Being able to nuke a big chunk of real estate with 180 Fire damage as a Free Action is worth investing a few feats, IMO.

They can't, as I edited into my post a few minutes before you responded.

From Quicken Breath

Special
You cannot use this feat and the Maximize Breath feat on the same weapon at the same time.

They only take a -16 penalty to Hide and Move Silently skill checks due to their size, so in some situations they could still be pretty sneaky. :ninja:

Well I'd like to see the narrative explanation.

Turns out people just can't stop mistaking them for mountains/volcanoes.

He would just need to hold out until the Legion out of Dorne came through the Prince's Pass, then herd the Anti-Loyalists either towards Ashford or the southern Crownlands. At Ashford we could use the Targ-Dornish host as the anvil and Stannis as the hammer. If they go toward the Crownlands, the Legion we brought there and the Loyalists become the anvil. Then the Stormlander host links up with the Crownlander one and pushes west up the Gold Road, or southwest toward Bitterbridge to collapse on Anti-Loyalists or Fey-Sympathizer with the Legion and the Hightower-Tarly-Florent triumvirate pressing in from the opposite direction.

Ah, my memory fails me once more. Okay, Quicken Breath removed and Tempest Breath added.

Was going to suggest Tempest, I'm still not sold on Strafing.

Can I suggest Extra Breath (Exhalation*)?

Replacing Flyby Breath and Strafing Breath we could have 3 uses a day as free actions with Tornado force winds.

Feats: Awaken Spell Resistance, Fast Healing (x4), Flyby Attack, Flyby Breath, Maximize Breath, Power Attack, Strafing Breath, Tempest Breath

Edit:

Given that this is the text of Flyby Breath, Quicken has the same function and less restricted already so we're paying 2 feats to strafe once a day.

When you are flying, you can use your breath weapon as a free action, provided you do nothing else but move in this turn.

God damn, I'm really starting to get worried about my memory now. I completely forget Extra Exhalation even existed. I added a couple of them in, along with Quicken Breath, but kept Flyby Breath and Strafing Breath. I got rid of a few Fast Healing feats to make room.

I'm still tempted to keep Fast Healing in place of Flyby and Strafing.

Flyby gives the exact same effect as Quicken only in much more tightly restricted circumstances.

Ugh I hate feat tax but maybe they are worth it now that it's 3/day.

Fast Healing will still take them from 0 to Full HP in 10 20 minutes rather than 5 now :p

Edit:

Is my memory failing or did they already have Quicken Breath ~15 minutes ago?

Edit 2:

Ohhh I thought you removed Maximise earlier.

They're worth keeping, IMO, especially with the Breath Weapon having three uses per day.

I've come around to the idea just barely, I'll just pretend Flyby Breath doesn't exist and the strafing is operating off of their ability to breathe fire as a free action from Quicken.

These beauties, and they are beautiful!, (Just because you deleted the post doesn't mean I forgot @Goldfish) breathe fire so godsdamned hard and with such godsdamned heat that they create a vacuum that uproots trees and flattens buildings.

The Legion marches forward in lockstep, unflinching in perfect uniform order, Imperial Steel Plate and Valyrian Steel Blades blackened though still gleaming faintly through the early morning mists.

There is no warcry, no cheering or jeering, just the rhythm of 10 thousand boots striking the ground in time with the drums of war echoing off the fog banks.

Across the field of battle sits a mighty castle, it's walls tall and strong, it's moat wide and swiftly fed by a natural river, the defenders shaken but resolute.

After all they are still men, they still bleed the same as any other and their plate while formidable will do them no favours taking the walls, their swords though unnaturally sharp will not carve through stone.

The Legion marches onward, banners flying proudly above them, banners and so much more.

Yeah, maximized breath is basically like vaporizing whatever it hits rather than melting it...

I deleted the normal Darkenbeast image for the Fiery Dragonbeasts because it didn't seem to fit. Was thinking about looking for a decent enough Wyvern pic to replace it. Got any recommendations?

Nothing yet, did a quick search but it's hard to find something that's not too Draconic, slim and serpentine.

They're still Drakenbeasts so they should be chunky and monstrous and cuddly.

Not majestic enough to be a proper dragon, not serpent-y enough to be a regular draconic kindred.

How about this, not as majestic as real dragons but look flesh forged and appropriately dragonish.
