Can we not put more stuff on the list?

Edit:
And too late. Hope it's worth it.
This can be handled by subordinates if we get lucky enough.
No one is even sure if there is a grave. It is said that in the twilight of his life Hugor sensed a great darkness in the east, bequeathed his kingdom to his eldest son and vanished into the sunrise lands.
Wait. He went to Asshai? Okay. He's gone forever. The Bloodstone Emperor ate him.

So he went to fight something in yi ti?

Proto Valyria? Or the bloodstone emperor...

Edit: @Duesal if he did that's something we can use to distract the 7s chosen...

We need a meme for when we suspect the strangers chosen is up to something...

At minimum I'm hoping to find at least one of the god-forged Iron Suits of legend forged by the Smith when we finally do have the time to send people to poke at Andalos. If nothing else it'd be an interesting addition to the Armory.

He went Eastward sensing a great darkness...that isn't vague at all. he could have gone to fight the 15th or he could have fought the Bloodstone Emperor or he went to go fight Asshai itself. And those are just the major ones. Chances are that he got his ass kicked though.

"Sunrise Lands" implies a place a lot farther east than Valyria. He most likely went to Asshai. The fact that he never came back is ominous, and the fact that things never got better is rather telling.

I would not be surprised to find his soul enslaved by the Bloodstone Emperor or something.

I am uncertain if it is worth attempting to find out or not.
Would be in line with this piece of shit world. Well if that topic isn't worth one Yss question I don't know what is.
The Bloodstone Emperor is definitely stronger than Yss at this point. Let's not risk it. This isn't something to actively pursue, this is just something to keep an eye out for when we go to Asshai eventually.

Similarly to the cute snek, the Goddess has a lotta reason to like us and a fucking bone to pick with Timmie her and her shiny amoral mercs. I ain't super surprised this was so painless.

[X] Speak with Yrael about the state of Heaven and travel there, the matter has been much in your mind of late and dark have been your suspicions of its fate

Oh right, aren't the GC feuding with the Joghos Nhai, who're also big worshippers of her? Yeah I see a lot of reasons why she'd be all for this.

So long as we do have a talk with Yss before attacking Pentos...

Mmmm...

I kind of an idiot but I just realized.

The seven purport living virtuously as the most important trait.

While rakshasa seek to ascend to immortal enlightenment by living as sinfully as possible.

I imagine we're going to find a much deeper connection when we start digging into Asshai.

Given how Rakshasa are practically an inversion of the 7 who are one.

Also WOW our society is very similar to Rakshasa society. God damn.

See you make statements like this but don't elaborate. Could you like explain?

Zxzx24 likes sharing unsubstantiated statements and often doesn't go through any great pains to elaborate any of the virtually dozens of things on his mind at any time.

I wouldn't pay much more than cursory attention unless he elaborates specifically on something unprompted, because then he might actually be trying to convince you of it.

No, I just hit on a different realization. What I should have said is "Rakshasa are also a pragmatic meritocracy". Which is something our societies kind of have in common.

"Rakshasas believe that each and every creature in the universe has a proper role to play, and that success comes from understanding one's position and working to improve it."

"Rakshasas do not see castes as good or evil, but rather as purely pragmatic. Creatures of higher caste should be respected for their great power, and those of lower caste should be pressed into willing service to expand the holdings of those of higher castes as their betters seek greater wealth and influence."

W"rakshasas are forced to admit that the gods have powers greater than their own, most rakshasas scoff at the concept of divinity as a whole. The gods are among the most powerful beings in existence, to be sure, but too many examples of powerful, ambitious, or merely lucky mortals attaining divinity exist for rakshasas to pay religious homage to such creatures."

It's also something one could very easily say about hell. Simply by adding the words "ruthless" to it.

And I know we're a dictatorship. So are hell and the Rakshasa, this is about everything below us.

Does anyone know of any DND society that is a ruthlessly pragmatic meritocracy that isn't evil?

I'm mostly trying to construct a counter to this argument. So knowing of an example would be very helpful.
