I'd be fine with sitting back and watching so long as he lets us have the corpse while he claims the hoard. What are the ages of the two dragons?
We can try to press the newly-freed territory to an amicable Brine if Relath knows any reliable guys - and start working with them roughly the same way we did with Xorn.

Would get us a constant stream of trade, if nothing else.

@DragonParadox The best part is, with our embargo on Westerosi ships flying Baratheon or Lannister flags, getting Essosi trade goods in bulk should be really fucking difficult. So we're not walking into an already saturated market.

Bullion might be only about breaking even, but dragons love gold so unless they emptied out their entire reserves (which would be smart so obviously they didn't) not too much worse than our usual take.

  1. The one he is merely annoyed with in a young adult
  2. The one he would like to kill is old
What is the rule regarding territory after a Brine Dragon kills another exactly? Does it work off conquest rules?

If you can keep it sure. The plane of water is pretty chaotic

Even if he's already earned his next levelup barring us needing to vote on it, it's probably a good idea to wait a few more levels for that fight.

I mean...if its really a problem we could kill the old Dragon. Or capture it. It's dex is super fucking low. We could stop the Teleport and hit it with all manner of dex damage.

So a CR 14 dragon has him pissed off? I mean...does he even need our help?
He does.

Relath is a Young Adult Brine Dragon going against an Old Brine Dragon. Even with two levels of Sorcerer (soon to be one level of Sorcerer and two levels of Dragon Mystic once voted in) and all his gear that's still cutting it uncomfortably close since this is going to be a solo duel.

Remember when we dueled Relath for dominion over Tolos? Both sides had to dispel all buffs. So no persistomancy, no Pact of Renewal, no Nine Lives, etc.

Problem is this is the one Relath has a serious grudge with and wants to kill on his own. Bigger problem is he's not strong enough yet. Fortunately or unfortunately our world is dangerous enough and Relath is motivated enough that he won't stop leveling.

I mean he just want the dragon dead. Are we sure it's on his own? Because if it is a matter of "On his own" then we can certainly send him on a training mission. If it isn't...well a health amount of Dragon Diplomacy would be nice.

I misread that part. My bad. I thought he'd want to personally kill the dragon. If he just wants it dead then we can provide firepower and make the challenge trivial.

He does.

On the other hand, Relath might not give a damn about a proper Draconic challenge if he has a murderboner for the Old Brine Dragon.

If so, and if it's politically and ethically feasible, we could just deal with it like adventurers have been handling Dragons for uncounted millennia.

Before we go dragon slaying what does he want the dragon dead for? Remember Relath is kinda a asshole. For all we know the Old Brine is a decent guy who didnt like Relaths shit.

Well, Brine dragons become bigger pains in the asses the older they get, actually... though that's probably just stereotyping (meaning has some accuracy but not universal empirical truth).

All Dragons are, as you put it, kinda a assholes. Even Viserys is somewhat assholish. Let's just assume he did something to piss Relath off and ice this fool.

Edit: No I am not just doing this for Dragon Loot. How dare you.

Sorta more Parallel. Though probably to a far less degree. Reds man, eesh!

But seriously is pissing Amrelath off a Capital Crime now or something? We need specifics before we take a detour to do some Murderhoboing.
Relath, not Amrelath.

And it's less killing anyone who pisses him off and more supporting our vassals against their enemies. A grudge doesn't form out of thin air.

Also, if what we know about Brine Dragon is true, we won't need much before we're attacked and then can use overwhelming force in self defense.

Stealing some of Relath's treasure after a raid on the Deep Ones. he said something about it being 'too dangerous for the likes of him'
Oh, no wonder Relath wants him dead. o_O
How about we just go hunt a Kraken or something? At this point Brone Dragons seem to be the only stable population of dragons left in the Planes. Leave em alone or recruit em. Or get a better reason.
No, I want to kill this one.
