While I'm writing an omake idea popped into my head. ASWAH Bronn landing in canon ASOIAF, but not alone, that would just make him sell his skills to the highest bidder now with magic, no he lands in canon with Sarel, ancient spirit of vengeance still sworn to House Targaryen. She means to keep that oath, so you would get a mercenary/paladin dynamic... only in this case they are both evil.
The irony is thick enough to cut into slices and serve at a wedding.

A consolation for them, at least Danny is clearly going somewhere. I am sure with Sarels guidance...

Bronn would definitely get his castle at that point. And Sarell would easily be one of the most powerful things in the setting, especially with that teleport-at-will SLA, not to mention her and Bronn's small armory of magic items.

This is awesome though. Bronn is technically mortal (in the sense that he could conceivably die if surrounded by an army of people with wildfire flasks) but Sarel is unstoppable. She's cautious, fast, incredibly mobile, and she has enough HP to take multiple scorpion bolts to the face without issue while Teleporting away. She can then heal herself back up to full in about 48 hours in a secure location on the other side of the world.
They have access to amazing magic (Greater Ribbon of Disguise is amazing!), and they also have skills that will make them literally posthuman to the poor level 5 people of the setting, but that's almost an afterthought when compared to their "I kill small armies one by one with my pumped-up AC" thing.

When were you imagining them appearing? At the current date? At canon start? Because having them appear before Viserys died would be horrible for everyone involved, but having them appear while Daenerys was ruler of Mereen would be absolutely amazing. 100/10, I would read a two million word fic about it. Daenerys is a terrible ruler, but she isn't actually bad enough for Sarel to break her word.
Daenerys already has incredible military superiority so this doesn't break the setting any worse than it already was, but now she has two superpowered Evil advisors who don't actually have nefarious ends - just well-meaning advice, possibly attempted mentorship, and an amazing buddy cop dynamic. These advisors don't actually solve her problems (if she'd been given our boy Garin the Harpies would have been utterly fucked, and if she'd gotten Vee the famine would just have gone away and the people would have supported her even more) but they're good enough at intrigue and have enough magic to be a good band-aid on the whole situation, making it all last longer and spiral even further downwards while Daenerys keeps making strategic mistakes.

I wonder if Sarel knows enough ritual lore to try to awaken Daenerys' magic?

Huh. I've just noticed that Garin has no ranks in Bluff. Our master spy, infiltrator and murderer is actually a very poor liar!

I was imagining them in Mereen, or earlier when the dragons hatched.

So goes the Fakir.

I'm surprised he went as well as he did, he really wasn't one for fair fights, but at least he defended his loot to the last breath.
@DragonParadox Will Maelor decides what of his belongings to buy off our hired assassins, or will he ask Viserys?
Loot is a rather serious matter after all.

Dibs on all corpses.
Well, but of course, they are on PoF after all.

Side note, I am conflicted.
Maelor was never a Good person, but I'm fearing that months upon months of scheming in bazaar (and all the side effects of being in that place) might have rapid negative effect on his psyche...

And we don't have anyone better to set down there, on a task of critical importance :o

Its like Malarys and Sothoryos' nature, only on a low burn... And over a much longer period :/

I'm torn between wanting to give him a vacation, and being efficient.

Kinda want to Bookify this guy. What was his build? Can we bookify a corpse if we use Resurrect Outsider? He could use a hex so gotta be a different class.
I don't think it's worth it, and I don't think he's dumb enough to accept a resurrection from us. If you're canny enough to survive in the City of Brass then you're experienced enough to know that after your enemies kill you you're probably better off just staying dead.

He'll be fine. He's only got a bit longer to go, after that he can relax for a while at home.

Can we root through this guys skull for everything on our wishlist and who can sell it to us in the city?

Why does he have to know its us? Just use a patzy with a scroll. Some defense against that. Well I mostly want his business contacts and maybe his source of hex knowledge anyway. Guess a lot of speak with dead could cover that.

Why would a suspicious bastard like him ever accept a resurrection after being killed by Maelor? That's just begging to surrender your soul to whatever vengeful torment your enemies have planned.

This is a trick that would work on someone hopelessly naive, not on him.

Alright, root through his skull it is.

You know that actually is a question. Why dont outsiders have resurrection plans? I mean I still remember when we met the Djinnprincess how they buried the Shaitan guards that were killed. I mean they were definetly rich enough for a reincarnation atleast if they were killed. So why were they resurrected later? Or do they just stay dead?

I mean millenials is supposed to be short for these guys and they have no backups for getting killed? You'd expect that to be the equivalent of a life insurance policy in immortal empires.

My guess is, that is an onus down on their families in accordance with their wishes and with reagents for it held in security for a latter time when they are informed of the death.

The burial on the battlefield was for treatment of the bodies, likely in a way that ensures they won't be desecrated when they do not have the means to carry them elsewhere.

Eeeeh, 5 to 6 months more in that hellhole before Djinn/Shaitan make their move doesn't really sound nice, and it'll likely mean increasing pressure on him as time will go on.

But sure, whatever.
Like I said, it's not like we have a choice on whom to send there, objectively.

At least he has least problem keeping his morals to himself in that place, unlike many other Companions who otherwize would be fine social-stats-wise.
