15 HD takes him almost there.
So I'd keep to 16 HD/Cleric 13 and forget about maneuvers, in favor of archonly abilities. He is pointedly not a super powerful caster, but 7th level spells is more than enough to make him dangerous regardless.

Ah, as fitting as maneuvers to defend others are... He's a Gish, I was told quite empathically his gimick should be mage hunting.

@DragonParadox, my reasoning was that when we got to Oldtown we already had people in that scheme trying to outdo our fleet, and our Mirrors have a very wide range, not to mention the Terminus itself making interplanar travel trivial.
Information should be disseminating far faster than previous times.
EDIT: Also, our Inquisition agents should have this as part of their job.

Leave the Golden General, that's great for him and not stronger than a Holy Aura a Celestial of that power could easily have.
Aside from that one daily use of this: Endurance of the Strong – d20PFSRD
And three daily uses of this: Defending the Pride – d20PFSRD
Would be very fitting for the Warlord Archon and not exceed what other Celestials on that level usually get in SLAs, right @TotallyNotEvil ?

Yes, those two are fair and fitting. I was about to comment that we ought to take a Planetar and start snipping stuff for martial abilities, including taking the most thematic maneuvers that people absolutely want and subbing the SLAs for them.

I'd give him the ability to manifest a good sword, as manifesting weapons is all the rage with outsiders these days. Maybe a Holy Avenger with his RHD counting as paladin levels?
Perhaps like:

STR 26 DEX 20 CON 22 INT 18 WIS 22 CHA 20
Power Attack, Quicken Spell, DMM, Mage Slayer, Practiced Spellcaster, Protection Devotion
SLAs: As he had as Legion Archon, + Constant Discern Lies
Maneuvers: At Will Golden General, 3/day Defending the Pride, 1/day Endurance of the Strong
Special Qualities: Damage reduction 10/evil, darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision, immunity to electricity, cold, and petrification, +4 vs poison
Casting: Cleric 13 (Rebukes/Cures, which domains?)
And the above ability to manifest a Holy Avenger giving him weak SR, but which he can share. He can get a better one up through his own casting.

Perhaps allow him to also manifest a +5 Fullplate of Heavy Fortification, with no ACP/automatically adjusts to his DEX mod, but with the usual caveat that it only works for him and crumbles to dust if it leaves his possession. Legion Archons do have that thing with armor.
We can make something exactly as good for him, or better, but it's neat.
Oh, and update his javelin ability to let him manifest +5 holy flaming javelins as free action, and they crumble to dust if they aren't immediately thrown.

I can agree with most of that build, but not Holy Avenger and +5 Holy Flaming anything.
Planetars, Trumpet Archons and even Brijindine all have/manifest lesser weapons than that.
A Trumpet Archon has a +4 Sword, a Planetar +3 Holy, Yraels weapon should be oriented in that general direction.

I'm not sure we want that, because if all goes according to plan the conclave will fail, crash and (not literally) burn.
I'd much prefer to pretend that we want nothing to do with the conclave and plan to get the faith in order once we take over (the latter is completly true), so we are not associated with the resulting mess.
I can't stress that hard enough, this cannot be our seen as our fault, or the whole exercise here in Oldtown is pointless.

In defense of DP, we have been announcing the fleet for over a month now. The festival only happened within two weeks ago. News across the Kingdoms will be delivered by boats, and then by ravens. It will take time especially for a realm wary of magic. Also, its only been six days since the festival ended. Most of those who attended are still sailing.
The best time to ask for a great rumours post with the people you want it from, will be the begining of next month.
