@Snowfire, I'm still not happy with getting planar folk to fight our battles, but there is no way we will let this one slide.

And we need fresh squid... Vee needs test subjects...

Where are the Githzerai again? Air or Water?

Because our truce doesn't extend to Water.

They live in Limbo, but the plane of air has trade links with them. And seriously man, this has been their battle for longer than our bloodline has existed. If anyone has prior claim, it's the Gith.

I'm thinking a vote like this:

[] Seek out a connection to the mysterious Gith
-[] Send a letter via Armun Kelisk to the Githzerai strongholds that we were told of during our visits to the city. In the letter, request a meeting with a representative of the Githzerai, with the context of seeking aid in defending a realm from an infestation of Deep Ones.

Just get us in the room with some of them, and then we can talk.

Our explosives production line will be completing 900 pounds of Explosive Packs at the end of this month. That'll expand to 1800 pounds at the end of next month.

I think we need to consider adding another couple production lines next month if enough of our Hedge Mages level up to 5th level so they'll have the skills to manage one of the facilities. We could have our production up to 3600 pounds or more per month by the end of the 10th month.

What? Yes, I want to start blowing shit up. In related news, production of Teleporting suicide drones will be commencing next month.

The vote needs a bit more than that. One letter takes up a sentence or two of the update.

Ok, seriously, what is your problem with the Githzerai? You've never explained it, and I'd really love to know.
Oh, you have been misunderstanding me stating my position on them for the last 3-4 thousand pages, then. :V

I very much have nothing against them.
Yet, every time they are brought up, they are confused with Githyanki by some, the difference is explained, and nothing comes out of that yet again.

So, I'm happy for the decision finally making it into the vote, although it was even foregone from happening on PoA this month.
And I asked DP at least twice throughout the trip.

Plain terms?
I've been wanting to hash something about dropping them near Illithid forces for a while now, while we could consolidate some more forces in peace.

Then what would people like us to do after that? I'm not really sure myself.

Redwyne?
Redwyne, yeah. We need to do smalltalk with him, get rumors of the Reach out of him, then get down to business and show him around the Trophy Room and explain in detail why we've been too busy for Westeros.

And also give him a Valyrian Steel Longsword and tell him he'll need it for the Long Night, just to drive the point home.

We should specify Illithid rather than Deep Ones in the communique. We don't want there to be any ambiguity or confusion about what we're saying.

Very good point. Thank you.

Alrighty. I suspect we'll be getting an introductory section for Horas, so I don't want to include all of the above given it wasn't needed in the options DP gave us.

--[X] All appropriate precautions are to be taken in securing our identity in this letter. If possible, have a representative in Armun Kelisk itself send the letter instead on our behalf - we surely have enough contacts and favour within the city to make this happen.
-[X] Then speak with Horas Redwyne.
-[X] As a side note, Viserys' next priority for languages to be learned are: Dothraki, Sarnori, Naathi, and Yi Tish.
-[X] Ting Level-up Vote
--[X] Skills: +1 Acrobatics, +1 Listen, +1 Spot, +1 Sense Motive, +1 Diplomacy
--[X] Feat: Jabbing Dancer
--[X] Style Strike: Footstomp
--[X] Gains: Improved Evasion (Ex)

Entirely fair, just wanted to keep you updated on the overall plan for him.

[X] Snowfire

@Snowfire, you should hide our identity in the letter, or we might get bypassed. We're rather famous in the planes now. I won't speak against negotiating with the Gith at this point, but I don't want them to figure out where the illithid are before we tell them, and the clues they'd receive from the letter aren't hard to piece together.

Added a section to that effect. Let me know if it's ok.

Excellent. :) Sacrifice spears and sacrifice maces are now in our purview.

I'd still love to convince them to warm up to bronze, that would make things a bit easier on us.
Shouldn't we be able to make wooden swords with the hardening chambers? Sure they probably wouldn't be quite as good as metal ones, but they shouldn't be that bad either, especially if we get ahold of something like Ironwood and splice it with Weirwood.

Actually that could be a future project, find some magic wood that can be turned into top quality weapons, and splice it with Weirwood, to create sacrifice weapons of top quality.

I was kinda hoping we'd get an interlude from Horas's perspective before we met with him, I'm interested to see what's going through his head.

@DragonParadox, out of curiosity, could we get a complete series of Legends of the Dawn Age and the Age of Heroes if we assigned the Thenn's storyteller and our Children of the Forest to it, attended to by a dragonpen? I want all of it scribed down and codified, then the full version added to Lya's collection and a censored version released to the library. Hell, maybe even correlated with all Royce and Night's Watch records.

I don't mind if it takes months, I just wanted the okay to do this.
