Would it perhaps be simpler to rededicate all our public schools as temples?
Personally I'd rather not. I'm all for Zathir helping with developing the education system and continually improving it, but I'd rather keep the imperial education system separate and directly under our aegis instead.

Just like how the Silver Serpent Enterprises is very closely partnered with Yss but still is separate from the actual temples and in the end answers directly to Viserys.

I feel the same way. Also

Titan's Bracers:
Bronze Bracers engraved with sigils in the Old Tongue, promising the bearer the strength and resilience of giants. The bearer gains +6 Strength and +4 Natural Armor (this armor does not stack with permanent race- or size-related boni, but it does with temporary enchantments such as Barkskin).
@Goldfish Ideas of who to give this to? Sounds like a nice Barbarian item.

The Armory has been updated, with all sacrificed stuff removed and our latest loot added.

A few really nice pieces of loot and a couple nice potential sacrifices. The Titan's Bracers are especially impressive.

Was just trying to figure that out.

The Belt of Battle can go to Kennos Kayce. We were scheduled to craft him one this month anyway, along with some additional upgrades on it, so that would save us a bit of enchanting time.

The Titan's Bracers are extremely good. Those things would cost us 6,800 IM to enchant a duplicate. I think the best bet would be to give them to Sandor. They would need a bit of upgrading to add the functionality from his current bracers, but it wouldn't cost much.

EDIT: Actually, we should give the Titan's Bracers to Richard after a bit of upgrade work. Then we can give Sandor the gloves that Richard won't need any longer, which will be a very nice upgrade for him (+6 STR & +4 DEX compared to his current +3 STR). That works out best, and frees up a pair of Gloves of Hero's Strength (+3), a set of Soulfire Bracelets, and a set of slotless Greatreach Bracers of Quickstrike.

What would the exact upgrades for the Titan's Bracers be? Because Ser Richard's definitely going to need an enchantment of Soulfire somewhere on him.

Soulfire, plus adding +6 Dexterity, Greatreach, and Quickstrike.

They'll basically be one of Richard's ultimate gear pieces. Fitting for something called the Titan's Bracers, eh?

Note: I will be adding blurbs to most of these to summarize basic information as to their relationship with us or our enemies as appropriate and over time. @Duesal offered to help me track down some of this stuff, but as a note I'm just starting with the Stormlands because it was relevant. Any alterations to these statuses will be updated as the situation changes.

Observe! The Reach has been added.

Observe! The Reach has been added.
We have made seriously amazing inroads towards a political takeover of Westeros without even launching a Fireball. The upcoming work in the Riverlands and Reach will make that even more likely.

So much of the North hinges of Ned's loyalty to Robert. I knew that, of course, but seeing them all laid out like that really highlights it. Starks...

@Crake, we should be keeping a constant watch on the Tyrells, btw. I don't put it past them to try to break their oaths again.
We'll be swinging by there to get some letters of introduction to a handful of different Houses who could greatly change their tune to our visiting them if we have it in hand.

While I'm all for being shifty towards Tyrells on principle, I'm trying to be unbiased here when I say if we have any problems with them, it is more likely to be because of Fey interference than any malign intent.

I get the feeling after our reception to Olenna and Mace, they are very much against turning traitor twice. Viserys regards casting down House Lannister as "inevitable", but dealing with House Tyrell would be "pleasure, not business".

And I think they know that.

I'm trying my best to be unbiased as well, it's just that the sum of all our encounters with them leaves me decidedly suspicious. Our best bet is definitely to sway as many of their former vassals to our side as possible.

By the way, have we told Redwyne, Tarly, and Hightower about the insane proto-Feywild scheme yet? I doubt they'd be happy.
That would be an extraordinarily bad idea for the Tyrells.

I would like to think Mace is more intelligent than that.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Funnily enough, I also think Mace is intelligent enough for political sum-zero these days. The guy knows what he's about.

As for the North... we can make some inroads there still, but they would really just delay things. The fastest impediment to Ned doing anything rash would be winning the war quickly. It takes months to muster the North because of how big it is, especially if half the place is dragging their feet.

So from the look of it you guys decided to do a psuedo fiat currency? Where at the upper end the coins are worth far more than the materials they're minted with, but valued at about material cost at the lower values? Am I reading this right?

It's fiat-based currency, yes. Backed by Extraplanar currency at something like 1:1 ratio (that we possess a reserve for), exchange rates being guided by a Financial Council formed of the three signatories (us, the Peerless Empire and Armun Kelisk).

It's basically worth as much as either of those currencies are worth. And considering trust is high in both respective currencies, trust in our own is stable, so long as we only mint new coinage at the currently agreed upon terms.

After awhile, likely when the world is more stable, we will be able to mint more than that.

I would like to remind the thread that the lords most "easiest' to bring to our side can be done so with Rhaella. Also I would suggest leaving a few house to fight against us as the Old Gods may want some blood there. Then again it looks like there is plenty of blood to go around for the Old Gods so maybe not.

Edit: Also we are sending mom with a veritable army or its equivalent to protect her. I wouldn't put it past our enemies to use her against us. Not that it would end well for them.

Yep. We've further geared her up this turn to increase her social skills and magical capabilities to help her with Diplomancing next month. In addition to whoever we send to act as a guard force, I want to send the new Umbral Stalker and maybe the Seeker.
