"I just realized something."

"What is it, dear?"

"There's a spell for everything... except finding the right spell to use."

"Sages have been looking for that spell for eons."

"How do you know?"

"...really Viserys?"

"Oh. Right."

Anyone else getting the tremendous urge to disprove this at the very least with multiple spells?

Edit:

Partial Credit - Boosting Knowledge Arcana with a spell such as Prophetic Lore for a check against a Lead Golem and knowing that you should specifically use Gust of Wind.

  • [X] Use Blood Wish to duplicate an Ooze Puppet spell targeting the largest of the Ooze Snakes.
-[X] Once the Ooze Snake is under control (subsequently referred to as Oozmond), use it to physically round up the rest of its smaller brethren. While they are distracted by Oozmond, everyone will carefully move past the gathered Oozes.
--[X] When everyone has passed the obstacle, Viserys will bring Oozmond to join the group while Malarys uses the Titan's Tools to place a Wall of Stone to block the corridor so the other Oozes cannot follow us. He will then use the Titan's Tools to transform the Wall of Stone to crystal clear quartz.
---[X] The group will continue on, accompanied by Oozmond, after Viserys uses his Orb of Mental Renewal to heal the Charisma damage from using Blood Wish.
[X] Goldfish's Vote, but rename Oozmond to Oozma!
    -[X] Pull the lever Kronk!

It would propably be more of an Avatar or Aspect?

I assume DP would let an actual demonlord be far stronger than CR19, similar to how the CR21 creature was only a small part of Mammon.
Jubilex isn't really a Demonlord, though, merely a Divine Avatar pretending to be one, at least in the D&D 3.5 lore. A CR 19 Avatar is pretty damned strong.

Wouldn't it be amusing if Ghaunaduar was in a similar situation as Yss and Stormy before our intervention? Rather than fading away entirely, though, he may have been left with nothing but his Jubilex form. If that is the case, and we fought and captured or killed it, that would be our first slain god.

Do you know where I can find the Stats for Jubilex?
Realmshelp has him without abilities and SLAs.

There was that mantis deity remnant as well, who got fed to Yss.

I find it unlikely that was the last of the Mantis God, an artifact of significant power certainly but it's an Assassin cult god and they're normally pretty good at coming back from the brink if not faking the brink entirely.

Mirror Mantis, Crimson Assassin.

I hate this new update so fucking much, it's amazing how much effort they put into ruining my user experience on mobile, I can't even add the second link. Goodnight.

Relax. There are three truths to the universe :
1. D&D will always be to blame for everything GoT-related
2. DP will always have inconvenient internet issues
3. The update won't come until you nap, or post pictures of a riot.

Did we find or hear of any further demonic problems by the way?

I mean, we've been stumbling over Devils under every stone and Daemons have at least a decent presence, both in Planetos and in general (Celestial Planes), but Demons have played basically no role for ages, except for the one Marilith we summoned.

Maybe we should divine a bit in that direction, to make sure nothing is blindsiding us?
Abraxxas is propably still pissed.

That lends even more credence to this being a Jubilex incursion.

The Drow have been messing around with demons, but we haven't heard anything major. Well, the Golden Company is probably going to have a whole bunch in their ranks. We've been taking out a lot of their stronger players one by one -- both Essarian Clerics (one of the Sixth Circle, one of the Seventh), Anu the Warforged Wizard (formerly Wizard of the Seventh Circle though he lost that level in resurrection), and then Anu's strongest former apprentice and his apprentice (Wizard of the Fifth Circle & Wizard of the Third Circle).

My guess is they're making up for it by power-leveling the mages they do have and also making some very unfortunate choices with the things they summon as supplemental forces. Dragons beholden to Tiamat, but more than that summoning powerful demons to serve as guardians or even just weapons to spite us, etc.

A Jubilex incursion would be very neat. I want that ooze loot.
