So, few questions @DragonParadox for a very potential (Read: unlikely to happen) Omake. Apologies if these have already been answered somewhere.

1. White Dragons used to be a thing correct? Before the Others turned them all into those Ice Wyrms.

2. Are the Giants of Westeros Ice Giants or some other variety? Do other kinds exist on Westeros if so?

3. How long ago were the White Dragons subsumed by the Void?

4. Have we gotten any confirmation as to who/what made the Thenn so nice compared to everywhere else beyond the wall?

5. What's the policy on things like Half-dragons existing and reproducing?

Regarding 1, yes, Frost Dragons used to be White Dragons before the Void corrupted them.

Regarding 2, Westerosi Giants probably aren't Ice Giants. We know from Bloodraven that they used to build mind-boggling megastructures (the Giant's Lance for example was a shattered tower once built by them). They don't sound like a standard D&D variant of Giant, at least not one that's particularly well known. Especially since the Jhogwin are the Hill Giants as revealed by a recent interlude.

Regarding 3, that happened pre-Long Night when the Void weaponized Kinstrife against all dragonkind. The Red Dragons were the only known species who weren't affected, apparently, so it can be assumed the White Dragons were decimated around then. And then afterwards, whatever White Dragons happened to survive were likely seduced by the Void into becoming greater than what Tiamat had made them.

Regarding 4, that's a combination of natural geography (truly bullshit luck in terms of hot springs, a nice sheltered valley, etc, and the fact that the Thenns retained a lot of the old First Men knowledge with runes and magic.

Regarding 5, halfdragons exist. Relath has been having half-dragon children left and right in an attempt to breed sorcerers, for example. Also, the Flesh Forges can make Half Dragons.
 
So uh, what's our general note of actions for the next month so far..?

[] Complete clearing out the barrows near Thenns (+- deal with the elemental spirit there. Somehow).
-[] Also evacuate the Thenns via the Moonchaser.
--[] Burn down the alley of the Thenns afterwards.

[?] Do some more minor adventure actions all-around via our minions and delegation?
[?] Attack an illithid facility that makes Saghuain?
[?] Visit that auction on Hellven, for all that it is just a pokemon with little to no narrative reasoning for us to visit?
[?] Something Westeros-related? We'd got to have some political bullshit to deal with, it's been this way for years OOC/IC.
[?] Actually take part in the war with the CoB en-large again, and maybe shift one of the big fronts by personal participation?


My point, I'm not... really... seeing any large actions to grab onto as a base for Viserys as a PoV?
Like the Golden Company was.
Like Illithids will be once we/they actually start the war - and I assume we won't go for that in the 1st month since we aren't nearly ready.

What should we center the month around, again?
We don't even seem to have the "minor (but important) stuff", literally all of the adventures are nigh-completely delegatable right now.

I mean, the month being mostly made up of interluded will be just weird.
...For us as much as for Viserys, who'll just be ruling an entire month :V

Honestly, given the fact that we rarely stay in one place for very long, if we did spend the month actually, you know, ruling, I expect a bunch of crazy random events to take place even despite all the ablative armor--err, I mean, functionaries in between us and people trying to gab at us.

There's also a good old fashioned assassination attempt, that was explicitly promised to us!

Continue our work in Slaver's Bay.
So far our people investigated a lot, but don't have the full picture yet.

@DragonParadox, could you please count me as voting for Goldfish? I can't really change my actual vote without being very rude to my delegates.

  • [X] Plan "the best battle tactic is murder"
    -[X] Have Vee cast Find the Path on Melisandre, Protection from Spells on both of them, and the following buffs.
    -[X] Melisandre and the Mighty Mind Dragon sneak in and try to kill or capture the mage. Mind Dragon uses Telepathic Bond SLA to stay in contact with the Herald, and ensures that the attack goes off with the best possible timing.
    -[X] If they managed the kill without creating an immediate uproar, the corsairs will attack first while the Enthralled & Geased ships will pretend to be chasing them to pin them against the other Efreet. If they are currently fighting their way out of the ship, simply order a fast attack.
    -[X] In either case, while Rine and Vee provide AoE, have our main PC-level fighters (Herald, Amrelath, Siduri and Yrten) stay in reserve against whatever gambit the Efreet heroes will attempt.
    [X] Although the Efreeti fleet is a tempting target, Melisandre's plan has been discovered and complete failure all too likely. We will instead order our subverted ships and Corsair allies to withdraw.
    -[X] Once the fleet has reached a suitable location, Melisandre will then begin issuing orders to her Commanded Efreeti that will make it as easy as possible for our people and Salamander corsairs to capture the crews of those ships.
    --[X] The Corsairs might be disappointed to miss out on a greater share of treasure, but an easy fight for generous pay and little danger should be acceptable, and the Efreeti will still be losing access to nine powerful and expensive vessels.

  1. Yes, though you can't be sure all of them were transformed just some
  2. They are more like hill giants mechanically
  3. Some time during the Age of Dawn after the Sundering of the plans
  4. They exist, Relath has a bunch of them

now it's even, i'd say wait one or two hours and see who has won it it is noone flip a coin or something idk
 
I kinda hope we pull off more actions without our full force.

Both this and Slaver's Bay are relativly big deals and I'd love to see our minions win or loose without Viserys, growing a bit more into their own.

So far most of our non-Viserys actions were rather low-stake adventures or minor politicing.
 
I'm not sure why @TalonofAnathrax changed their mind, ya'll, but they want to vote for my plan but aren't doing so because of name votes. That's nice of Talon. I normally just tag delegates to let them know when I'm making a major change to a plan.

Ya'll might want to reconsider the option which guarantees us a nice haul rather than risking a complete failure.
