I completely forgot that this is the same Cornugon standing in our trophy room.

@egoo, please add him to the summoning schedule. I've got a mighty fine omake in mind.

Look, I'm the last guy you need to convince of experimenting around by grinding various kinds of creatures into steel additives. I would even go as far as to try Abberation. We will likely throw a Disjunction at the results, grind it down to powder and then Disjunction the powder again before dumping it into the Abyss, but... you know...
Angel blood (cold immunity) + Other blood first please?

I wanna knooooow.

I think you might run into issues due to the Cornugon being demoted upon death.

You could get around this by asking the Cornugon Trophy for the names of other Cornugons, or by looking through the Tome of the Cabal Devil for names.

This either all ends in tears or a buddy cop comedy.

Or both.

We just need to do a raid Beyond the Wall and hope the Others can't resist tossing Winterborn at us.
And even then I don't expect some cold-touched animals like those monsters from or first beyond-the-wall visit to be useful in crafting a magical material.

I'm suspecting we'll have to wait for actual Winter Fey to make something good.

So where's that update?
To hyped to work on anything else, like Hoard Thief?

I had a late morning due to still fighting off a cold, then had to work on a post explaining some of the PW update I put up last night as it was from a very unusual perspective.

Also I have no idea what this Hoard Thief thing you're talking about is, but I'll be working on Horde Thief this evening.

Maybe, but I don't think they're as useless as you're making it out to be. The Winterborn template should be enough if provided in large quantities, even if it might not be able to compete with a genuine Other.

Nice omake @Azel .

And Oberyn is awesome, as expected.

In other news, living out of a bag as the store apparently doesn't care to send the people to assembled the furniture I bought from them (changing places in the city I go to for Uni).

Just what I need when my semester reads "Complex Differential Equations, Fluid Dynamics, Solid Dynamics, Plotting of Dynamic Systems and Circuit Analysis".

*smugs*

Maybe I'll post an omake.

Run them through the magical being juicer essence extractor and see if we can use what comes out.

That is the secret to our civilization's success. It is juiced up out of its mind :p

Question: do plant immunities cover petrification? I ask because we might have found a way to train gorgon handlers.

It wasn't ever a problem for us. Our Pech have Stone to Flesh as an SP if eight of them work together.

That said, plant immunities do not cover petrification. They have the following instead:

Immunity to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects).
Immunity to poison, sleep effects, paralysis, polymorph, and stunning.

Yeah, but we can't produce Pech at will yet. We can produce leshies, though.

Which reminds me...

@DragonParadox , did our pech reproduce during all this time? I remember that they wanted to make their own families and get their own mountainhome at some point.

No, that would be bad. Fire subtype creatures are immune to Fire, but take 50% additional damage from Cold.
It's perfect for putting on gem harvesters however, immunity to fire was the only thing we were missing, in order to be able to grow gem harvesters instead of training them, and it's better to train them, as Fungus Forge grown beings, are very unlikely to let the secrets of Fire Whale gem harvesting slip.

Still looking forward to setting up harvesting stations next month(I'm assuming the reason we haven't done it yet, was that we didn't allocate time to it this month, and hoping that we will allocate time next month)

@DragonParadox how did other semi-final fights go? Anything interesting enough to write or about as expected?

If the latter can't wait till finals since assume going to be close.

On a side note, we are absolutely throwing a major Lya research action on the Crown of Flowers (aided by multiple other Companions) before we let the Court of Stars bargain for its return.
