Do any of you remember the cultist woman who when we placed her in front of the heart tree asked for a religious symbol of her childhood religion? She decided over her own free will while trapped alone in our dungeons waiting to die to turn her back on the so called great dark. She fully and truly asked for forgiveness and the rest of the cultist around her completely lost their ship trying to murder her before she could do so.

How can encouraging and helping people to do that be a bad thing? It isn't like we can't create some enchanted object or simply use any of our numerous truth spells To confirm that whatever people we are actually able to help have actually turned their back on the Demons.

As for the WMDs, In the end the only reason we used that on the lannister is pure unadulterated spite. We didn't need to use it even back then we could have walked right over the lannister if we had invaded that same month. We were pissed because the Impotent little shit wasted our time with another easy to counter plan. That is a horrible reason to use a WMD, and from the uneasy reaction of our friends and wife they knew it too.

Is it a weapon of mass destruction if all it caused was property damage? I mean the boats rotted and the docks got hit badly but it really wasn't that big a deal tbh. I mean Tywin was an asshole to his people.

It's not that simple.

I agree that the update was basically bullshit, but the points raised were valid.

If they had been handled in any other way they would have been fine material for many, many well-written and carefully handled updates.

They weren't.

Okay, dude. You've made your point.

We get that you're upset and don't like the way this vote was introduced, but it resolved some important issues and DP has already admitted it was rushed as well as promising not to repeat something like this. What more do you want?

It was a little jarring to wake up and read something that felt completely out of continuity.

I'm not exactly happy with the way the vote happened or how it turned out, but it's over now. At least we can move forward now.

Also I just read the info on the Redeemery. Holy shit that thing is terrifying. Mainly because flipping it to a Damnation Camp would be a matter of swapping the script, assuming you can tempt someone in the same way. It's basically just the More Than Mind Control trope taken to an industrial scale. Actually I'm surprised that I can't think of an evil empire that hasn't tried implementing one of these. 1984 I guess, but it doesn't have the same brutal efficiency to it.

I'm only going to say one thing. If anything resulting from this decision stops us from skinning Lucan alive and stabbing him onto a Heart Tree I will be quite peeved.

It won't. And if it does I shall ensure that it is fixed so as to not do so.

Though I'd prefer that we just stab him onto a Heart Tree, please. No need for skinning.

It's not going to, don't worry.

There is a priceless benefit in sacrificing Lucan -- namely, the Old Gods' rage is quelled, and more loyalist Andal houses can be spared.

... Wait a minute. @egoo, wasn't Corbray supposed to be sacrificed by Grafton right around now?

I swear, it's like all these Seven-related plots are converging.

It's clearly a conspiracy :V

...I have no idea, honest.

No one tagged me with adding it as a MA, or even mentioned it in context of being a MA, so I wasn't looking at dates

He's blessed by the Father, his skin is probably useful for something. Reagents, research, throw rug...

Since we're getting all moral about things wasting parts of the kill is just as bad if not worse than killing itself. Have to use every part of what you hunt and all that.

Imma be real I forget how we were convincing Corbray to do that.
We're convincing Grafton to sacrifice Corbray, by virtue of the fact that Corbray is a scheming devil cultist who has already tried to cripple and murder him.

I would like to make a Sacrifice Spear out of Lucan, if the Old Gods let us.
