Finding the souls of Lady Saennas kids. I've currently penciled in Dany, Lady Saenna, Xor and Sandor for that.
Rina would work as a substitute for Dany if she has more pressing tasks. I don't think Sandor and Oberyn would make good teammates quite yet.

@Azel Just to be clear, when you say Governorship of the Rhoyne you are referring to the counties arround Dagger lake, the Golden Fields/Ny Sar/Ar Noy/Chroyane area?

I'm currently having her on ressurecting the Blue Wyrmling together with Amrelath.

Besides, I never quite got what the benefits of sending Rina to AK were supposed to be.

We've been told by DP that the heart is being...restless, I think. And that the air mages are having issues with it. Rina likely has more theoretical and practical understanding of the power beneath it than any of the mages in the city. It puts her in a place where she's the specialist, which is good for her on multiple levels, and will also win us additional favour with AK's military and development groups.

More personally again, it allows her to network with people who are unlikely to care about how she got the knowledge and power she has. Just how she uses it. And it also gives her the chance to look into the nature of her power, how it changed her, and if it might be possible to restore some of the life taken from her. Which, I have confirmation from DP, will be of use in developing frostproof Weirwoods.

A whole flock of birds. One stone.

I get that people want to free the Blue Dragon Wyrmling from its stasis, but that really isn't worth investing legit Companion PC time into, not when there are so many other, more worthy endeavors she could be undertaking.

...Am I just not getting through?

Jinn are currently stuck on dealing with Ice Heart.
The thing is connected to Others, who are connected to breaking of Planes, as such being an important topic to research even for Outsiders with no connection to Planetos.
We have RIna.
And DP said that by sending her there we could further and quicken that research significantly.

Also, that would get us good PR with Jinn and some connections to their best mages.

EDIT: Snowfire'd, but explained better than the last 3 times I tried. Eh, worth it.

It's also something that, for Rina, I feel would strike a little too close to home. Let her go use her power to help our strategic allies, and learn a bit more about herself in the progress. It's far more useful on all levels then tossing her at the Wyrmling project.

Agreed.

And while she's there, Rina can serve as our representative. The Armun Kelisk Planar Terminus is being built next month and we really need to establish our embassy there, too. It would be a good opportunity for Rina to spread her wings, so to speak.

Hm... I was under the impression that the Djinn were making good progress without us. If they are stuck, then I'm seeing the appeal.

However, that then postpones the Wyrmling thing, since Amrelath doesn't have the necessary spells to free it, leaving us with the research action from the Tyrosh Scholarium and Amrelath free.

Edit: I was mainly worried that Rina would just be stood in a corner and let to watch the CL 20 people fiddle with the thing.

I'm fine with this. I'd prefer Viserys be the one to free him anyway, so I'm okay with waiting.

I'm fine with delaying the Blue Wyrmling action.

And there really aren't that many high level casters available, even in a place like Armun Kelisk, that they can be assigned to research duty. Not when there is a serious war going on.

The Wyrmling is a minor project that Rina and some help can do in a month.

The Heart will still be there and important a month later.
I'd much prefer to do the short research with clear goal first, then send her to an unknown period of general research with the Djinn?

Heart is time-sensitive though (Jinn are at war and can't spend much resources on it, while it already is active and is being ominous), and Wyrmlling can stay in amber for all eternity if needed.

We'll do the Wyrmling the month after this one, trust me.
Either via Jazzirian, or anyone else.

But for now, RIna is in an unusualy good place to help out on a strategic level.

In the same vein, Dany can do the Wyrmling on her a own the month after.

Or DP greenlights @Goldfish suggestion of Miracling it free.
