A Hellfish flys again! ( a Simpsons X DVV CK2 Quest)

I mean, we have a ducktales setting.

Magic to stay youth is no problem.

The problem is the targets that would put on our backs.

Like had the idea of Burns owning an actual Magic lamp on his vault, but one he never really used outside of very petty wishes and the loophole to wish for more wishes.

But that lamp is being searched by someone, a very powerful and old wizard.

Cue us getting our versión of the Ducktales movie and trying to survive Merlock the Wizard.

I mean, we wouldn't announce to the world we had a special magic item that gave us eternal life or anything. We'd just say it was a proprietary product/process for life extension. As long as we keep a low profile, it wouldn't be an issue.

...It would probably be a bad idea, but imagine if we found a way to make Abe's body how it was back when he was much younger. Like, younger than Homer younger. The reactions from the family would almost be worth the numerous questions it would raise.

I hearby declare this canon! I offer a + 10 to finding a radioactive man or a +10 to a super actions.(superhero and villains)
I declare this very good! I offer a +10 to any national or personal action or you get to ask us a question and we shall answer though we get to veto ones that are to spoilery.
From Boiling Isles to Fields of Spring
Unfortunately non cannon though a good idea, I offer you +10 to a stewardship, or +10 to an occult action, or +10 to a moe personal once recruited (we had trouble coming up with this one so we said f#£k it.)
I declare this canon! I offer A 10+ for the hounds action or a reroll for the hound action.

Awesome to hear from you and loving the reward choices~ :)

Comics & Love

Awesome to see this make canon! Which means Jeff and Kumiko are a thing and now or will be engaged (depending on when you choose to place this omake timeline wise~) hmm maybe Comic Book Guy will choose Homer as best man~

But as reward I shall take + 10 to finding a radioactive man

Figure that should find that out since it's closer to the homefront, if there's a threat that took him out for some reason we need to know before it becomes problem for us by extension. Plus radioactive man actually existing now is (Likely do to reality merger/shifting and so) is important to address.

From Boiling Isles to Fields of Spring
Shame didn't make canon with this but I understand~ Still glad you like it and the angle was approaching this.

I'll take a +10 for any occult action as we're still lacking in that department even with the recruitment choices among Springfield.

A Fans Thoughts

Thank you glad you thought this one was well done~ I think I'll take a +10 to any national action and your question hmm what to ask.

SORRY! Hehe sorry misread there a bit but I'll take the question sorry.

As for question I can ask ohhh what to ask, what to ask...ah..oh..I KNOW!

Oh great wise QM what's the meaning of life?

No wait...DOH!

Hehe but seriously bad attempt at Homer impression aside I think I know what I'd like to ask. I'm tempted to ask what heroes are still alive or dead out there like Team Possible and such, or states of certain characters.

But instead i'll think i'll ask something closer to homefront on angle that's been bouncing around my head wondering if should be topic addressed in omake. Though not sure if this counts as spoiler or not.

That said the question is this, how will the passage of time be noticed or addressed in Hellfish if at all?

After all years/decades went by in the Simpsons shows with few of the characters growing any older. But there have been signs of passage of time despite Simpsons and others not aging a day.

Such as Ling Bouvier being a toddler older than Maggie sometime after getting adopted by Selma instead of same age.

Or when Moe reunites with Mona in her comeback a mention of years having gone by.

So a part of me can't help but wonder how this might address in quest. Whether the character are still caught in the same mysterious time age loop, if they'll age at all, or if they'll even realize or notice that decades have gone by without them aging?

Sorry to unload all that with single question but felt should probably add explanation is all. :)

I think you misread by accident? It's either a +10 to any national or personal, OR the question, you can't have both unfortunately.

We will need you to fix/edit your post with which of the 2 rewards you are going with.

That reminds me, did we ever look into that weird locket we got?
Nope, we just got it last turn and tbh we still need some more stuff to do before we branch into other researchs really.

On the other hand if all goes well with the Kaiser we should have Springfield repaired by this turn, which should clear our agenda for a while.

Oh and @Ranger65 in the event you find my question lacking (And hope didn't waste reward with dumb question.) or if unsure how to answer it at this time.

Than can either put pin in it to answer later if you prefer, or offer a backup alternate question (only if allowed of course) if first question is lacking or unable to be answered for some reason.

Also sorry again about earlier mistake where choose national and question both accidentally misread that part when got bit distracted on my end

Also there wasn't an action to investigate it at all last turn, something that I only realized after voting had closed or else I probably would have asked about it then.

If that was on purpose then it's probably an Occult action to investigate it, in which case we may be able to do it next turn (assuming we passed the action to unlock them and nothing more important comes up)

Got two ideas for Fink wanted to out down and share, if anyone got any thoughts on them please share. 😊

First on examining the kaiser does anybody else this might lead to another treehouse of horror factor? I'm speaking of course of Finks father.

I could see knowledge gained from studying kaiser leading or playing a part in reanimating Fink Sr.

While second idea is another tie in with Big City Green in character Gwendolyn Zapp. I can't help but picture them as former friends or perhaps even ex's from days of university.

If latter perhaps had awkward or messy break up, if former perhaps tension in friendship happened. Either way perhaps angle of drama happening when they cross paths again

Thoughts, anyone?

The Frink thing might work, though keep in mind his Dad also went insane and went on a murder spree, so probs best to put it off for a while

On the other hand Frink sr was mostly from having most of his stuff changed to mechanical bits.

On the other hand Frink senior is an asshole on a even higher caliber than Abe ever was to Homer.

Cannot comment on the Big city greens plot tho.

On the other hand if more of the threehouse of horror stuff does become relevant, we better watch out for Kang and Kodos making appareance, specially since aliens will be a thing here thanks to Lilo and Stitch, those 2 are never good news for springfield.

I'll admit been wondering when or how Kang & Kodos might come into play in this universe.

Especially with other alien powers in play on earth and greater galaxy.

A Sad Clown(canon!)
Hey, hey! Sorry for the double posting kids, but to make up for it here's a new omake about everyone's favorite clown~

A Sad Clown

Hyman Krustosky got out of his car wearing a worried frown as he looked upon his destination a apartment building still need in repairs from the dome before turning at the sound of a voice, "Oh thank goodness you're here." And saw none other than Sideshow Mel his sons friend and sidekick on his ridiculous Krusty the Clown tv (Oh vey the things the young people watch these days) wearing a distressed worried look as he walked up to him, "Perhaps you might be able to talk sense into him."

He told Hyman as he nervously rubbed his hands together before turning and leading the way into the apartment building to find the source of their shared worries his son Herschel Krustosky or as he's known these days Krusty the Clown.

"He's in here.." Mel told him as they came to one of the apartment doors before gently opening with a crack into a room with many frankly disturbing arkworks depicting clowns getting torture, maimed, and killed all likely done by the owner of the apartment a former one night stand of his sons (who he believed was named erin.) who not only clearly held a grudge even after all these year but was also the mother of his only granddaughter Sophie.

Who he thought with a slight sad sigh as his eyes went to the form of his son (who was a absolute mess) sitting on a couch while holding what seemed to be a picture frame, "My son.." He called out in his best soothing voice as Mel and he step in with Krusty simply giving a grunt, "Hey dad.."

But didn't look away from the picture as Mel and his father took seats beside, "So..." Hyman hesistated for a moment before his eyes fell onto the picture his son was holding depicting his son and his granddaughter laughing together joyfully and he gave a weary sighed feeling the weight of the world upon him, "Still no word or sign of them."

Krusty gave a bitter snort, "No dad they're in the kitchen baking cookies." He retorted with some barb as he shot the man a dirty look, "If I knew where my daughter was you think i'd be here acting like a miserable loser!" He snapped glaring at Hyman and actually cause the man to flinch never having seen his son like this though as Mel looked worried that his idea to call in the big guns in Krusty father had backfire Krusty face fell as he sighed sadly, "Arg..i'm sorry dad."

He said rubbing his eyes, "It's just...I." He struggled trying to explain only to feel the comforting hand of Hyman on his shoulder squeezing it in reassurance. "It's okay my son..I understand." He told his son in a soothing voice and he did truly.

Because yes the town had been through a lot thanks to that blasted dome but Krusty in particular had been extra hard in these times.

All thanks to the disappearance of his daughter and her mother sometime after the dome fell. Krusty himself was looking back at the picture in his hand in a frown wondering what happen to Sophie.

He remembered coming to the apartment a couple of days into the dome wanting to talk to his daughters mother about Sophie and even her staying with him during the crisis. As he wanted to keep his daughter close and make sure she was safe.

Even if it meant potentially putting his life at risk at getting killed in his sleep by her mother....but for Sophie he found that was a risk he was willing to take. Only when he arrived there was no trace of them with signs of not only someone packing in a hurry but signs of some kinda struggle in his daughter room with this very crack picture frame laying on the floor being all he found.

And in the weeks following as he tried to survive the dome there was no sign of them anywhere in town! Which didn't make sense at all there was no way they could have gotten out right?

He thought with a frown as he sighed and even after the dome was gone he had still had no luck finding them at all, and with the fact that he was falling on hard time he wasn't exactly rolling in the extra dough to pay for higher level resources to do so.

Honestly it was like the world was playing a cruel joke on him, after the disaster with the dome Springfield seemed to be heading towards a brighter more hopeful future.

Repairs were going good and that old miser Burns had lost everything. Only while everyone seemed to raising high he was falling hard like a rock.

His daughter was missing, he was starting to face hard time financial wise (and paying for Sophie search wasn't helping matters), and just to add a cherry on top his show wasn't doing the best (partial do to the fact he was having trouble bringing his A-game do to Sophie always being on his mind.) and he was starting to worry it might get the axe if that didn't change.

Also there was the fact his former sidekick Sideshow Bob had escaped from jail. Thankfully he and Bob had buried the hatchet and the guy had stopped trying to kill him. But with how his luck had been going a part of Krusty couldn't help but feel paranoid.

While wondering if he should play it safe by looking over his shoulder and be on the guard for Bob backsliding and trying some plot to kill him again.

Though even if that worst case scenario happened Bob was more likely to go after that Bart Simpson kid first. Which honestly Bobs grudge and obsession with the kid was just creepy at this point he thought with a grimace.

But the clown shook off those worries (Though he hope the kid could handle Bob again. Especially since he was 50 percent sure Sophie had a crush on him hehehe~) as he told his father and Mel all of his worries, "I just don't know what to do!" He yelled as he started to pace in front of them, "Sophie out there and I can't do anything!"

He yelled as he threw the picture frame to the ground before giving a bitter snort, "Though honestly it's not like I was ever able to do anything for her in the first place." He said as he frowned feeling a wave of misery overcome him as he fell to his knees, "I'm nothing but a failure a sad pathetic clown who can't make anybody laugh, or take care of his only daughter."

He said before he started to cry into his hands as Mel and his father came to his side, "Krusty please don't cry." Mel implored as he rubbed his boss and friend back not liking seeing him like this, "Yes my son this is no time to drown yourself in your misery."

Hyman told Krusty in a strong tone with Krusty giving a watery snort, "Oh it's not than when is?!" He asked with a roll of his eyes, "I've only got to worry about my missing daughter, my show going down the drain, and a escaped psycho who may or may try to kill me." He said with a grumble, "Exactly your daughter."

Hyman told him in a stern tone looking into his eyes as Krusty gave a blink, "I won't lie you have your faults...many many faults." Hyman said with Krusty sending him a look, "Hey!" As he snapped in defense only for his father to carry on, "But you at your heart are a good man and.." He gave a smile, "You are a good father who loves his daughter and would do anything for you.." He arched a brow, "Are you not?"

Krusty frowned rubbing his neck as Hyman and Mel helped him up (IThe latter giving a blink as he noticed what appeared to be some paper sticking out of the broken frame behind the photo), "Um..well..yeah of course." He said with his tone at first unsure before getting more determined, "Than tell me.." Hyman gesture toward his sons current lackluster state, "is spending your time crying like a sad lump helping her?"

"No." Krusty said looking down, "Than what are you going to do?" His father asked and as the question echoed in his head he clenched his fists as he replied back, "I'm going to find my daughter." He said with a nod as his father smiled proudly before Krusty groaned, "But that still doesn't change the fact i've still got no idea where to look."

He told his father not noticing Mel had bent down to investigate what he saw carefully picked up the folded up paper and unfolded it and seemed to be reading something before he gave a gasp, "But I think I do!" He yelled dramatically as he stood up and showed the paper to the two allowing them to read it.

"Dad it's Sophie and I really hope you found this." Krusty read aloud as he took the paper from Mel, "But moms been acting strange the past couple of days and heard her talking to someone on the phone about getting .." Krusty paused before yelling then ext part in shock, "OUT OF THE DOME! As Mel and Hyman exchaned worried look while Krusty continued to read, "I'm not sure how or what's going on, something about mom doing some work for them in exchange or something."

Krusty began to grit his teeth feeling his rage spike as the signs of someone packing in a hurry, the struggle in his daughters room, and now this..it was painting a picture that was making him angrier than he's ever been! A rage that was targeted at the mother of his child as he continued to read, "I'm going to try to sneak out and get you so we can leave together but just in case I can't i'm hiding this note so mom doesn't find it.."

"Hopefully we can all escape together and tell the world what they've done to Springfield." He said with a frown, "But if we can't...than I got a bad feeling mom wants to abandon you and everyone else and I won't do that." Despite his anger he gave a proud smile one that was shared by his grandfather, "It might take a while but if mom does take me out of the dome i'll try to get past her and expose what the government did."

Krusty said aloud before giving a weak laugh, "Hehe that's my girl." He said with a slight proud smile, "Yes and now we know what happen to her." Hyman said with a upset frown, "Yeah.." Krusty eyes narrowed in anger though a part of him already probably knew it was still hard to believe, "her mother sold out Springfield and took her outside the dome."

He said to the other two as Mel raised the most important question, "But where are they now?" He asked rubbing his chin with a worried frown, "It's been months since the domes destruction and you've still received no word from Sophie." Krusty frowned as he knew very well that wasn't a good sign.

Best case scenario Sophie mother had her on some kinda lock down preventing her from contacting him or anyone else in springfield...but worst case scenario. He shook his head not even wanting to think about it...but he knew Erin hated his guts ever since that one night stand that lead to him ruining that mission of hers. But even despite that she'd never do anything to harm their daughter...would she?

But he shook that off as he started to walk out of the apartment, "I don't know but I do know this.." He stopped at the door way and looked over at his father and Mel, "One way or another i'm going to find my daughter and.." He turned around and exclaimed, "i'm going to kick her mothers ass!"

And that's the omake~ Hope as always everyone enjoys the work. :) I decided to approach from a angle of the mother of Krusty daughter Sophie who's named Erin and was a former soldier that was discharged do to him getting contacted and made a offer by a unknown party during the dome crisis.

Now she and Sophie have disappeared into the wind and there's no sign of them. But Krusty isn't going to throw in the towl just yet, he's determined to find his daughter and have "words" with her mother. Though who contacted Erin and what is the status of the mother and daughter you might ask?

Well if this makes canon that's for the events of the quest to decide~

Nice omake, the only pet peeve of mine is the mention of Bob trying to kill Krusty again.

After the attemp to bomb him with an hipnotized Bart, they both actually bury the hatchet and it is something that actually sticks to later seasons as we see them hanging out and acting as friends on post movie episodes.

Like when Bob is making Krusty statues and mentions watching movies with him during the episode where Patty and Selma kidnap Homer.

Hell the man actually asks to go to Krusty's dad funeral to give out his condolences to his former partner.

As he said before he does have a life outside of Bart.

Glad you like the omakes and really appreciate the helpful criticism. So I edit the omake while adding in factor of Krusty show not doing the best and off hand mention of Sophie potentially having a crush on Bart for fun~

Hehe at least Krusty think she does~ But yeah feel free to tell me what you think of changes. 😊

Though on mentio of romance I wonder if Bart will have better luck in hellfish. Though for all I know he could somehow end up with Webby or something.

Hmm 🤔 and in that note considering this is a world where three categories of races live out in the open (While various other species hide behind masquerade) those being toons, humanity, and hmm anthro.. animal kin..?.. Anyway whatever the third category of species like those from Zootopia are called.

A part of me can't help but realistically see romance and cross species couples actually being a thing. Which if so wonder how they are viewed.

Or am I just overthinking things and being weird?
