...I now have a mental image of us shooting at Devils with legal papers.
And it is beautiful.

The engines are redundant, you need more than one hit.Sooo ballistic projectile with a scroll of anti magic that triggers on impact?
Maybe I can better illustrate my issue with a question to DP.
@DragonParadox
Could we get these crafters in this timeframe by throwing enough money at the issue?
Could we get the Lore option by throwing a roughly equivalent amount of money at the issue?
I expect his answers to be Yes and No respectively.
Man... the minor actions vote is as big as the Turn Plan vote.
Of course half of that is collecting on former minor actions multiple turns later but still.
You know I still get the feeling all these super weapons are one anti magic field away from blowing up in our faces or atleast hurtling its crew to their doom. What is the countermeasure for that again?
An AMF couldn't knock out a AG Engine. Their containment is a Wall of Force, which is unimpressed by the AMF and since the projectile can't physically enter the engine, it can not affect enough of the volume to lower the generated lift below the safety margins. What is more threatening is containment failure due to a direct hit with Disintegrate or Disjunction. But to achieve that, you can't have your projectiles hit anything else then the containment or it will just vaporize a section of hull or internal structure. So you basically need to Disintegrate a hole through the whole vessel and then send another projectile right through that tunnel to hit the containment.Sooo ballistic projectile with a scroll of anti magic that triggers on impact?
Yay, it's too late to set up an action to find people to reincarnate this turn, but we can make that action next turn.
I consider it a hilariously bad idea to power military combat crafts by sticking demons into them. That is a disaster waiting to happen.@Azel I'm not sure if you've seen this. I know we're probably set on AG drive, but the thought of an array of limbless, bound, magically lobotomized Vrocks serving as the lifting and propulsion units for the Moonchaser is amusing.
EDIT: Maybe they could be the propulsion unit for smaller vessels which are below the size threshold for an AG drive? If one Vrock can propel a ship as large as the Lirgen's Glory, if with some magical amplification, three or four of them should give a ship a nice bit of speed.
EDIT #2: I now foresee a possible future where Vrockpower is used as a measure of the strength of a vessel's engines.
Anything to reduce the chance of the Cold spells getting to her.Journals of the Betrayed
Description: Written in the elegant hand of a calligraphy wyrm, this set of journals nonetheless seems outright drab at first sight, plain brown covers marked by nothing but a number indicating where they should lie among the library of Dragon's Roost. One could not guess to look at them that within these pages lies a history of war madness and treachery written by one most dreadfully betrayed, now turning her own hand against the enemies of life.
Content: +5 to all knowledge rolls relating to the Others, their magic, and their interactions with mortals, A reader who studies all the volumes for one week and makes a DC 12 Intelligence or Wisdom check at the end gains a permanent +1 to saves against cold spells and necromancy, increased to +2 against the magic of the Winter-Touched specifically.
It would be a bad idea to pair a Phoneix with Amrelath, no matter how much he's changed from his original nature. Remember, those guys were willing to work simply for charitable donations to be made, and not even in their name.Side note—when we give a look her own +1 Soulfire Mithral Buckler, we should also make her read a copy of Rina's book.
Anything to reduce the chance of the Cold spells getting to her.
We should also make all our Lesser Phoenix minions and Amrelath read the book.
I'm also considering getting Amrelath at least one Lesser Phoenix minion of his own, or someone, to basically be his own Alinor.
That was kind of why I was considering them at all—they're perfect. They're so great that Amrelath could get away with not paying them, but instead making his own domain more friendly and safe, etc. A minion who doesn't even ask to get paid is perfect for a dragon. It would be a bad idea to pair a Phoneix with Amrelath, no matter how much he's changed from his original nature. Maybe give him a secretarial Elemental Wyrmling, or a cosmetically adjusted Greater False Raven to serve that purpose?
If we're ever giving her books, then I suggest that we also give her Xor's book. The best book ever written. Ten million sociologists and anthropologists and philosophers are dying of jealousy, but Xor finally wrote it! A "definitive guide to being human!"Side note—when we give a look her own +1 Soulfire Mithral Buckler, we should also make her read a copy of Rina's book.

Then there's the fact that Amrelath actually got along with Bloom in Lyseos, if he can have civil discussions with a CG being, then he can work with Phoenixes. That was kind of why I was considering them at all—they're perfect. Could we have a construct servitor with the specific task of getting that taken care of? That or training a giant or Minotaur to do it.
???Could we have a construct servitor with the specific task of getting that taken care of? That or training a giant or Minotaur to do it.
Then I've got nothing.???
I meant what kind of weapons we could install on such a thing as it's too small to make manually loaded weaponry that feasible.
A pair of 10th level Launchers. Each would cost 1,800 IM before discounts and have a range of 800 feet. We could connect each Launcher to a couple dedicated extradimensional ammo storage hoppers, each the equivalent of a Type 1 Bag of Holding (250 IM each before discounts) and able to hold 250 pounds of projectiles, one with a basic projectile, such as a scaled down APDS round and another with a specialized projectile, such as Explosive Pack or Sleep-Smoke rounds.
You mind making a list of summons in such a way, that it would not make it immediately apparent to any faction that we are summoning and capturing them en-mass, when we'll be doing those "important enough to be on-screen summons"?@DragonParadox, when we summon a Cornugon can we try to make sure it's metal-clad somehow? I'm hoping for a silver or platinum Cornugon to get a decently strong cloak for Lya, yet also matching Viserys'.
