[X] Crake

@DragonParadox, it would be kinda cool if our intervention here, along with the frankly ridiculous amount of magic we imbued him with and his own good luck, Awakened Edric as a Beguiler. Like how our first big speech at the Scholarium caused a mass awakening of Sorcerer's who would have otherwise struggled or ended up as Hedge Mages, IIRC.

EDIT: All part of building the Dragon King legend, you know?

That makes quite a lot of sense. Rolling dice...

Edit: missed out on the advanced template from being touched by mythic magic by 1 point, but he does get to convert both his aristocrat levels into beguiler.

We are taking him, his brother, Joran and the druid twins and whatever else and putting them all in a party and sending them to bandit hunt in a month or two.

Edit: We made this loot. He is ours now.

Talking about retraining, @Goldfish @TalonofAnathrax I build Mors in a way that was mostly suited for a non-magical world, where scaring people receptive to fear was a good strategy.
Do you think he should retrain a bit to become a better damage-dealer against monsters, and if what exactly?

Mad!Scientist Viserys: "Okay, I was able to Awaken Edric Mallery to his magic, a power which will give him the ability to easily sway the hearts and minds of men and beast alike, through the liberal application of social manipulation magic. For the next test, I will attempt to awaken a mundane commoner as Sorcerer with power over flame and heat. What could possibly go wrong?"

Didn't we speech so hard that we made Sorcerers at one point or did I dream that up?

Huh.
This might just be a great first step to that first Mythic Rank that will let us grant spells to people "worshipping" us.

Yep, it did happen.

Scholarum and awakening mages was a systemless harrowing experience back then tho.
Thank god for @TalonofAnathrax

Well, it took near enough a month, but I read the entire quest. Good show, @DragonParadox and associates! the writing struggled the first fifty chapters or so... but the next three thousand have tended toward great. My hat off to you for what may be the most expansive collaborative work I've ever read. Now I suppose I'd best start keeping up with it, hmm?

You poor thing.

You have fallen so far down the rabbit hole the light shines through from the bottom.

Damage and durability, for sure.

Here's the gear we're crafting him this month, which should be ready to give him by now.
Amulet of Tears
Gloves of Hero's Strength (+2 Strength)
Boneward Healing Belt (+2 Constitution)
Earring of Arcane Acuity
Boots of Speed (+30ft Enhancement bonus to speed) w/Anklets of Translocation effect

And we're going to give him, or have already given him:
Handy Haversack
Greater Ribbon of Disguise
Launcher
Ring of Protection from Evil
Valyrian Steel Great Axe
Valyrian Steel or +1 Adamantine armor of his choice

@DragonParadox, Any chance Mors would accept a Cyclic Reincarnation? He's not quite on death's door, but at 58 years old he's suffering from a -3 penalty to Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution. That's pretty significant for anyone who expects to go out and adventure.
