  2. She is level 5 so she is likely to at least survive a good hit, so sure you guys can make the offer that way
  3. What you saw on screen is what Viserys heard, in his estimation ser Roger is not a Reyne. From the joust he seems to be around level 4-6

We pretty much shoved a virus bomb through Jeynes soul at every single bit of her, so even clone-bits should be gone. If they are not, then they are not closely enough connected to her to be a symphatic connection.

... we are talking at cross-purposes (I think). I was talking about the body Jeyne currently inhabits. If that body is also one the pieces the curse worked on via sympathetic link, well, we just cursed her current body, too.

I've added a note to ward her current body from the effects and / or getting ready to immediately de-curse it. No other bit had those protections.

And for reference folks, Seers get the most powerful divination power in the game beyond deific intervention. In some ways it's better, actually. Because it can explictly breach Mind Blank and similar effects via a CL check.

Metafaculty is rightly feared.

@DragonParadox are we running on magic/psionic transparency here or not?

On the other hand, for a while now I've been planning to have all the aberration-touched citizens of SD (that we can keep alive throughout the process) cleared of said influence via Merling King's magical waters on Toad Isle.
With Vee on hand for Regeneration, and more regular healing for lesser things than "losing an arm, or a tentacle on the inside of the body" that more tainted people are likely to suffer.

I'd honestly rather just deal with Illithids' influence on our poor people, and research Psychic template some time later.

I'm personally seeing no real point in being racist against our abberation-tainted citizens. The problematic ones died a good while ago and the remainder can get a trip to the spring by applying to it at the House of Healing. Not as if Dany wouldn't immediately Teleport them there if someone asked.

-[X] We will have two main tasks for her -- teaching, and fighting.
--[X] Fighting: As she has experienced, many are the horrors awakening in the world, and someone needs to fight them. We will not send her against anything she could not stand against, and she will always have allies by her side when she faces such monsters. More than that, she has grown strong in her trials and is more than capable of standing against the dark.
---[X] She will receive a good deal of equipment from us beyond the Amulet of PfE she already has (to be decided based on what the crafting schedule can spare), along with a signup bonus of 200 IM to do with as she pleases (she was a smallfolk so she'll be unused to huge sums of cash).
--[X] Teaching: We don't have any psionics in our service at the moment, but as we find them we will look to her to teach and guide them. We'd also need her to aid in looking for people with potential for such magic.
-[X] Ser Roger: He will have his chance to fight Deep Ones, though there are many other evils that need to be dealt with as well.
--[X] He will be given equipment (to be determined later) and a 200 IM signup bonus.

-[X] For now, we would like to research the unique alterations the Illithid made to her clone body do deepen our understanding of their abilities and to learn how to replicate them in willing subjects.
-[X] Said research will be non-invasive, painless and everything only done with her consent.
-[X] Beside that, we would be interested in her capacity as a combat mage.
-[X] Should she have any personal goals or desires, this would be a good moment to voice them.

I was thinking we could take the chance to stick her and Ser Roger on the groups sent to clean out the barrows next month.

If it had affected her current body it'd be very messily dead and we'd have needed another diamond on hand for a True Resurrection, I think.

Is there any way we can use Xor's presence to induce psionic potential in people without unwanted mutations along with it?

Also, should we take a survey of any people with lingering Deep One influence on their bodies to see if they can be awakened to psionics?

For Yss' next sacrifice, maybe summon a slaad to serve as flavoring. Or one of those evil manta rays whose name I can never remember.

One vitally important question: has Oberyn hit on Melisandre yet?

Though I would rather start the research for Praetori then Psionics for now.

Psionics is definitely a lower priority than the Praetori.

Also, anything to say to Ser Roger? He might not be the strongest guy right now, but he's a conveniently similar level to Jeyne which makes him ideal to stick on the new baby adventurer team.
 
@DragonParadox Is she a D&D 3.5 Psion Kineticist, or a Pathfinder Kineticist? They are very different classes. I'm assuming the former rather than the latter, but just want to confirm.

Also, is Jeyne still considered a baseline human or did she did any perks out of this beyond becoming a Psion? For example, is she an Elan, did she pick up one of the Psychic Creature templates, etc.

She's a Psion. The answer should be pretty obvious :p

Are you sure you don't want to incorporate psionic powers into the Praetori, now that we might be able to research that option?
 
I would like to formally thank the Deep Ones for giving us a Kineticist. It was very thoughtful of them, and we appreciate the gift.
