupervised urchins, and all the rest? Remember King's Landing? They're normally everywhere, but not in Sorcerer's Deep." RD1 looks around to make sure they aren't being observed, then lowers his voice. "I don't think we've seen any poor people in Sorcerer's Deep because they eat them."

RD2: :eek2:

RD1: "I'm probably wrong, I hope I am. Maybe there's a better explanation that I'm not seeing because we're too new to the city."

RD2: "...m-maybe we haven't seen any poor people in the Deep because...there aren't any?"

RD1: "If you believe that, I've got a bridge over the Narrow Sea to sell you!"

You can take the Rat-folk out of King's Landing, but you might not be able to undo the damage coming to sentience in King's Landing does to the Rat-folk.

Thwy just go to the green dream, thats what i think they are talking about

[X] Goldfish

I think we should help out Anu, and plus a massive forge of War..forged just sounds cool.

[X] Goldfish
Eh, while I'd rather rush through RAs, I don't mind this one in particular - we had nearly no screen-time of Anu working on his dream-project over the... 6 months I think, that he's been on-and-off on this.
