He needs to run. There is way too many creatures here for him to fight. Either he will do a hit and run on the population or he will retreat immediately.

Also next time we are making and installing teleportation detectors across the whole island. Like this. But much bigger.
 
Assuming Zathir is taking things seriously, he could respond to an attack on the city itself very, very quickly.
 
I really want to see our bro Zathir, aka Best Coatl, smack the Shadow Dragon into next week.

@TalonofAnathrax, he can do some damage for sure, but only to a point. The three Wyverns we left behind we specifically ordered to fly patrols over SD. When it appears, warning will go out very quickly, and then it will start taking 20d6 bombs to the face.
 
Actually could Yss detect hostile teleportation? If he could then frankly this is going to get super ugly for the Shadow Dragon.

Edit: Would Mindblank give an Error 404 message if a question is asked regarding something under its protection or just a solid negative?

from what i gather error 404 but idk i don't know mechanics

    -[X] The Mind Dragon casts Assay Spell Resistance and launches a spread of Elemental Acid Darts at Aegon.
    -[X] Teana casts Assay Spell Resistance and launches a spread of Elemental Acid Darts at Ashara. If Ashara survives or is not incapacitated, she uses Celerity, then launches another spread of Elemental Acid Darts at her. Her Shadow-Trace duplicate launches a Fungal Stun Vial at the trio.
    -[X] Dany casts Assay Spell Resistance, then targets the trio with Radiant Assault. She uses her Battlemagic Perception spell buff as a Free Action to Counterspell the first spell Aegon or Ashara cast.
    -[X] Lya casts Greater Black Tentacles to engulf the temple, then targets Aegon with a Chains of Light spell as a Swift Action. She uses her Battlemagic Perception spell buff as a Free Action to Counterspell the second spell Aegon or Ashara cast.

A bit more complicated than that.

If you ask a question about a Mind Blanked person then you get Error 404.

If you ask a question about a general thing like "Will Sorcerer's Deep be attacked today?" then you get an "everything is normal" response.

You have to maneuver around this and ask about an unusual amount of people dying in the city instead.

Maybe the Serpentfolk will place an order for something interesting along those lines. A snake riding a snake into battle isn't quite as cool as a Dragon riding a Dragon into battle, but it's still pretty neat.

i mean if i was someone in an enemy army seeing a cavelry charge of huge snakes ridden by 1 or more riders who might also be snakes would be pretty damn demoralizing
 
random question what has been happening with the abaration hunt in the plane of earth couse i know they were doing it and then we pulled Zherys xor and whoever else was there to kill the golden company. what had they been up to with the clearing of the bile stone

We don't know the results of that yet, since they haven't had a chance to finish the investigation. They're planning to find a caravan likely to be attacked and try to hire on as guards, IIRC.

I'm looking forward to seeing how that develops. Should be interesting.

k just felt weird that they got very little actually done in the 13 day's they had to start getting stuff done there

As long as he does not do something horrible, I am fine with recruiting him.

Though I am now imagining yss copying our yoinking. (unless we rush back to sorceror's deep and find a suspiciously fat snake)
 
I'm predicting the dragon shadowwalks into the Shadow Tower, does a bunch of damage before getting smacked down. So good thing we can mass-produce leshies since the students are probably dead.

The Shadow Tower is in a self-contained Demiplane. It cannot be accessed by Shadow Walk or Plane Shift.

If he wants to get in, he'll have to know how to use the access plinth, get passed the two Iron Archer Golems which normally guard it, plus the other guards and defenses.
