Permanency for a 7th level spell should be 3,500 IM, which means for 4,000 IM, we could make a permanent Bloodstone. Pricey, but could be worth it. Especially Greater Teleport ones could be useful in a lot of circumstances.
As you pointed out, a Permanencied Bloodstone would cost 4,000 IM, while enchanting a 1/Day Greater Teleport item would cost us 3,276 IM, or 6,552 IM to purchase or commission. For higher level spells, Permanencied Bloodstones could be worth the effort, but I wouldn't bother for anything less than 6th level.

Assuming DP lets us use Permanency in that manner, it wouldn't be a bad way to slowly stockpile a small collection of useful Bloodstones. Unfortunately, it's not quite something we can do in significant numbers simply due to the spells required.

I know I do not speak much on this thread, but have you guys seen the new Baldur's Gate 3 Cinematic? It is literally Deep Ones' versus some Red Dragon riders.

Baldur's Gate
That is freaking awesome, dude.

It looks like they're introducing Spelljammer to Baldur's Gate, or borrowing heavily from it anyway, because that was an Illithid Spelljammer.

Holy Crap that was amazing.
But our Deep one are more competent than flying a giant nautilus into a city to abduct people.
Our Deep Ones will have a nice modified Kraken to make everyone who isn't mind blanked go insane. That and other goodies. I'm hoping for a simultaneous assault on every settlement we have.
It also looks like the dragon riders were Gith as well, so that would make sense.
Reds and Githyanki do get along famously.

We really need to go back to those rebel Illithid and continue their plan to take over the Drowned God and pull it away for the Big Grey Matter Blob's control. It will be a huge blow dealt to them.

If we can get our hands on the Elder Brain...the things we can extract...the damage we can do...
The books we can make...

We can resurrect one of them and see if they can be worked with in any capacity. We can sufficiently deal with one. If things go from there then we can start our own faction of Mind Flayer terrorists.

There's only one known Elder Brain, and they're a innately treacherous bunch. The going story in Illithid lore is that their afterlife is joining with a hivemind-like unit that is the Elder Brain.

That is not the case. The Elder Brain just eats them, straight up. I suspect this "rebel faction" is a group which had discovered this fact, and--being no worse monsters than the Elder Brain-led faction, just wants to cast down the Elder Brain... in order to conquer the universe for themselves.

That doesn't mean we couldn't hypothetically ally by convenience, but it would be the type of alliance that Aegon welded his faction into, where everyone knows the other party is going to betray them and they just have to judiciously get as much positive benefit out of the relationship as possible and time their own counter-betrayal ahead of theirs.

[X] Viserys, Richard, Dany, Garin, Tyene, and Teana, along with Tor serving more as a local guide rather than a combatant, will seek out the escaped Clerics of Tiamat and Blackheart.
-[X] Waymar, Lya, Malarys, Vee, and Xor, along with a Mighty Mind Dragon will seek out the escaped Dragons.
Malarys and Garin are in Slaver's Bay right now.
We literally can't call them over, because their actions there, chronologically right now, have already happened in interludes.

Edit: Also, having VIserys on the Dragons would be nice, they are more likely to surrender to a bigger Red than to anything else.

So I reread our bit with Bloodraven before we resurrected Rhallea, and he mentioned that how to humble the Seven would depend on the situation at the time of our restoration.

So what do we know about that, seeing as we're pretty close to needing to take Westeros?

The latest chapter really felt anticlimactic...

Ah whatever, Foundation Day week is coming people, anyone wants to plan for the celebrations?
The 2nd year of the Imperium is way different from the 1st. We're a whole lot bigger, and interconnected, even beyond the spheres.

What's our budget for the week long feast?

I largely agree, mostly because I think it's the least dangerous task on our short list of things we need to do right now, something that could be handled almost alone to make up for the short fall that not having Garin or Malarys on-hand creates.

In regards to Blackfyre, the blade was traditionally bestowed on the heir, so... Dany.

Between Cleric buffs and having a nice template, it's not as insane as it sounds. She could wield it effectively and when Dark Sister is runecrafted, Lya might become able to copy the spellbattle feature.

Another option would be Sandor using it in her name for the time being.

@egoo, I disagree that the "BAB is SR" sword-effect is that broken. If you already have SR it's amazing because it seems to stack, but if you don't (or if it doesn't stack) then it's utter shit.

@DragonParadox, just a heads up, we're not done with cleanup. We need an accounting of what other sacrifices we have and what loot (namely Mind Blank rings) we've taken off of them, and what loot we got from the Golden Company itself. Also we need to take a look at those Tiamat Drakes to see what their corpses can be used for.

Shit, you're right. I thought they hadn't gone back to Slaver's Bay yet, but I just went and checked the interlude timeline and they were already back at it as soon as we wrapped up operations in the Risen Nine's city.

Editing plan.

It's not just the Mind Blanks which will be nice to get our hands on, but the upgraded Staff of Power the Volantene twins were wielding, plus any other high end loot.
