Well, "Evil" or just enchanted/brainwashed wretches.

Standard definitions have some flex. Probably wouldn't have spilled tears over eating Maelor and crew.
I know, I know. But that just means even that angle will be quiet on the corpses. Still no use debating the humanity of crazed sewer monster encounters one way or another.

That said now that we know there are Were creatures in the City of Brass sewers. Anyone want to send Maelor to collect Were asses?

Eh, what isnt in the City of Brass. They're dead, they were enemies, they were evil. That's a combo no group here has compunctions against looting.

Who knows the city might have Wererats and Werebats too. Heck they spend long enough in the sewers they might even spot a gator.
Personally I don't have compunctions looting any corpse unless it somehow affect the soul negatively, I'm perfectly fine with plundering a battle field for Celestial corpses, if we can get away with it without being spotted.

I don't want us killing Celestials or other good people, but if they're already dead anyway, then as long as it don't interfere with them getting to their afterlife, or reforming on their home plane, I'm just fine with harvesting their corpses.

Eh, I'd probably throw any Celestial ones in the forge for templates but wouldnt feel right crafting angel skin items or something. But lycanthrope ashes seem fine as a reagent to me. When they tried to kill us anyway.

But just happy we have more umbral spies crafting material. Maelor could probably use a few. Seriously though you guys wanna send a Stalker into these sewers to bring back some more? Could actually be a nice cycle. Maelor and spies bring us materials we send them more spies.

Ooh. We should be able to stumble over werecrocodiles in Sothoryos. Perfect place for a tribe of them.
Somehow I think Wereraptors are a more worrying possibility.

Hmm, her sister dies by fire, then returns as fire-typed Undead?

That's not even too unlikely, given the prevalence for Undead to crop up in D&D.

I'm suspicious.
On the one hand, her master is abducted by a rival mage. Okay so far, happens.
But then weird mind-controlled shapeshifters hunt her specifically and her dead sister says something?

Either its connected to the former, or there's something wrong in the picture.

I'm just assuming she's a very dedicated plant to get the group into Bond-style overly-elaborate trap, until proven otherwise.
Faking thoughts is a thing, and so is fooling True Sight.

I wonder if there might not be a Ymeri connection mixed in somewhere? Ashia and her sister could have been in Volantis when Ymeri kicked off the Burning there a few years back, somehow ending up in the City of Brass in the aftermath.

Also a good chance Ashia's sister is dead dead as opposed to Undead, and something is just fucking with her.

Either way loot! Say @Goldfish is there enough wiggle room in the crafting budget for next month to get Maelor a Umbral Stalker and a couple spies? I really do want to get this sewer mapped out and scouted fornloot and potential entrances to places in the City of Brass later.

Could be useful fro the raid if we found a spot deep enough to be out of the cities wards that let Shaitan dig into the city. Or just hideyholes to spy on places and get nice CoB dungeon loot.

We'll definitely be crafting another Umbral Stalker next month, though I don't know where it will end up being assigned. It would be helpful for our people in the City of Brass.

Umbral Spies are much cheaper, but they use the same materials for crafting, and we only have enough for five total Stalkers or Spies. Hopefully the were-spiders Maelor's group just killed will be eligible to use as reagents.

Can we capture a were creature alive and have it infect some of our sacrificial prisoners to get more shapesifter bodies?

From the description of events, I wonder if that warlock's sister light not have been a hellfire warlock who killed herself through self-inflicted Con damage...

It seems as though Ymeri was trying to gain a foothold over the City of Brass, or at least the Bazaar of Beggars. Though how she intends to conquer a city of reality warpers is a question even other reality warpers ask.
