A Reforged World (NO SV, You are King of Italy, in a Greatly Changed World)

The Final World Rumor Mill
The Final World Rumor Mill:

The Ottomans:D100 => 8
Suliman:D100 => 100+D100 => 89

Suliman expected so much more from his court than this. That these schemers and bureaucrats and generals who had done nothing to keep his empire afloat, to keep his conquests from spreading to almost say nothing of… Well, he was furious, furious and angry as he marched into his Capital of Instanbul… and to his palace, to his court.

And put half of them to the sword. He was through with this decadent bullshit that he had unwittingly created, and he would do as his hated Rival Luciano did. He would reform, bringing in the brightest men of the Empire to serve him, to advise him.

But he would not give any of them great power. That was a fool's game. He was the Sultan of the greatest empire in the world. And he would rule well, with an iron hand.

But he had one list that he could not let go of anymore. He had a choice. Eastern Europe, or Greece.

And he could not hold Greece. The Italian Saw to that.

But Eastern Europe… He could.

The Germans were bloodied and destroyed by the French, The Polish had their own problems with the Russians and his own forces…

And of course… The Italians would remain a thorn in his side… but he could soon win victory there. Eventually.

Reward: The Ottomans abandon Greece, and Suliman has conducted a purge on his officers, bureaucrats, and courtiers. Rebuilding his court in the image of his hated Rival, Luciano. A court of science, engineering, military, and naval stratum.

He seeks to create the court that will be the envy of Europe, and the World.
-------------------------

France:D100 => 99+D100 => 93+D100 => 64

To France, this peace is one of great triumph. Their king was dead, but he had brought them a lasting victory, one that would be remembered for Generations.

And all throughout Paris and the major cities, many Catholics who were in hiding, proclaimed their new faith, with the Temporal head of it, The King of France, as their new pope.

It was everything the previous king could have hoped for. The Netherlands were taken, natural borders were secured, and all her enemies were defeated, save for the Germans, and Italians with their fleet.

With peace, there would be rebuilding. And soon, more victory.

The French Regency:D100 => 13

Now if only the French court could come up with a plan. Much of the court were caught off guard by the coup by the French Army, and wondered what the hell was going on…

And they were afraid. Afraid for their lives.

War was coming to France, a civil one… where all their victories could be destroyed in an instant.

Reward: There remains some justice in a world gone mad.
----------------------------------------------------

The Liberated Greeks:D100 => 100+D100 => 63

The Greeks, with the help of the Italian Bonaparte… armed, trained, and learned that they were not alone anymore.

It would not be enough for them to be saved by someone else.

But it would be enough for them to save themselves.

Reward: the Greeks… will have to fight to save themselves.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

England:D100 => 74
Scotland:D100 => 65

Both Kingdoms have come to wonder just what is going on.

And they knew that something was going to change between them, now that they were trapped in an ever-changing landscape of terror and violence.

But they had the island, and plenty of time to change what that would mean.

Reward: Rule Britania plays in the distance. In time.
------------------------------------------

Spain:D100 => 48
Charles the V:D100 => 90+D100 => 89

In Spain, Charles looked at much of what has happened.

He knew what he wanted…

And he knew just how to do it. "The World, that of the new world, is mine."

He didn't know just how much the old would keep his plans from ever reaching fruition.

His people and his nation… could not have his ambition seen. It was impossible.
-----------------------------------------

The Spanish New World:D100 => 34

Struggle. Plague. Native attacks.

Those were the daily fears of all in the Spanish New World. Brutality, conversation, and shot were the only currencies that could afford safety. Tribes in North America became increasingly bold and attacked further into Spanish territory.

They could not be stopped.

The lands and it's people were not going to bow to any power from beyond the sea anymore.

Reward: The Spanish New World will fight extremely hard to even see a victory..
--------------------------------------

Pizzaros Expedition:D100 => 1
The Inca'sD100 => 80

Pizaros expedition was met with only two certainties.

One is that this land was hostile, and not meant to be conquered.

His enemy was also fearsome and not like any whom he had fought before.

Two, he was not going to be a hero. He was not going to be a conqueror of savage lands.

He was going to be another corpse of fools and dead men.

Reward: The Incan Empire will survive, in some form, for the next 500 years. Having saved themselves from the men who would have destroyed them, and learning to their horror, of the ever-changing world.

And that they would need to change too.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

North German States:D100 => 80
The False Emperor:D100 => 93+D100 => 96+D100 => 95+D100 => 50

In Northern Germany, Wilhelm I is crowned Emperor of the Germans by both Luthern and Catholic Priests in Brandenburg, before he would set out to his new capital, in the ruins of Frankfurt.

He would rebuild the city and it's people, and a symbol of resilience, he would make it his new home, for a new Germany.

But before he makes one great decree. One that will make all things seem fair.

The Declaration, and Edict of Frankfurt, and the Freedom of all Men.

It was a simple edict, one that shocked the entire world.

No man could be discriminated against, tried, or be declared illegal… for the faith he practices. All men were equal to the Law. And all men were equal to follow God in any way he sees fit. It is not only the protestant world that is shaken by such an action, but the world's Jews as well, who see a land of liberty, where they… may not have their homeland, but they would have a home.

The Story of the Holy Roman Empire was over.

But the Story of Germany was not.

Reward: Through an edict and laws, Wilhelm the I is crowned Emperor of the German people.

And declares his state to have freedom of Religion.

Restoring a hope that some would have never seen possible, even in a thousand years.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Southern German Confederation:D100 => 58

And to their brothers in the South…

Life moved on.
There was nothing left to do, but to mourn what was lost.

And move forward… because nothing would ever be the same again.

AN: Enjoy.

The final score of Luciano the First
The final score of Luciano the First

Luciano the First of Italy, Luciano the Liberator, Luciano the Engineer. The Unifier of Italy, THe Wunderkind, Friend to the Germans, Friend to the English. The Reforger of the World.

Legacy Points: 6,604,042 (You are among the most important men in all of Human History, and certainly one of the most important secular figures of the last thousand years, for your impact on society, science, engineering, commerce, and social progress. A Genius without peers, some consider him the foremost engineer of all of human history, and until the modern invention of Flight, the greatest proponent of human movement in History. Politically, you are considered, though falsely, the First constitutional Monarch. Your rule, and trust of the governed, made you a popular sovereign, and introduced and spread, the idea of popular sovereignty in Europe.)

When Luciano Grazini was born in 1500, no one knew just what that boy would accomplish in his 70 years of life. That much many of you have read in his stories. But it is his later reign, where he did not accomplish nearly as much, save for two crucial aspects.

The invention of the Cartridge, which would revolutionize industrial warfare for the horrific, and the State-sponsored decree of ending the Global slave trade, and the abolition of the former slaves. Now many of the targets of the Italian slave trade were in Africa, where the Slave Kingdoms and Ottomans gathered their chattel.

And it would be where the Italian Navy would earn the Name, the Sourge of Africa. For there was nothing that was so deadly, as a ship that flew an Italian Flag… because that meant, all that saw, all they knew would die.

Many African kingdoms, from West Africa To Kongo… were destroyed, and razed to the ground without hesitation for their practice of human chattel as the only pretext for it. Against orders one must be aware, that each expedition was not allowed to conduct diplomacy, or make moves that would be considered as such.

But to the captains, commodores, and admirals that saw the great slave markets of Africa… all they saw, would push them further into Christian fury, the fury of the Old Testament God, to proselytize those they rescued, and to rip apart civilizations that existed for thousands of years by the roots.

They succeeded beyond their wildest dreams and imaginations… all while creating a new world behind them.

Hundreds of thousands would die, and the newly Christian kingdoms, free of the slavery systems that had been there for centuries, were forced to change.

Some fell into anarchy, and could not survive, they would soon become easy conquests to the Portuguese, Dutch, and French Empires.

Many more, most notably in Congo, would become one of the richest and most powerful nations in Africa, and would gain an incredibly close friendship with the Italians going into the 20th century.

Luciano's rebuilding of Italy and Rome itself would mark the beginning of the Italian Golden Age, which lasted for almost two hundred years before much of the rest of the world finally caught up to his genius and his good relations with the Papacy, would see them sponsor many works of art, architecture and public works. In fact, by the modern day, the church's footprint on Rome, would be indescribable. And much of the city would owe its water supply to Luciano.

Lucaino's most notable Legal contribution, was his submission to the Senate's authority to Tax his lands, and his personal holdings, setting the precedent for the King to be subject to the Senate's authority for Taxation.

Later monarchs would try to weasel out of it, mostly to supplement lavish and decadent lifestyles that were unbecoming of Italian kings who were known by reputation to be modest, honorable, and even ascetic to the ideal of luxury, as their forebearer Luciano would set precedent for. But it would later finally come to a crisis in the 1880s when it was finally proclaimed that the Royal Family would no longer collect incomes from their personal property, instead getting a set stipend from the Italian Senate.

His greatest technological contribution would be the Steam Turbine, which, until the invention of the internal combustion engine, would be the sole source of power for many nations.

Many consider his most prized ideas, called the Book of Engineers by modern scholars, would be studied for centuries, and many of his inventions would never be produced. Many consider what he created, so far beyond his time, that no one knew if anything in it could be created.

AN: Luciano is considered the finest monarch, and most important human being on the secular side, in Human history.

only Ghengis Khan, Jesus, The Prophet Muhammad and Qin Shi Huang have higher legacy scores then him.

THe End. and thanks for reading.
