Looking back perhaps got bit overeager just lovin' the quest (Even though just started I know~) and had lot of fun writing omakes.
But yeah I'll hold off on writing more till after turn results are posted no problem.

The Abe Express(Part 2/2)
Funding a Monorail spanning multiple cities was neither cheap, nor simple.
Not only did you have to plan out where the railroads would go, where the best places to include stops were, but also had to plan the safest methods to keep them going without disturbing the public too much.
And that was just for Springfield, for the rest of the cities he planned to expand to, Abraham had to start a both a campaign and a tour to find suitable locations for his new method of public travel to go too.
One usually had to get attention, so it sadly fell onto him too think of a way to get word out there about the Monorail.
And Flyers and newspapers could only do so much, the new generation just didn't seem too catch on with paper anymore.
So it was clear what he had to do, and while Abraham Simpsons son might be an idiot, it seemed today the older man would have to take a page from his books.

A TV Screen lit up, Abe sitting in a chair as he read a book, numbly putting it away, before noticing he was being filmed.
"Oh hi there, my names Abe Simpson." He spoke, getting out of his cozy chair as he stepped forward with a cane. "I'm sure your wondering what this add is about." He mused, Ned appearing from behind as he carried in some tea.
"Why yes, I am diddly as-Shut up Ned!" Abe told him off, Ned walking away awkwardly as he stoof forward.
"When you think of the word: Travel, your probably thinking of things like planes, cars, ships and even bicycles." He spoke, said items each appearing in large bubbles beside him, as he swiped them away,
"But when I wanna travel, I know the real method of travel, a clean, quick, and very publicly accepted method of travel for all those folks who need to get to work on time, but don't have the money or energy for other forms." He spoke, ripping off his clothes as suddenly, he was dressed just like Uncle Sam.
Blowing a train whistle in hand, as several Conductors came out "Thats why starting from today, the Springfield Monorail system will be coming to a town near you, just convince your Mayor's or folks that you deserve to have a cool way of getting to work, and travel in style!" Abe declared, just as a song began.
"Who can take your luggage?" Barney Gumbel walked down the streets, groaning as he carried heavy luggage, as his trip to Italy was soon and he needed to get too the airport.
"And Carry it down for you?" Two Conductors appeared and grabbed onto each end, practically skipping with the fat (Former) drunk as they headed over too the new Monorail.
"Find out where you wanted, and guide you there too?" The two wished him a swift fairwell as he was at the Springfield Airport soon enough.
"THE MONORAIL MAN!!"
"Yes, The Monorail can!"
"The Garbage Man can and he does it with a smile and never judges you." All kinds of Bumpkins, old people, fatty's and weirdo's got on the train, workers not batting an eye as they let them all on.
"Who can form my passport?" Homer Simpson asked, standing in line to fill it out, not sure what too do
"I don't mind at all?" One Technician said, doing it for him in minutes.
"Who can clean me up before I miss the ball?" Lisa Simpson asked, having spilled orange juice on her dress.
"THE MONORAIL MAN!" Several workers quickly cleaned her up, and even improved her, Lisa looking straight out of a disney princess film by the time they were done.
"Yes the Monorail can!" Her date quickly arrived as they headed off together
"The Public Transport folks are jolly friendly blokes, courteous" The Monorail quickly started as they drove off, the Monorail safe and quick as they soon arrived at their destination.
"and easy going they mop up when your over flowing and tell you when" Chief Wiggum waited to get to the station, right before one conductor got his attention.
"your arse is showing" The Chief of Police smiled, embarrassed, before quickly pulling his pants up/

"THE MONORAIL MAN! YES HE CAN!!" Abe Simpson drove the Monorail as it quickly sped by
'Cause he's Abraham Simpson Man!" Bart and Liza cheered, right behind their grandfather as he increased the speed.
"HE CLEANS THE WORRRRLD FOOOORRR YOOOUUU!!!" The song soon ended, Abe pulling the Monorail to a close as he stepped out.
"So if you wanna protect the environment, be the new cool town on the block, or just be part of the future, convince your town to make way for the Monorail!" He told them, the ad soon ended as we cut to one of its viewers.
A bearded man wearing a ponytail staring at it in silence, before smirking as he called in his assistant.
"Owen, prepare a flight too Springfield for next week, I have a proposition for that man... "

With the commercial set up to go on in another day or so, Abe Simpson drove into the town of North Haverbrook, one of the same towns that the con known as Lyle Lanley sold crappy Monorails too.
'Lets hope they won't treat me with the same hostility the showed him.' The billionaire thought, recalling how the bastard was lucky too be alive after the vicious beatdown they all gave him.
The town thankfully having recovered since they took the 2 million Lanley stole from Springfield, what was once ruins and rubble was now beginning to look like a proper town again. People have returned as business was back.
But that's not why Abe was here...
Stepping into an office, Abe took a hefty breath as he came across the man with the highest authority in this Town.
"Hell Mayor Cobbes, I'd like too purchase permission too your Monorail tracks" He spoke to the former scientist of the Haverbrook Monorail, now a wise leader who kept the town from making idiotic decisions .
"Abraham Simpson... " The glasses wearing man spoke with awe, likely hearing the news about his most recent win over Burns "What could a man like you want with those old things."
"I wanna restart the Monorail, and before you ask, no, I have no intention of every pulling a scam like Lanley did." He told the younger man, the rage in his face disappearing as he looked intrigued
"But even so, why do you want them, what could you possible be planning with a town 50 miles away's tracks?" He responded, Abe huffing as he new this was gonna take a while.
"Lemme tell you a little story of what the government did to old Springfield not too long ago... " He spoke

"I see" Mayor Cobbes spoke, rubbing his chin in thought, horrified at the lengths the government had gone too.
Imprisoning an entire Town in a Dome? Too keep Germs away?!
The Monorail disaster looked like child's play in comparison too that...
"So I need this Monorail plan to go through so I can get some insurance the Government can't pull a stunt like that again without anyone noticing." Abe explained, Cobbes smiling as an idea came to mind.
"Very well Mr Simpson, I'll give you permission to use our Monorail tracks, for free no less, and I'll even personally help you in your project too the best of my ability." He offered the older man as Abe arched a brow.
"And the catch?" The Grandfather responded, knowing a deal like this would most definitely have a some strings attached too it.
"I'd like you too set up a station in Haverbrook as well, we could use the tourism, and people need to have faith in the future of technology in this town again, and from what I've seen, your just the man for the job." He spoke, Abe smirking before shaking his hand.
"Deal!" And so, a new plan was made, Abe would be working on the budget and getting the best material, and Cobbe's would make sure the system was working perfectly well in each and every city, and set up a warning system so it would ruin efficiently as humanly possible without hitting the other trains.
And while their would be some protest from both Springfield and Haverbrook, eventually both towns would come 'round too the idea of a better running Monorail.
Especially with how cool both towns would look.
////(One Week later)
"Almost done, Abe spoke boredly, the plan too finally finish 3/5's of the Monorails stops done by now as several cities had called for a station to be added, especially after it came out he would be footing the majority of the bill.
Even the sleezy politicians couldn't refute him after that, and while the sheer amount in costs was looking pretty damn steep, Abe knew it would all be worth it once things were set up.
Now the only problem was protection...
While Abe was hoping he could get a King on board with his plan, it appears none of them were willing to bite.
Doom wanted nothing to do with this plan
Bellweather had politely declined his offer
Doof had seemed interested in the plan, but given with the current 3 way war going on between him, Syndrome and Shego, it wasn't exactly safe too make a deal with him unless he could get 2/3's of the warring trio to agree. And neither of the two S's had said a word on his thing.
So from the looks of it, old Abe would just have too settle for being to public for the Government to do a thing against it.
Suddenly, a buzz caught his attention as Ned rang up.
"Umm, Mr Simpson, there is a strapping young man who wishes to speak with you." The Simpson families eldest was suspicious of Ned's rather nervous tone as he said that, but right now, he wasn't in the mood too act on it.
"Alright Ned, send him in" Abe spoke, taking a donut for himself as he was beginning to feel a bit hungry. "Mhmmmm, Pink Donuts" He chewed into the flavoured bread as the man Ned was speaking too stepped in.
And just like that, Abe's half eaten donut dropped out of his hand and landed on the floor, his mind frozen and his heart almost stopping as the man took a seat before him.
"Hell Mr Simpson" He greeted politely, his assistant standing next to him as the blonde Smithers look alike adjusted his glasses.
"My name is David Xanathos, and I would like to invest in your Monorail plan.... "

Love this! Really great two part one shot calling back to one of the most classic Simpsons episodes and pieces of lore.
Plus I liked the intro to Xanatos even though he only got two little scenes, it's hard not love one of Disney's best villains. The man that Lex Luthor thinks he is but not even on same level ~
Thanks, figured it might be best way to get income into Springfield, and also wanted to see if Abe could get the backing of a King somehow.
Xanathos was most likely, since Abe couldn't accept one in a war unless a ceasefire based on it was agreed, which meant Syndrome and Shego needed to agree too that, else Doof was out of the picture.

Yeah out of all the kings, David would probably be the most interested in a monorail. Especially since Shere Khan has a monopoly over air travel while doom has a car one.

Blood of the gods, that's an option huh. That'd give us a straight connection to Shego, which is uh... I don't actually know. Shego is apathetic but still evil which is fine when she doesn't know you exist, but a budding nuclear power might be the exact thing she wants to add to her colleciton.

Hopefully it's mostly Drakken that would come to visit instead.
On the other hand, it is just amusing imagining Drakken getting involved in the simpsons family shenanigans.
Like sure we are not villainss all around, but goody two shoes is not something that describes the family too.
Like cannot remember on how many states we have been banned, there is also Australia having a personal vendetta againts Bart and by technicallity the family.
I do see Drakken being either amused or outright proud of Bart tho, little guy when he crosses the line he really doesn't half ass it.
Like it would be funny that once they start to investigate the family, Bart just appears as one of Australia most wanted and public enemy number 1.
As for Shego she does still has some standards, like she could have blown the whistle on Drakken to his mother a long time ago and yet never did it.

Man, the funniest thing is that it makes a lot of goddamn sense for Drakken having the Simpson gene.
Also he could probably get into some middle grounds with his half-brothers.
Herbert is an inventor and car designer after all and Homer when he does has his bouts of intelligence and inspiration can make some solid stuff, sad his automatic hammer patent got swindled under him by Edison descendants just cause he forgot it at the museum.

heck cannonically Homer actually talks and walks with God allot of the time, and he has his falling outs with Marge every now and then, but eventually it all gets better with time. heck, i bet if Bart actually put himself to the test, he could be pretty damn good...would be hilarious if he became a secret agent and had to basically undercover as a stay-at parents/folks house as a construction worker on his off time.
