Margaery will never be queen of anything. Baby PC, sure. Queen?:rofl:
If she want to be Queen and pass the level gap, she will be Queen of something, we don't forbid our citizens from leaving our realm, so if Margaery really want to be Queen, she can level up to something like level 15, then leave our employ, and carve out a Queendom somewhere in the Multiverse, that's not already ruled by us or our allies, that's fully legal to do, and we aren't the kind of Tyrant to prevent her from doing it.
Oh well fortunately for her I am fine with making this little debacle just business then. I wonder if we should ransack her home for any magical things. See how she like that brand of business on the other side.
We are already planning to take Casterly Rock, so yes we will be ransacking the Lannisters home, if she surrender we wont be ransacking Castamere, but that's a simple matter of you don't steal from your subordinates.
Oh so we are finally for murdering her? Oh lovely. That is all I needed to hear. I dont need nor want to stupid risks being taken to recruit an enemy. Now if murder is on the table then sure I am for recruiting her. Well as much as I can be for recruiting someone nowadays.
Murder is on the table if we face her in battle, she's not bothersome enough, to take the time to go murder her, without her giving us a very good reason to, if she ask for parlay we will of course oblige her, but if we end up meeting her on the battlefield, she will be treated as an enemy, and while we might capture her alive, we wont shy away from killing her if that's more convenient, we will just offer to resurrect her if she will work for us.

Or that's my plan for how to handle her, some people don't believe it's a good idea to offer to resurrect her if we kill her, I disagree with them, she's a high level PC and resurrection is cheap, so alive or dead, if she agree to work for us we should let her, and in case of her being dead that involve resurrecting her.
400.000 IM for an alliance. That's cheap right? I mean granted they need the resources but still. Are they that desperate?
The only reason they ask for resources at all, is that they are in need of them, if they could afford it they would help us for free, they hate the Illithid, and so killing Illithid is it's own reward to them, the only reason they are asking for pay, is that they can use those resources to kill more Illithids.

They said 400, but a better question for @DragonParadox is how strong.
If we can secure 200 to 400 Githzerai combatants of appreciable strength per Monastary, we can really do a number on the Deep Ones when its time.

By then we'll have dozens of Heralds and Wyverns, at least two or three Moonchasers, and droves of specially grown aquatic combat Plant creatures and Bio-Constructs.

Is it possible to successfully interrogate a captured Elder Brain? Those things are crazy after all.

she's not bothersome enough, to take the time to go murder her, without her giving us a very good reason to
I'm sorry, but the following is a reason enough:
she's a high level PC
She has a reason to fight us, and has potential to hurt us in great many ways.
Get a keystone in place -> summon a bunch of mercanaries (whom Lannisters can afford) -> we have another thing taking our attention when we really can't afford that.

Yes, she's not a challende in direct fight.
She's still an enemy, and one who should be taken out one of the first during Reconquest if we want as little bloodshed as possible.

If she surrenders immediately upon us opening on Westeros?
Good for her, she gets to live.
Otherwise, we will be taking her out until we are done with estabishing our rule there.

For something like this most would me mid-range PCs level 8-10 with about a 10% of them being true elites level 11-15 I'd say

Good night guys see you tomorrow with more from Yi Ti and whatever you vote to do next.

So for practical purpose around 40 would be 11-15, and if we're betting on percentiles remaining consistent, 4 would be Level 15.

Which is actually the minimum number in our CR range we would need to split our party but still pull an attack on a larger, more important underwater facility.

@Goldfish Another level-up vote attached to the overnight one? Who's left?
Xor is the only one left. I'm going to be getting everyone's sheets up to date this weekend.

Excellent. We should try to narrow that down. Also is SR 34 hard to beat?
Not particularly. Viserys casts at 20th level (22nd for Fire spells). With Assay Spell Resistance, that's 30 or 32 for the purposes of overcoming SR. Casting using Wild Arcana adds another +2. Also, thanks to his Eldritch Breach Mythic ability, Viserys gets to roll twice to overcome an opponent's SR.

Our Divine casters are all in the 15 to 17 caster level range, too. And they all have Beads of Karma, for a +4 caster level bonus for 10 minutes 1/Day. And they all know or prepare ASR.

Lya and Xor can both also use Harmonic Chorus on themselves or others to add another +2 (or +4 if used in conjunction with a canceled Moment of Greatness buff). Lya also knows the Spell Enhancer spell, which is good for another +2.

All in all, we've come a long way since we first realized we would be fighting an Elder Brain. I think we were level 10 back then? When your caster level is only 10 or 11, SR 34 looks quite daunting.
