A bit of bad news, the Sandor update does not work it feels a little forced character wise and given how I've been called out for pushing his character OOC before I don't want to risk it. How about a Maergery interlude just to show the world turning outside Viserys' actions? I feel like we all might need that.

That sounds good, too. Her last interlude was very interesting.

@das_slash

As someone who has consistently argued against reinforcing the ignorant belief that shiny is good, I have to say Sorry, not sorry as I'm very glad with the outcome.

Xor is a bro and the Light Fey Lord was an asshole.

Yss is better than the golden bastard who's skin we now wear and Uncle Brynden, rotted as he is, does more for our subjects than that Hero Killer epitome of seven angelicness that we have the misfortune of also being related to.

It is in our interest for people to recognise good because they can see the value in it for themselves and others, because it aligns with the values that they bought into as imperial citizens, not because a particular being is saying it.

Choose the message, not the messenger and if anyone is likely to make the mistake of prioritising the latter better to address it now.

@DragonParadox

No rush but if an interlude comes up and it's not Yi Ti or Goblin Market you did mention you might do something with Orphans/Glyra.
While I agree with the general sentiment, I would like to point out that if you rely on logic and the wisdom to recognize character you are basically alienating 50+% of the population.
People need the shiny, things that they need to process anger and scare them, show them a golden angel and they will know to nod and smile even if it tells them to begin lighting the torches for the mass murder.
While this is not good in the long run, we definitely could use it right now, and the benefits from using it outweight the long term damage from cementing shiny=good in the population.

Sandor is a character who progresses through his development very slowly, is the issue?

To be fair Sandor would be hard to recognize as a character period if you made any significant progress toward working through his issues, his trauma defines his entire character in canon. So you are going to have to butt up against that eventually, you realize?

[X] Crake

@Crake, in addition to psionics, can we try for additional monk training to supplement what Ting's doing for us?

Nothing but figuring out how to be a Concept Cleric. She's trying to get stronger in magic, and then after that she's off to get her own hoard.

I would like to develop our first Monks a bit more first, and the Gith are already paranoid enough that they won't venture forth from their safe havens unwarded long-term, and I don't think it's worth it yet to start an exchange program for monks that we don't even have yet.

Precisely, he needs time to change and to grow and with so little time having passed even since the festival I can't justify the interlude I would have written.

Too bad, I was hoping she was already making some money.
I have an omake in my head that involves freely available cash.

Also, sure about Concept Cleric?
Sorcerer would come more natural, Ur Priest would be stronger, who decided on Cleric?

Just going off the fact that she's probably going to try to learn from Dany.

I don't really have a preference, but she might be better off going Sorcerer, since those levels would stack with what she naturally gains as she ages, though that is on a very long time frame.

As a Blue Dragon, she can also learn spells from the Cleric list like Viserys does, IIRC.

Sorcerer would be great.

Yes.

There are even ways to convert the natural Sorcerer casting to Cleric casting, but that requires the blessing of a major dragon god, so that's not viable.

I think a good option mechanically, and also fitting for a dragon tought by Dany, would be Warpriest (PF), less magic that a Cleric, but more boni for her draconic murderblender body.

Not a fan of that route, I'm always in support of full magic, whichever form that takes.
